The fish green curry was next-level good -- rich, aromatic, and unlike any other green curry I've had. The fish was tender and flaky, soaking up all that creamy, spiced coconut goodness. It felt unique, elevated, and deeply satisfying -- definitely my favorite green curry in Tampa so far! The duck came out crispy & food is flavorful! My Thai Coffee paired perfectly & the Tom Yum shrimp soup was just as good. I'll try to come back for dinner on another day. I came with my girlfriend. We both ordered the curries. Mine is Red curry. My friend got the other (don't remember the Thai Name) The first shock : the foods (specially the rices that came with it ) were too little. We look at each other. We call the male servers asking for more rices. He said 2$ each. How many ? My girlfriend decided not to order until we taste the curries. The curries were too sweet - like sugar. Have you ever gone to burger kings right after having dinner in a restaurant? That were what we have done. We spent almost 50 dollars and we finished our dinners in Burger Kings. We still do not know why the cost of rices were so little - the restaurant did not served a little more rice after so many one stars review complaining the portions were too little. I used to come here very often for years and years. But somehow I stopped coming, and when we thought about take out, my daughter was craving Thai. Thais is really the inky Thai I eat in Tampa. I called in with a big order and it was ready in 20 minutes. My daughter drive to pick it up, and she was extremely surprised how well they handle business in these tough times. I really salute them of taking precautions to extreme. I would not feel comfortable taking out from a place where they don't. The staff was very friendly and thankful for our order. It made us feel even better supporting them at this difficult times. They also gave us a coupon for future take out. I'm all about supporting small local businesses. Saw the 3.5 overall rating but rolled the dice anyway because it was next door to our appointment. This was 3:00 on a Friday. The takeaway is that this is a small business with customary struggles. Go at the busy times for a better experience. Pad Thai was proper. Skip the chicken. The Crab Rangoons have a yellow colored mixture that the server / probably owner said have real crab meat, served with two ounces of sweet and sour, and five rangoons on the plate. I enjoyed them because they're $9 and by golly I'm going to eat them. Overcooked, I suspect they were left over from the lunch rush. Had to use my back teeth to bite through. Good temperature but could t have been freshly cooked. The Panang curry sauce itself was proper but the chicken was rubbery. My partner loves all Panang but refused to eat any of it. I'm not sure if they're just lazy, fatphobic or both. My friend and I walked into this establishment at 6:52pm on a Sunday. The man who greeted us told us they close at 9. Our response was "we know. It's 6:52pm." I ordered the seafood pumpkin red curry and then later I decided I wanted the beef massaman because it was late and I had decided that I did not want to meal prep for the next day. Our server made a comment saying "TWO THINGS??? THAT'S A LOT OF FOOD!!!!!!" As far as the food goes: I thought the beef massaman was way too peanuty. The beef was cooked nicely. Rice was ok. I know the sauce from the dishes should help with the flavor of the rice but it was just very bland. I did enjoy the squash and boK Choy that was in the curry. The Thai tea was pretty good but it was about 3/4 serving of ice and the rest actual tea. I have had better Thai so overall I will not be back. read more

Located on Dale Mabry Hwy in the Carrollwood area near Bay Lake, this Thai restaurant boasts of its Wanton Soup, Cashew Nuts, & Green Curry. It is open from 11 AM till 10 PM Monday thru Saturday & until 9:30 PM on Sundays. A small restaurant, there are approximately 8 booths that each seat four patrons, as well as three larger tables that each seat eight. There's also a small front open air patio. I suggest online reservations if you want to be assured a table. There are no paper menus available; the menu is large, hardcover, & its pages are laminated. Takeout is an option, as well as delivery. There are 10 available appetizers. Our Crab Rangoon @ $6.95 was made w/ cream cheese & a "hint of curry." However, the inside cheese pulled like mozzarella, so I'm unsure what else these wantons contained. I found it to be average in texture & flavor; however, my date liked it more. The Jasmine's Sampler for two @ $13.95 looked interesting; it contains two crab rangoon, two eggrolls, two chicken gyoza, two fried shrimp, & two fried wanton. Maybe next time:-) Five Soups are offered, 3 salads, 4 Yum dishes (including squid), 14 Jasmine Specials (all served w/ steamed white rice-- & no substitutions), 8 Entrees (all served w/ steamed white rice-- no substitutions), 4 Curry Dishes, 4 Fried Rice (including Pineapple Fried Rice), 5 types of Noodles (not served w/ rice), & miscellaneous desserts. Wines are also available for purchase-- see pic. If it's Domestic Beer or Imported Beer you desire, both are available. There is a Specials Board inside near the entrance-- see pic. Today it contained 11 offerings that ranged in price from $14.95 to $23.95. There was also a Specials page within the large menu; it offered 9 Thai dishes & 2 Thai appetizers-- see pic. We shared Shrimp Pad Thai; it was very good. We also split Panang Curry w/ Beef (w/ white rice). It was very good as well-- loaded w/ vegetables & it had a mild coconut flavor. Patrons will be asked to specify their preferred spice level; we requested mild to medium; the chef prepared both dishes beautifully. Our two entrees w/ one appetizer came to $39.99 before tip-- seemed average in price for Thai food. I won't hesitate to return if hungry & in the area. However, I reside in another county & closer to my favorite Thai restaurant-- Little Ninja Thai Cafe of Zephyrhills. Our service was very good. Unfortunately, no name tags were worn, no server name appeared on our bill, & when we did try to learn of our excellent server's name, we couldn't seem to get her attention or the owner's-- the only other staffer on the floor. Should you have Covid concerns, hand