Red curry and Pad See-Ew
Emily P.

So so good - best Thai food I've had in Tampa, maybe some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The red curry was amazing - huge serving size, very flavorful, full of yummy veggies. My boyfriend also loved his Pad See Ew. We live a decent distance away but will travel for this again. Servers were so friendly and attentive, plus the place is very clean and well decorated. I'd love to come back and try their floor seating.

Thai Basil with shrimp and white rice

Another amazing meal at Siam Thai. My bride and I walked over during a Westchase windstorm and enjoyed one of our favorite restaurants in the area. We were warmly greeted and quickly seated in a corner booth. We started with the Blanket Shrimp. The shrimps were crispy and piping hot and served with a sweet/sour dipping sauce. For the entrees, we chose the Penang Curry and the Green Chicken Curry, which tasted so good on a blustery, chilly night in Tampa Bay. The vegetables were crispy and the broth seasoned to perfection. I can't wait for my next trip to Siam Thai.

Cashew Nut
Federico F.

I ordered the Cashew Nut, but when it came I'm looking for the Cashew. I told the server there's something wrong here I ordered the Cashew plate but I don't see cashews. She took it back to the kitchen and they just threw the cashews on top and brought it out. It was also a little salty.

Chicken fried rice

This place was really good! Very yummy food and good value too. The chicken fried rice was super good and a good portion size too. Decor is neat on the inside and staff is very friendly. Service is quick too. Definitely don't miss this one, especially if you like Thai food!

Panang Curry

The Basics: Siam Thai Restaurant is located in the Westchase area. The menu is large and the service and food was great. Things I like: We enjoyed every item we ordered. We particularly loved the Panang Curry and Drunken Noodles. We ordered our dishes "Thai hot" and that level of spice was perfect. The service was also great and there was no wait for dinner on a Friday night. Things I didn't like: Nothing! A great spot to enjoy some Thai food. Overall, I would happily return to this restaurant for Thai food. We loved everything we tried.

Edamame

Absolutely our favorite Thai restaurant! It's so delicious everything we try there! First, it's a nice restaurant tastefully decorated. The waitresses and food runners are the best! They're hustlers and they're running around, helping everyone, super efficient! Food wise: we orders the edamame - perfect, the egg rolls - just right, and for dinner we had the chicken drunken noodles which was absolutely delicious! My first time trying them and I'll have it again! He had the Two Friends Panang, which has a coconut sauce that makes it a bit sweet and absolutely yummy! Yep, we love this place! We have tried other things and this is a place that never disappoints! Our fav in the area! Go check them out!!

Wow I did not expect this place to be as good as it was! Blew me away. Very unassuming spot but man can they cook. The duck curry I had may be one of the best dishes I've had in 2023. Crispy duck, savory red curry and great portion size. It was immaculate. If you are in the area, you must stop by this spot.

Spicy Salmon Roll

My sister and I visited Siam the other night while she was in town. I've been here a few times and have ordered a few different things before. We were seated immediately upon walking in. The place was busy, but not loud, which is always nice. We started with a Spicy Salmon sushi roll to share which was delicious. I ordered the Chicken Katsu, which came with vegetables and a big portion of white rice. The dish was so good, and really big so I had leftovers for another meal. The prices are really good considering the amount of food you get. I would try something different buy as they say don't fix what's not broken, so I will definitely be getting this again.

Delicious food, I came here after my pilates class and they have a huge menu of Thai food. I got the drunken noodles with tofu wild mild spice and their homemade sangria. Really good service too! Everything came out quickly and the staff was attentive. The inside is big too.

Sampler platter

Lovely experience overall. Tried the sampler to try as many appetizers as possible (pot stickers were a standout) and then their chicken pad thai. Enjoyed everything, very clean tasting, not greasy or over salted. Will be back to try more!

Lunch time!
Rachael O.

I forgot to take a photo of my pad thai and I'm so sad!!! The lunch special was the perfect amount of food - started with a salad that had a peanut dressing vs a ginger dressing which is such a twist to what we usually get at Thai restaurants. The pad Thai lunch special was BIG and I didn't even finish it! Service is always good. Parking is sometimes hectic in this area but not too bad during the day for lunch.

