Then I provided all of my records and tax documentation to Copper Canyon at the beginning of March 2018 - admittedly later than I intended. I was told it would take about 2 weeks for my taxes to be prepared. I didn't hear anything so I called back a few times and was told they hadn't been able to get to my file yet. I called back again on April 10, and only at that point was I told I needed to complete an "organizer" which was many pages long. I filled it out right away and sent it back, didn't hear anything, called again and was told I would have to file an extension. Ultimately my taxes weren't filed until the end of May. I wouldn't even care about that if Copper Canyon's communication had been better throughout the process. I paid $535 for their services and I didn't feel like I mattered to them as a client, so I'm not sure I want to go back. I have no complaints about my actual tax filings - as far as I can tell Marc did a great job sifting through my expenses and preparing my return.

He provided a self-addressed envelope and copies of all of my paperwork for my records with clear instructions on how to proceed.
