I have shutterwise powered outdoor screens in Indian Wells, they made and installed them, now they refuse to service them. They referred me to some company called Tucson who appears to be out of business. Shutterwise should service the broken screens they installed and not leave their clients with zero options. Called ShutterWise because one of my motorized outdoor shades stop working and they promptly sent out Matthew Rey to find out why is stopped working. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly, needed to replace the motor and had a new one with him. He had the shade repaired and working within 20 minutes of his "on time" arrival. Trying to get service from this business after they install their product is absolutely impossible. They will not return calls, they will not respond to my service request, and when I was able to speak with someone at the company to discuss what I need or order a part, I just get the runaround! They are very unprofessional as far as servicing the equipment they install. Needed to have electric retractable awnings installed on the backside of my hillside home so that my dogs would not burn their feet in the summer heat when going to the bathroom. A total of five 16' beautiful electric awnings. One company came out. The sales person didn't know her head from her a*s. Another company came out and told me it would be eight weeks before they could install. And they complained about my steep driveway (I live in the hills of Palm Springs). Greg came out, gave me a very competitive quote and had the awnings installed in two weeks. Top of the line awnings with Somfy motors and Italian made Sunbrella-equivalent material. The awnings extend at sunrise and detract at sunset. Also a wind sensor. Bruce (Greg's son), Brandon (lead technician) and their crew arrived at 5:50 AM, installed and were cleaned up and gone by 3 pm. Amazing job! Could not be happier! read more

Hello local folks. I'm a one man very small local handyman and in this valley I come across $10 million homes to $200,000 homes and everything in between that needs fixing repairs maintenance upgrades most recently a home built in South Palm Desert in 1956. My clients home has the aluminum shutters on the outside on every window and door. She's from Germany and that's how it is in Germany. She grew up there and escaped now lives your peacefully quietly and safely.. she hired me to fix two sets of metal, roller aluminum shades, that the material of the road to tape. The wind boxes had all been broken for years as she is a widow of two years. I called approximately 10 different companies locally to help me the one-man show with the very small company get parts to fix these two rollup shutters so she continued to feel safe and was able to open the other and let daylight in so she could see in her kitchen outside her beautiful backyard now I'll cut it short. SHUTTER WISE is the one and only company that came to our rescue via the owner the manager of the shop foreman all of the staff who I came in contact with. They allowed me to come to their warehouse and purchased two new wind boxes already equipped with the new tape. I encourage anyone out there who needs repairs who needs quotes who needs installations who needs maintenance these are your guys shutter wise! Hands-down the only one out of 10 that I called who would give me the time of day and the interaction with Justin, the staff , there in person absolutely perfect the way business should be running friendly, kind, professional, and helpful.
