Brett promised the world during the sales process, but once the contract was signed, the follow-through completely disappeared. After that, everything was handed off to Casey and communication went downhill fast. Weekend availability is terrible. I purchased the shutters in November, and installation didn't happen until months later. Brett measured my windows twice, then a younger employee came out and measured again. When the third-party installers finally showed up, they had the wrong measurements. How does that even happen after three separate visits? On top of that, Casey was extremely rude and condescending. She also kept my credit card on file without my permission, which is completely unacceptable. The level of unprofessionalism throughout this entire process was through the roof. Also, the first photo shown on this so-called business profile (the one with the curtains) apparently doesn't even belong to them...or at least that's the impression I got when I asked Brett about it. After all the inconvenience, delays, and frustration, I honestly expected some type of discount or acknowledgment of the issues. Unfortunately, that never happened. Very disappointing experience.

I reached out to 3 vendors via Yelp and went with Morales Shutter Repair & Refinish because (1) they promptly scheduled a consultation (one of the vendors didn't want to come by and asked we send him the measurements, but I really didn't want to measure 15+ shutters myself), and (2) they paint the frames too (the other vendor we were considering only paint the shutters and not the frames). The shutters turned out awesome! They look brand new and match the rest of the house now. Pricing was very reasonable and the father and son duo were so pleasant and hard working. If you have real wood shutters that are looking a bit dingy, please consider hiring the Morales Shutter Repair & Refinish instead of replacing them. They bring them back to their glory!

We first worked with Rick 6+ years ago when we moved into our home. He installed shutters in our bedrooms and office, and they've held up beautifully. I remembered how professional and on top of everything he was, so I reached out again when we needed blinds for our bedroom. Jeremy and Parker came out for measurements and made the whole process incredibly easy. They walked us through options, gave thoughtful suggestions, and provided an estimate. All in about 10-15 minutes. About two weeks later, they returned for installation and were done in under 5 minutes. Everything was seamless. The best part is how it turned out. It's exactly what we envisioned, if not better. We now have automated blinds in our bay window that give us privacy while still letting in light, and they look so clean in person. A week or so later I requested he come out again and bring some samples so I could take pictures to show my boss. That was no problem for him, he came out within a few days, and that evening I signed off on everything via email. Order was placed and I was told we'd have them installed within 3 weeks. It ended up taking 4 weeks, but that was no problem for me. I actually had to reschedule the original install date because I was sick, and they were very understanding and accommodating of that. The guy who installed them was efficient and super clean. It took about 5 hours for him to mount all of the roller shades we got, and everything looks perfect! I got quotes from a couple other companies, and while Sunburst was about the same price as the other places, I ultimately chose them because I liked Kimball better than the other people I met with. His personality and communication with me is what sealed the deal.
