The beautician who worked on my brows was kind enough to ask if it was my first time getting my brows tinted, and worked with me accordingly regarding the shades based on how long I keep on a henna tint. It honestly lasted about 2 weeks max. Although, I may continue to do my own eyebrow tinting from home moving forwards. Quite a drive out, but I enjoyed my experience and the pricing here.

What rubbed me the wrong way was when I asked if she had punch cards for customers. She said no, then said not right now. On my next visit, I asked again and she provided a punch card. I asked her about my two prior visits and if I could get those punches. She then gives an answer that is not relevant to what's being asked. She replied "I'll punch it on your next visit." Well, ma'am, my next visit is for my next visit. I have had to ask her to sanitize her hands. If you've ever had threading done, the person is literally in your face and if it's post-lunch, you can tell exactly what they had or struggling with. Be aware that the area being threaded should be cleaned beforehand. It's irritating to remind the threader to do so. I wonder if this is in an effort to use less product. I need you to be just as vigilant with your sanitation practices as you are when the screen asks me if I want to leave a tip. Speaking of tips, the amount the screen shows is more than what's advertised. For example a 10% tip on a $12 service is $1.20, 20% is $2.40. Take the time to verify what's being shown so you know what you're saying yes to. The adjacent barbers are really loud with their conversations and music so there's not a lot of chit chat because it's difficult to hear. She is pleasant and patient and will listen to what you're requesting. I do like how she does my brows but need consistency in the simple hand hygiene practices and consideration if it's after a meal. By all means, take that coveted punch card each time you go and maybe, just maybe one day you'll actually accrue enough punches for a free service.

I first went to Dedra for treatment in September of 2017 to help even the texture and complexion of my skin. She assessed my skin and deduced that I would see improvements in three months with regular treatments. She also worked with me to develop a specialized skin regimen. She told me which products to stop using and which ones to incorporate in my routine. Though Dedra sells PCA and Dermalogica products in her office, she never pushed any of them on me. She recommended products that I could pick up fro Target and the grocery store that were just as effective. When I felt I needed products with concentrated ingredients she advised on which products from her Dermalogica and PCA inventory would work best for my skin. Most people would try to sell you as many products as possible. Dedra informed me of all the ingredients in the products she selected for me and let me know how they interacted with each other.
