This is my 2nd time using Shredsource for shredding documents in my law office. I shopped around and I found their rates to be very competitive. There is one major reason why I use them: I have more important things to do than worry about shredding documents! I called them up last week. Spent a few minutes to schedule. They showed up today and were in and out within 20 minutes. The pickup people handled all of the documents. We didn't need to pick up anything. My excess paper issue is quickly solved without me spending an excess amount of time dealing with it. When the paper stacks up again, I'll be going straight back to Shredsource. read more

I called back and spoke with Sandra, who scheduled the appointment and coordinated the logistics of getting the truck to an off-site location etc. Oliver was the service technician who called to tell me he was on his way and ended up being a half hour EARLY to the site! I have been purging all my old documents the last few weeks and I cringe at the fact that I have to shred them myself. Luckily I found The Shred Source on Yelp and gave them a call. Monique answered my call right away and was extremely friendly and helpful. You can either take your documents to their shredding plant or have the truck come to your house. A big disappointment...called for info regarding making an appt to bring shredding in, left a message and never got a return call. Called them back only to be told that they only do drop offs when their truck returns from its route. Furthermore, their driver was/is on vacation not returning til Wednesday. These people are incredibly rude. After requesting to be contacted by email they incessantly called my phone. They were pushy and needy. After I called them back (to which they didn't answer) I asked them to not contact me again. THEN they start texting me. This is verbatim, "Don't inquire within then buddy." I had an excellent experience with this company! I called them on a Tuesday for onsite shredding and they came to my business on Wednesday inside the scheduled window time. I thought I was going to have to wheel my boxes out to the curb myself where their truck was located (as I have done in the past with other shredding companies). Much to my surprise and convenience the driver/shredding technician brought his cans up the ramp and into my business to be filled up and wheeled them out to his truck. He made many trips back and forth, didn't seem to be bothered by it, and had a great attitude. Everything went without a hitch! I would definitely use their services again and highly recommend them. Think hard before choosing this company!! It Is An Extremely Unreliable Company!!!! Robert (who makes the appointments) is not trustworthy. After making an appointment, a week prior, I called to check in a few days before my IMPORTANT shredding job was to take place. I was then changed from our agreed Thursday appointment to Friday with assurances that it was a better day for them and everything was set. I agreed to the change in day with the knowledge that Robert was aware that this was an important job for me to get done. I was assured that the job was scheduled and all was well. I called the morning of the job around 10:45am and was assured that they would be there but possibly late due to the 2 jobs scheduled ahead of mine (my time window was between 11am-2pm). While waiting for the truck to come do my shredding (approx 70+ banker boxes), Robert called me at 2:01pm on the day of the job, while I was waiting for the truck and told me he had to "Cancel My Job". His reason was, "Things Happen". I had planned for, set aside my time, and put a tremendous amount of effort getting everything ready for shredding truck. It was all important and time sensitive. The Bottom Line: If you really need to get an important job done on time and as promised and planned.....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! read more