santitizer is located just outside the restaurant, just inside the restaurant, & there are multiple signs insisting on masks being worn to enter & when not seated-- because we know this strange virus doesn't effect anyone seated. Really love this spot! Last time I visited, I ordered "Jungle Curry" which does not have coconut milk (a nice option to have) and had a ton of veggies - and was spicy! I love spicy food so this definitely hit the spot. I also ordered steamed dumplings and OMG! Their dumplings are seriously so good. The first time I visited I remember ordering krab Rangoon and they make it with creamy curry - also an amazing appetizer! The service was quick and I felt well taken care of, and the atmosphere is awesome. There's a calm vibe to the dining area with a beautiful interior that's whimsically comforting. There's even a private dining room where you can sit comfortably on the floor surrounded by pillows. Their menu has a great selection of options ranging from traditional to more Americanized options. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED TO GO with a competitor. We've been going here religiously FOR YEARS and I felt the accommodations to my spice intolerance level were always met. I requested the same dish as always only to be informed that not only was I and someone else at another table being charged for less food due to "shrink-flation" but the food was only going to be spicy and no modifications would be made. This of course could've been the new waitress who didn't bother checking with the kitchen. As she insisted "this was the only way it could possibly be made", I knew FOR A FACT adding a bit more coconut milk would lessen the intensity as it was done many years I've attended. When you enter they have a table set up where you stop and give them your name and they go back for your order. Staff super friendly as always and greet you as soon as you enter. Order was packed and given and I was sent on my way. She even thanked me for supporting their business! Local owned so it's nice to support the small guys. Came home to find that we're missing the chicken fried rice and instead had ginger chicken. Called and they fixed it asap and I picked it back up. She apologized and sent me on my way. This place is hit or miss- service wise. Food wise it is always consistent, they are very good but the portions keep getting smaller and smaller as the years go by... When you walk in your totally immersed in Thailand. it's beautiful inside with all the decor. They have a lot of daily specials. I like their pad thai and tom kha ga (coconut soup) Lunch time is good here if you have never tried Thai food before. It gives you a little bit of everything. Soup-Salad and then the entree. I've had the whole fish and it is delicious. I ordered a green curry that was supposed to have shrimp and tempura eggplant. The price was about $16 on the menu. I received the dish in the picture, which is skewered shrimp with some kind of red sugary sauce on it. I was with others so I just ate part of it and did not complain. The bill came, and it was $60 for the two of us on my ticket. They were charging $27 for the sugary shrimp, $2.50 per each unsweetened hot tea (which was a teabag in a tiny cup instead of a pot for the table), and the rest of the charge was for my boyfriends shrimp fried rice. I asked the server about the charges and he pointed on the menu to something i did not even order. I said I did not order that. Then he pointed to something else and said what I ordered (which is still not what he pointed to) was $2 more than he charged me, and he should change that but I get a deal. I paid the bill, left a $0.00 tip, and will not go back. read more

THE THAI FOOD HERE IS EXCELLENT! My office used to order from here almost every month before we moved away. It wasn't only me who always craved their delicious Thai food but everyone in my office would always look forward to our lunch orders from here. I am addicted to their noodle dishes. I usually get the Pad Se-Ew noodles with chicken. When I want something spicy, I get the Spicy Noodles dish or the Pad Thai. I've also tried their curry dishes - the Green Curry is awesome. The lunch portions are perfect but I love getting dinner portions and taking the rest home for leftovers. The customer service here is very friendly and nice. They always remember me and almost have all my co-workers' usual orders memorized. I dined-in before with my family here and we had a great experience with the service and the food. This Restaurant is located in a really busy shopping center and parking can be very limited at dinner time. When entering the restaurant we were greeted right away and we're sat in the far back corner off to the left. I was surprised that the young hostess didn't ask us if we needed a highchair for our Toddler and when we requested one, she told us that she was going to have to wait to move us to a different table because due to social distancing there wouldn't be room for a high-chair. By the time we were moved we had already spent 20 minutes in the restaurant and when sat at our new table, we waited an additional five minutes, roughly, before she came to take our order. Under normal circumstances, I would find this semi-annoying but watching this young lady wear multiple professional hats and run the entire front of this busy restaurant on a Friday night, had me more concerned with her than food. When she came over to take our order she was so quick in her dialogue that we didn't have time to order the appetizer. My husband had to request it after catching up with her in the restaurant. In all, I thought the food was pretty tasty. The chicken had kind of an off taste but there wasn't a whole lot of chicken in our dishes so it wasn't overpowering. I thought the Gyoza was very nice and this would probably be a great location to go to outside of peak hours. I'm giving Jasmine Thai restaurant three stars not for the service but for the owner. I know that there can be unfortunate circumstances where people do not show up for their shift and a server is left struggling for the evening but the manager should've been out there helping. That girl should not of had to take care of 10+ tables and seat people, bus tables, and deliver food alone. read more
