Shutter Up Industries just completed our Impact sliding door Installation and we could not be more pleased! This allowed for a much greater viewing area and more secure storm protection. One of the best unanticipated benefits of the installed doors is the reduction in noise! It is sooo much quieter inside and feels much more private inside! No more listening to the lawn mowers & yard blowers! Didn't have the greatest experience with this company. They were late in the installation and it didn't go smoothly. Putting up lanai shutters in back of house. First the salesman came out, then the owner came out to measure after the salesman had done so. The owner said it would be a couple of weeks and it was actually 4. I had to call several times to get my project scheduled, and the personnel kept changing the date and not calling me. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told he was on a boat out of the country and not available. The installation crew was extremely hurried, and very messy. I ended up patching a spot on the outside ceiling where they installed the track, because they were in such a hurry to get done. They told me they would come back after inspection, but had to put in a temporary fastener to pass inspection. It took 3 phone calls to get them back to finish the job after inspection. Also, they seemed to not have thought the process through to complete the job. At the initial installation, the head person kept calling me brother. If I had it to do over, I would go with someone else. read more

The owner, Jay, came out and put together an estimate to replace several windows with impact glass and also to install the cloth hurricane covers for our large butted glass breakfast area.