Reclining Buddha

I was in the mood for some Thai food, but was feeling too lazy to make it myself like I normally do. So headed over to Siam Thai since it is close. Excellent service... friendly and attentive. I ordered red curry with chicken, HOT! Not THAI HOT... just HOT. When it arrived, it was more like a mild in my opinion. No heat at all. This happens to me in almost every Asian restaurant I go to... So I asked for HOT condiments and loaded it up with some toasted, ground Thai Chili and some Sriracha. That was better... I was even sweating a little as I finished it up. I should have asked for Nam Prik Pao... they probably had some in back. I know why restaurants do this... because they have people returning dishes because it is TOO hot. But dang it, I really like some spice, lol. I guess I need to learn about four or five languages to be able to convince them I want my food hot? I wish I had the time... It was good... a little sweeter than I expect a Red Curry to be, but hey... this is America, land of the sweet tooth. But it was good... and the rice was tasty. I will go back!

Rice with shrimp
Olesya P.

Nice quick lunch at this cute place. Service was very friendly and attentive. It's also reasonably priced. Menus selection was pretty extensive, however I did missed green papaya salad that I always order in Thai places. Broad noodles were really tasty, and a good portion size. Rice with shrimp was pretty good as well. We also had spring rolls for appetizer which we enjoyed a lot. Was it a best Thai food I ever tried? No. I spent a good amount of time in Thailand and know what to compare it to. Also, lived in NYC with amazing Thai food. This place is definitely good. I didn't have any complaints about it. Would recommend and would come back again.

They have their own parking in this plaza. Walked in here around 8:30 PM. They close at 10PM. A lot of places around closed earlier for a Thursday night from my search. It was empty, but people took food to go. We had the place to ourself. Nice and chill. We had two males assist us. One was new and shadowing. They were very nice and helpful. We went with the pad thai chicken and added shrimp. $3 more for shrimp for 5 of them. We asked for sweet and extra saucy and limes. Our dish was so big for both of us and it came out just perfect. We will def keep this in mind bc both of us loved their pad thai. I thought the prices were up there, and I figured bc of the area, but when we were able to split this one seeing how big it was, it was worth it for sure.

Booking a reservation online was so easy, and it didn't end up being a busy evening, as it was a Tuesday night, so we could have easily walked in, as well. The parking was easy and upon driving up, I instantly remembered that this location used to be Roux, a great New Orleans inspired restaurant where I used to frequent for brunch. The same tiled ceiling is still in placed but the remaining features of the restaurant have all changed. The space is open and inviting, and the bar at the entrance has been updated. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the menu is lengthy with plenty of great options. I ordered the fried tofu for our starter, and it was perfectly cooked and the dipping sauce was delicious! The tofu was as so plentiful that I ended up taking half the starter home. They definitely give you plenty! For our entrees, I ordered Panang Curry with steamed tofu and my friend ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice. Both dishes came out hot and smelled lovely, and the taste was out of this world! I ordered medium and it was the perfect spice level, and the curry was so flavorful and delicious! It may even be the best Panang Curry I've had in Tampa!

I'm glad I came a bit after the lunch crowd because parking in this area is always a nightmare with all of the other office space and restaurants right next door. To my surprise it was just me and 1 other guy in the entire restaurant. Now, it was a day after Easter at like 2pm, but still. I like how the bar area is divided between partly being inside and partly being outside. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather. It was a perfect 80 degree day. Up first, I had the $10 Spicy Edamame. I thought it was highly average. Not particularly spicy, and not particularly tasty. I wouldn't get this again. Then, I tried a $9 gyoza. Pretty standard as it should be. For the main course though. Wow, oh wow. I love me a great smoke show. The $22 Screaming Chicken Comes out absolutely screaming with smoke, steam, and sizzle. I loved the presentation. Then, they pour the hot sauce ontop of the meal and BOOM more sizzle!!! I asked for extra hot Thai spicy. The bartender laughed at me when I asked if I needed to sign a waiver. I said, ok so good to know it won't actually be spicy. I didn't even sweat eating the screaming chicken. I loved this dish and would absolutely come back for it again. For dessert, I'm a huge sucker for any donuts on a menu so I got the $8 Thai donuts. YES! I love the caramel sauce they are dipped in. I could eat these all day. Solid spot with lots of potential!
