Siam Thai is among one of our favourite Asian restaurants. Amazing location overlooking the ocean in beautiful Malahide. From ambiance, friendly staff & excellent service but most of all the food it is amazing! We frequent it often. Maria the manager does an amazing job she has an amazing team there. Ordered takeout from here and it was solid. No spice at all in any of the food we tried . Maybe its unfortunately due to the fact that people may not like their food spicy here. The Pad Thai and Fried rice were delicious though. Well made and I would order takeout again read more

What I ordered Thai Spicy Chicken Wings (€9.95) Sweet Potato Fries(€4.95) Darrens Manhattan (€11) Chillies & Thai Herbs Stir Fry w/ Chicken (€22.95) Overall, I enjoyed the dishes I ordered. Everything was really delicious The wings were nice. They had a nice flavour to them and a nice little crunch to them. I decided to use their constellation guide to pick my drink. I'm a Taurus , so I got the Darren Manhatten. It wasn't bad, it was not too strong and had very little sweetness to it. The Chilli and Herb Stir Fry was really nice Only problem is that I'm not sure if it comes with rice/noodles by default, as I was only served the sauce. ‍I ended up having to ask a member of staff for a portion of rice. Came from the states, having tried many different Thai restaurants. By far the best red curry I have ever had. We'll balance between the spice and sweetness of the coconut milk. Just enough kick from the fresh chilis and the vegetables were fresh and were not overcooked or mushy. Lastly the texture of the curry itself was great, smooth, and silky. read more

The food here was delicious and the ambiance is great if a little weird. Half of the place looks like fine dining and the other half is all hip/modern. I pretty much never order Pad Thai at Thai restaurants because it's pretty much always the same, but my colleague ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and it was the most delicious pad thai I've ever eaten (and I don't even like tofu). I forgot what I got, but it was really good (not as good as hers though). read more

The food is very good! The Basil with Chilli duck is pretty darn tasty. Just spicy enough to burn but not super spicy where you have to drink a jug of water! I also had an alcohol free Apple Cocktail and it was pretty good. They gave us the Early Bird price even though some of the friends didn't arrive until 7:10. The only negative thing is that we came here on a Sunday and it was karaoke night or something. There were two ladies singing and they'd invite some of the children up to screech with them. I am not sure if this is every Sunday but it was pretty loud and annoying when you are trying to have dinner with friends. I am glad they didn't seat next to the speakers! read more

Superb food. That's what you want in a restaurant and that's exactly what you get here. Staff are very friendly and really look after you. Have been there when it was quiet and also when very busy and service was quick on each occasion. There's usually some live background music provided by some in house singers which is pretty good. Prices are reasonable and they do a good early bird aswell. Great selection of everything; starters, mains and deserts. And you get even get some good quality cigars! Smoke them outside of course people! Overall a great spot and close to some good bars for some drinks before or after. read more

Amazing food! I had heard ALOT about this restaurant and tried it out for the first time last weekend. Myself and my boyfriend are hooked, and will be definitely going back! The service is perfect, not too much, not too little. The atmosphere is relaxed, and would suit all ages. Overlooking Malahide harbour, its the perfect location for Summer dinner & drinks with a twist! Its a little pricey, but well worth it! If price is the issue, they have an early bird menu. This was my second time dining here. One thing I can say for sure is the food is very consistent. Awesome flavors with all the spice ranges your heart desires. Extremely professional customer service. Beautiful decor with a calm and laid back vibe to it. We found it very busy but very comfortable having a one in one conversation. Cannot say , however, that we were absolutely wowed by it. Service that day was acceptable, but not great. We asked for a meal recommendation and did not really get one. Always delicious fresh food served hot which is really tasty. Service is good with a full bar etc. So lots to choose from as well as an extensive food menu. The location is also accessible in the centre of malahide village. The only downfall is when the bill arrives as the 'value for money' element is questionable unfortunately. Delicious food. The yellow curry with jumbo prawns that I ordered ended being shared by the whole table. The prawns were cooked perfectly and the size of lobster tails. Others in the group had prawns in ginger and pad Thai. All were very good. Service was a bit spotty as our reservation was recorded as two people while we stood by and head the hotel say four. We were eventually seated but waited 10 minutes before any server arrived. It was ok (not excellent) after that. read more

Really nice Thai restaurant. Friendly staff, great location too, although I do reckon the prices are pretty steep, I've paid less in a Thai Michelin star restaurant! Their Red Curry with prawns is the best in the city. The ambiance in this restaurant is very classy and their wait staff are always very accommodating. I've been to this restaurant several times and have always been happy- just a little pricey for what you get though. That said it's nice to go for a treat every now and again. Their early bird lunch meal is very good and I always feel really full afterwards. I would definitely recommend this restaurant the next time you'e in Malahide Village and had a craving for Thai food. read more

Have eaten here a handful of times, and the food is always good, the staff always happy to try and find you a table, and the service is top-notch. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the prices, which are probably average for Malahide but still a little steep for my pocket. read more

Very disappointing visit with my family. We've been here a few times before it was renovated and we loved it. This time we waited 10 mins before we ordered eventhough there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. The food that eventually came to our table was average at best. The currys were not authentic in the slightest. When it came time to order dessert the dessert 2 of us wanted was out of stock....fine the others ordered theirs. Eventually 20 mins later the waitress came back to tell them that one of the desserts that was ordered was also out of stock.... I mean shouldn't they have been told as soon as the order went into the kitchen??? After all this the bill was given to us I thought it was a bit pricey so I went through the bill they over charged us by €100! We complained about this and the service throughout our time their they just apologised they didn't offer a discount or free dessert or anything.... we will not be going back. read more

Authentic Thai food right at the harbor. They have an outdoor seating area with a nice view of a park and sailboats. The pad Thai was sweet and tangy, while the beef salad was spicy. I'd recommend the tamarind duck as well. The restaurant is kid friendly for lunch. read more
