Very few people can say "I love buying a car at a dealership"…read more So many years dealing with pushy salesman and underhanded tricks, I imagine we are all a little traumatized and enter the doors of a dealership with a great deal of trepidation. That's how my wife and I felt when it came to buy our car. After test driving a number of different models, we decided the Acura MDX met our needs, and it didn't need to be newer than 2020. Apparently, many others in this region felt the same way, as these cars seemed to fly off the shelf. The car we test drove in the morning was sold by lunch. Made it difficult to make an informed, rational decision during a purchase process that was already challenging. Fortunately, we hooked up with Anthony. Anthony Cifaldi at Elite Acura might be one of the best salesmen I've met in 40 years of buying cars. Good energy, not push, seemed invested in making sure our needs were met. When we figured out there was no longer a car on their lot that met our desires, he arranged to pick one up from another dealer more than an hour away. When it was time to deal with the licensing, he made it easy. I don't want to buy another car real soon, but if I needed to I would ring up Anthony. One note Acura Mgmt: Stop saying you are going to detail my car. Running a car through a car washer is not detailing. Getting that spill out of carpet in the back would be detailing.

First inspection they did on my car I asked them to plug a tire, which they plugged, if I remember correctly it was a rear tire. Then told me they recommend my front two tires be replaced however the tread on the tires on the front was more than the tread on the rear tires which they just plugged. Made absolutely no sense. Then my next inspection i knew I needed brakes so they replaced the brakes and rotors and it squealed horribly. I didn't notice right away because it was inspected in the fall which quickly became winter and windows were up.. but once the windows were down with better weather I noticed right away. I was told by others it would wear off so I drove it for quite sometime waiting and that, but it never happened. So took it in and was told something got stuck between the brake and rotor which is what caused the noise. So they did replace on their dime, however, the car still makes noises it never made before I took it there. After my last experience I was thinking it was the last time. Then I had a situation where I needed their assistance and. They were not even close to helpful. I was treated rudely when I walked in. Not a single acknowledgement for any of the 3-4 employees standing behind the counter. Not a hey can I help you. Nothing. They just looked at me as if they just saw the president kind of nodding to the owner who came out and didn't want to hear what I had to say. Wanted to chalk every issue up to my battery being old without even taking a look at what o was asking. So needless to say I haven't had one good experience here.

They told me to take it to a repair shop near which was a waste of time because they didn't even check my car properly. i was told by the repair shop that my car was good to go all to have to loose another day of work to take it back in because the check engine light was on AGAINNN. I take it back to the repair shop because pallies once again told me to take it back and the exhaust has leak and timing belt is messed up. The repair shop told pallies whats wrong with the vehicle waiting for them to reply so they can fix the vehicle and pallies replies at the end of day which now is causing me to be without a vehicle all weekend and I travel for work as well being a nursing student which means i can not miss clinical days. I than ask what are they going to do about this and if I could get a vehicle rental or something to cover me until it is fixed since I have been having issues since i drove it off the lot and was told that absolutely nothing can be done. Pallies has been nothing but a problem since I have purchased from and I am paying them every 2 weeks. I recently traded in my RDX and got a TLX, again the customer service I received was great. They fixed one thing but broke another…read more I brought my TL in to have door handle fixed as a part of it had FALLEN OFF. This is my third Acura and, while past vehicles had NO structural problems, this TL has many issues. Acura honors NONE of the defects. Acura owner blogs indicate my issues are common -- cracked dashboard (always garaged) , window lock button cover cracked off, side mirrors no longer adjusts automatically. Either Acura doesn't back up the quality or this dealership charges for what might have been warranteed. I take no comfort in reading other bad reviews from many others -- of Piazza's sales and service. I do take heed. Just wish I'd read them before trying them out in the first place. Thank goodness I haven't bought a car from them! Piazza service had me leave the car but not until they'd ordered and received the part. Then they required many hours as, likely, the door needed to be taken apart. All seemed fine when I picked it up. A few hundred dollars for a repair that should not have been needed. (On a door that is almost never used.) However, months later a back passenger could not open the door from inside -- the childlock was stuck on. Pushing that toggle switch had no effect. My 5 attempts to get a service person to look at it have not yielded the 30 seconds it would take to just let me know if it's a quick fix or would need to be left for hours or overnight. They do not have a single knowledgeable scheduler to triage the repairs for proper time estimates. I do not live near this dealership but my work sometimes takes me nearby. It would be very costly in lost work time to make a trip out -- maybe even twice, as before, should another part be needed. It seemed a small ask to have someone take 30 seconds to evaluate to FIX WHAT THEY BROKE and maybe save me two return trips. I have never had a car repair experience-- from other Acura dealerships or independents -- that couldn't a listen to your issue, look the car over long enough to give a time estimate to return. They have no respect for customers' time and do not even step up to fix what they broke withinimal inconvenience. (Even if they fix for free, which they should, the lost personal or work time plus $5 in costly gas to get there, is of no concern to them.) Plus a big dark smudge on interior upholstery from dirty hands of mechanic. They DO NOT clean the cars -- inside or out after service. You'll get a voucher for a local car wash to do ot on your own (added) time. I've never had such a shoddy, dismissive dealership service experience.pp Good service is any dealerships pathway to the next car sale -- not to mention referrals. This will NOT be where I ever buy a car nor seek any further service. Mine is but one of MANY bad reviews for both sales and service. Be warned. I think my next car will be a Subaru -- highly rated for safety and all dealerships get great reviews.
