You are wasting your time if you call Dunn Right to repair your blinds. They promise to repair you blinds the day you call out on the day after, but they actually never show up. I called them three times and got a promise to fix our blinds that day or the next and never heard a word after. They just don't show up. read more

Moving is usually awful and buying a home in Palm Springs in the current market, while a privilege, usually involves paying far too much for too little, and will need more work than you ever imagine... The elderly population is big on deferred maintenance! When we finally found a home, built in the 60's, it came without any window coverings so we started the absolutely dreadful exeperience of opening our home to salespeople from every window shade company under the sun, pun intended, even one of the Costco vendors. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. The Shade Store wanted over $10 for 7 windows, all the cheapest or lowest cost version, in every way. 3-Day Blinds is an absolute scam, in our opinion, for any "expedited service" you will need to likely sell a kidney or other organ to pay for them. The list goes on... Oh, and they all told us that the coverings we wanted couldn't be done the way we wanted. One of our windows is large and they all wanted to do it in three sections, leaving ugly seams in the glass allowing people to peek in. Then, through the grace of the pros we used for our home inspection, we found Shane at DunnRight. To say the experience was anything less but perfect would be a crime, Shane was fast, easy to talk to, made himself available at almost any day or time to talk about our concerns, and came in with a bid that was close to 60% less than out lowest bid. On top of that, even our large window was done perfectly in one large section, exactly how we wanted it. The best part, it tool about 10 days from start to finish. The other arrogant, obnoxious, overpriced companies, including Costcos vendor, all wanted more than 8 weeks. That would be A LOT of the neighbors watching us walk around naked. On top of that, they all insisted their own opinions about what we wanted and made us feel terrible about our choice. Shane did everything we wanted, made excellent suggestions - all of which we followed. We have never been happier with a home improvement vendor. HIGHLY recommend. read more

The job was not "done right". I have a horizontal honeycomb blind with loop cord that needed new loop cord and a cover for the gear so the loop cord does fall out. $125 to install $2 loop cord. He did not have with him nor order the cover...I could've done that myself, I wanted to have the cover so it is PROFESSIONALLY installed. When he invoiced me I politely confronted him that I expected this to be a complete job since it was extremely simple and inexpensive to fix and he charged for a fix and told me it would be fixed...he said he'd order the cover and get to me....i texted him to follow up...he did not respond. I can't say enough good stuff about Shane Dunn owner of Dunnright Blinds . I am a former Hunter Douglas widow covering manufacturers rep (for 20 years) and an interior designer. Once upon a time I had a lot of connections and interactions with widow covering installers. But alas, I am retired now and my connections are gone, (it hurts when you lose that) so I had to go to the Internet. I called Shane first and he quoted his service call fee and was available that afternoon, but my tenants weren't home so I had to wait to schedule. In the mean time, I called another company to compare and they were $50 more just for showing up. And then I found Dunnright's Yelp reviews. All stellar! Even after an old boss sent me a referral I decided to go with Dunn Right because of the reviews. He went out right away the next afternoon after receiving my text in the morning. They showed up with material samples to place against the window and the furniture for color and transparency.
