I was one of Mr. Kim's first customers for plantation shutters, and I regret ever trusting him. His business practices are dishonest, misleading, and completely unprofessional. He advertised his shutters as "Made in Korea" and repeatedly assured me that was true, using it as justification for charging a higher price. Based on that claim, I chose him over a well-known company my family had used. After months of shipment delays, installation day finally came -- and every single box was labeled "Made in China." This was nothing but a bait-and-switch. When I confronted him, he arrogantly brushed it off and said it "doesn't matter where they're made". That's not just poor customer service -- that's lying to your customers. The problems didn't end there. He made mistakes with the order, causing even more delays. And when the shutters were finally installed, the design was careless and sloppy. Panels swing in opposite directions, blocking walkways and ruining the view from my double and corner windows. Any professional would have installed them as bi-folds, but he dismissed my concerns and told me he "didn't see a problem." I'm unhappy with the work completed by Aha Blinds. read more

I had an exceptional experience with Mr. Kim when I was looking to replace my parent's house windows. He was kind, courteous and very professional. His office is located inside the Thuan Phat Supermarket or SF Market on Beach Blvd by the 405 freeway. I highly recommend you stop by the office to check out the samples and test the high quality blinds yourself to see the difference. Upon reviewing Yelp, I called Aha Blinds for our new home. Mr.Kim was very responsive and friendly. He came over on a scheduled time to measure. Within 10 days, which was 2-6 weeks earlier than other 2 companies that I received quotes from, he installed 15 blinds all over our house. Without his quick and quality service, we might have ended up living in bare windows after moving in. Thank you, Mr. Kim!!!Initially, I asked for remote controller options for 2 living room sliding doors, 2 big windows and 2 kitchen windows. However, my husband suggested that it'd be more convenient to add a laundry room and a kitchen bay. So I just texted Mr.Kim while waiting. He made sure all the changes I wanted. After installing all the blinds, our new home looks so contemporary and homey. I love remote control blinds!!! I never knew how convenient it could be!! Every morning, instead of pulling cords of individual blinds, I simply press a button to lighten up our home!!! Mr. Kim programmed separate options for each window or overall total windows. I just love it so much !!! We did zebra blinds all over, which looks even better in real home installation, except 2 90°angled windows in our office area. Mr. Kim suggested an up-down blinds for those difficult windows, considering a difficult angle and interior aspect. My husband is very satisfied with the result of a clear mountain view from the top yet plenty of privacy downward. I'm happy with how it turned out without weird unbalanced height or texture. I knew Mr. Kim had a good sense of style(He's in sttyle!) One thing to note about blackout blinds is that people like my husband who are super sensitive at light may not feel complete darkness. We did blackout zebra blinds for master bedroom and a 2nd bedroom. While my son didn't feel much, my husband feels we need additional blackout curtains(those regular fabric blackout curtains on the market). While we love the look, we're in a dilemma if we should remove the already installed zebra blackout blinds. We're considering installing regular blackout curtains, especially when our neighbor turns on the direct light toward our bedroom windows all night. Our house is a remodeled but rarher old one. Due to different structures of windows, it was not easy in a standardized method. Mr. Kim tried to accommodate according to each windows' character. Now I'm waiting for him to come back to modify a master bathroom blind. He installed a blind using the same bracket,but space was too narrow to make cabinet doors unopenable. I'm sure he'll fix this soon given the experience with him so far. I'll update my review after his service with a revised up&down blind( as he suggested). Highly recommend Aha Blinds! read more

Had my blinds done today by them! I think theyre new business but they seem very professional. My cats ruined the blinds at my parents and they were super pissed so i needed to replace them asap.
