I highly recommend Mike. He is extremely versatile in his skill set, very reliable, and…read moreconsistently does quality work. What I value most is that I can depend on him and fully trust him to handle projects properly, especially since I manage the property remotely. He communicates well, follows through on what he says he will do, and gives me confidence that the job will be done right. It's difficult to find someone with that combination of skill, reliability, and trustworthiness.

I hired this handyman to repair a closet shelving system that had pulled away from the wall which…read morewas being used for ordinary clothing storage and was not overloaded beyond normal household use. He assured me that the repair, including the anchors he installed, would support the weight of the clothing and items normally stored in the closet. Unfortunately, only about a week after the repair was completed, the entire system failed again and collapsed. The shelving and clothing ended up on the floor, creating a significant mess and forcing us to empty the closet once more. When I contacted him, he stated that the anchors he installed had held and that the real issue was that I needed an entirely new closet system. However, this was not what I was told when the repair was performed. Had I been advised from the outset that the existing system could not be safely supported or that a replacement was necessary, I would have appreciated that honesty and made a different decision. What is most disappointing is that despite the repair failing after only a week, he refused to return and evaluate the situation without charging an additional service fee. I understand that not every repair is guaranteed forever. However, when a repair fails within days and the customer relied on the handyman's representation that it would support the intended load, I believe standing behind the work and at least reassessing the situation is reasonable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. **UPDATE: With respect to Mike's response, many of the implications are categorically false, namely, that what is remaining of my closet is still usable and "hanging". The anchors screws, and brackets have bent and are misshaped. He also indicated fixed my toilet for "free" when, in fact, he actually exacerbated the issue and spent no more than a minute looking at the toilet and twisting the float and fill valve. So the contention that he was being generous with his time is unfounded. With respect to the text messages he's alluding to, admittedly, he did indicate he did not warranty his work, but also claimed "I'll also say this, I've never hung any shelving in somebody's called me back later and said that it came down". Moreover, "I can tell you that it's gonna go in with anchors at hold 220 pounds each and there's probably gonna be three or four so outside of that hopefully it lasts a long time". That said, given the estimated weight of the closet was no more than 150 pounds, that was less than 35% of its intended total weight, which should've held it without incident. Moreover, it's only been one week as opposed to two since he performed the job Finally, the mere fact that he wouldn't return to audit the job or two provide structured guidance and repair onsite as a gesture of Goodwill is woefully inadequate.

I could not be more impressed with the quality of work and professionalism provided. From the first…read morecall to the final walkthrough, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. He showed up on time, communicated clearly, and took the time to explain what needed to be done before starting the job. The work itself was excellent. Clean, precise, and done the right way. You can tell he takes pride in his craftsmanship and does not cut corners. He kept the work area clean, respected my home, and finished exactly when he said he would. What really stood out was the honesty and attention to detail. No upselling, no surprises, just straightforward service at a fair price. It is hard to find someone reliable and skilled like this, and I will absolutely be using him again for future projects. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dependable handyman who actually delivers on quality and professionalism.

If you really want to know whether someone is trustworthy, don't ask me, ask my cat…read more My cat dislikes pretty much everyone. Friends, family, delivery drivers, innocent bystanders... all are viewed with varying levels of suspicion. But for some reason, he likes Milton. He actually hangs around when Milton is here instead of disappearing into witness protection. Honestly, that's probably the strongest endorsement I can give. Milton is knowledgeable, kind, patient, reliable, and quite the character. He's the kind of person who can fix almost anything while keeping you entertained with stories and conversation. At this point, he's done so much work for us that I couldn't possibly list it all. He's replaced interior doors and door knobs, installed ceiling fans, replaced a water heater, mounted TVs and magically hid all the wires, hung those annoying barn doors that looked simple on Pinterest but definitely weren't, and tackled countless other projects around our home. No matter the job, Milton shows up with a great attitude, does quality work, and somehow makes the whole process stress-free. We absolutely love Milton and are so glad we found him. If you're looking for a handyman who's skilled, trustworthy, and apparently approved by even the most judgmental cat on the planet, Milton is your guy. Highly recommend!

I can not stress enough, how excellent Handyman Aleks is. He was very professional, on time and…read morehad a sense of urgency that was impressive! he did not rush at the cost of the jobs quality, but you could tell he was on a mission to do excellent work. I am so happy to have found HANDYMAN ALEKS, Furthermore I ordered white faux wood blinds and they were not an exact fit and he took the time to custom cut them at no extra charge. He is more than fair and reasonable in his pricing. Furthermore he installed a door handle lever in less than 10 minutes that I just happened to ask him if he could do it another time and he was like no problem I can do it right now it 10 minutes, I could not believe my ears! my last handyman just simply choose not to install the lever he just put in the key pad and left. Even tho the box had the keypad and lever together in one box as a combo lol but that was what I asked of him, and if he did install it I know for a fact it would of taken him at least 45 minutes, hence former handyman, because I am only using Handyman Aleks from now on. You could tell he takes great pride in his work and his work ethic is something that anyone would be impressed with. Do yourself a favor and give this gentlemen a call, I promise you will be truly impressed with his work. Thank you again Alek, It was a pleasure to meet you. take care. all the best, -Dan
