Our hotel recommended the Noble House Restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and their menu had lots to choose from.
We started with calamari, crispy orange chicken and honey prawns. All of our appetizers were delicious and delivered to the table hot and fresh. My favorite was the Honey Prawns ($7.50) The prawns were encased in a delicious bread coating and deep fried. Almost like a corn dog but much better.
When it was time for ordering our entrees one of the owners of the restaurant suggested that I change my order from Sesame Chicken to Mala Chicken ($15.50) with fried rice. ($3.50) Mala Chicken is chicken in a hot numbing sauce. The sauce is made with Sichuanese peppercorn, chili peppers and several spices that are simmered in oil. This dish was very good and one that I would order again. read more
