New build construction project here. it's been a heck of a process... Jeff and the guys with Action Glass were the best to work with. Showed up, measured, took the time to explain everything and answer all my many questions and made recommendations to help with making decisions. Same with the install. Finally came out to address their failure to install seals andextra fee glass coating which looks like Vaseline has been smeared on glass. 2yrs later and Im moving forward with a different company to replace the glass. read more

I spoke with Jeff Olson, CEO over the phone first on May 15th and was enthusiastic with his approach and pricing. He came out to view the job, and called me with the final estimate. I paid my deposit May 24th. Then nothing. I emailed asking what the timeline was, and received a form email back asking me to call instead. I did, left messages. No answer. Finally last week, I actually got Jeff on the phone and asked why I hadn't heard from him. He said there had been a death in the family. Apologized and said, I need to look up your order and call you right back. Guess what happened? Nothing. No call. It's been a week now. This guy is a SCAM and I'm out my substantial deposit. Don't make the same mistake and call this company. Guess what? I just got a call from Olson, saying my shower doors are ready for install and to get us on the calendar for install. Funny that? I refused to work with him, considering the lack of professionalism thus far, requested my deposit back and he's refused so far. Amazing. read more

Let's start by saying if you are looking for communication, this is not your company. Also, if you are looking for an owner who is willing to try and make things right, this is not your company. Had a pretty simple job of 2 shower glass partitions and 1 tall shower door. First of all, Matt in sales/office, terrible. Doesn't return messages, doesn't return emails and doesn't know how to input correct numbers into their ordering system for Cardinal Glass their supplier. Jeff, the owner, even worse. Doesn't return phone calls, when he does, he just yells into the phone that his normal turnaround is 3 to 4 weeks, which to him means, 21 to 28 "business days". Uhhh, maybe you shouldn't tell people the glass will be installed in 2 to 3 weeks then. Very misleading. When I finally got the glass, 28 days after I ordered and paid for it, the installers were great, but the glass they sent was broken, then they replaced it, and the glass was sent out 1" too big for the space. Again, no communication that the glass was late, damaged, needed to be reordered, and finally it was too big for the space. The good thing with this company is that I was using my own home as a test to see how they would do. I am involved with a large developer that is looking to hire companies to install glass in over 600 units over the next 12 months. Well, after this experience, I don't think so. The only reason there is one star, is the review couldn't be left without one. We had never worked with a glass company before and this one came highly recommended. It was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Long story short, what should have only been 7-10 days for glass, stated clearly on the paperwork, turned into weeks upon weeks, with more excuses than we could count. The owner had been avoiding calls for a status update and when we finally did get him on the phone, not only was he horribly rude and utterly callous but he attempted to start an actual fight over the phone. Who does that?? Stay far far away from this company and if you feel compelled to use them, understand that the owner was the single worst business owner I've ever encountered and will not be truthful, at all, throughout the process. Action Glass was a last minute choice by our contractor. They came and measured for our glass walls, 2 weeks later came and installed the glass walls. Almost immediately the walls leaked, called and they came out to fix. We now have a new leak. I've called twice and no one has returned my phone call. You always have to leave a message, they never answer the phone. They also got glue on the glass that doesn't come off. Try someone else. read more

Wow, these guys at Action Glass are really slow. Our bathroom remodel is done except for the shower glass, so our shower is still unusable. The order was placed 3 weeks ago. Jeff, our contact, does not communicate well - I am always calling him to get an update. We paid 50% upfront which may not have been a smart idea. Lets hope the glass (and Jeff) show up soon. Not happy at all. Stay tuned.... 9/4 - Our shower enclosure was finally installed! Its been 3 weeks and 3 days since we received the final quote. It looks beautiful, a very professional job. But no mention of the delay today. And more importantly, no apology. So it makes me think that my experience is normal for them. 4 stars is "Yay - I'm a fan". I don't feel that way at all. So I give them 3 stars which is A-OK. Customer service & communication need a lot of improvement before I'd recommend them to a friend. read more

It seems like everyone else that has dealt with Action Glass has mentioned they are slow and poor at communicating. I would have to wholeheartedly agree! I ordered glass THREE weeks ago, there was a delay, which I had to call to find out otherwise Jeff would not have called. They are scheduled to be here for install today between 12 and 2. It is now 245, I had to call him finally and he was unapologetic and said they were finishing up somewhere else and would be here sometime soon. That was at 2. Stay tuned.........Ill update on how the install goes. Got a call at 250 from the rudest woman at Action Glass stating that Jeff would be here around 4. That is 4 hours AFTER his scheduled appointment. She acted as though my frustration was inconvenient for her and she barked that they would be here at 4. In case I missed it the first time she said it. That woman has zero people skills. When someone has waited nearly a month and has had to call you each step of the way, you should be nice and happy that you still have the work. That is not how these people feel. I will say that Jeff has been nice each time I have spoke to him, he just doesn't call back or show up when he says. But at least he isn't rude. So far. Ill post again when they get here and get done..... 445, they still aren't here. Jeff called and said that he was missing something for my door and would stop and get it and be right here.... That was at 320 5:00 and he is here. No apologies for being 5 hours late but he did get right to work so hopefully it doesn't take four hours! 6:00 the glass was cut wrong..............Not Jeffs fault but still annoying after the wait. He is getting it rushed and hopes to install it next week. Another full week without the shower functioning. Jeff was very kind the whole time he was here and was irritated that the place made the error. I'll update when the glass finds it way back here...... ps, Jeff did say he will schedule us for the first appointment in the morning when it comes in. Hopefully he stands by that. Well its Monday Jan 5 and I hadn't heard from Jeff by 10 am. I called and he said he was going to call the glass place and see if they had the glass and call me back...........I called him back at 2!!!! They wont have the glass until Wednesday so he said he will install on Thursday between 10-12. That is NOT the first client of his morning so he is another two days late and then not coming at 8am like he said. That is, of course, if he comes Thursday. It will be over one month of waiting if he does show on Thursday. Thursday Jan 8, Jeff came at 9 and put the door in. It looks good, we have some leaking but we have called him so w are hopeful that he will come fix it. He is nice, not great at follow through or communicating though. He has a female assistant that is rude consistently. I probably wouldn't use them again or recommend them due to the poor customer service, the lack of communication and his female assistant. read more

i've been saving up to get this glass shower enclosure for my daughters bathroom for months. and so when i finally saved up enough to get it done my daughters and i we so excited. im a nurse so i work a lot of shifts and i was not able to be ther during delivery and installation of the glass shower enclosure. when I finally got a day off to actually look at the shower enclosure it was so wonderful and exactly what my daughters wanted. but unfortunately there was a huge scrape on the inside of the door. i contacted Action Glass immediately and Jeff told me to wait for a few days to make sure it wasn't silicon or the glass protectant. i ask him how could his colleagues miss such a huge scratch on the door right where yiu can see it? he couldn't give me an answer. just told me to try to scrap off the scratch with a brand new razor and oil as well as told me that i was over the "3 day inspection limit" of returning the door for one that isn't scratched. i explain to him that i work a lot and that i entrusted his glass company with this installation while I had to work but that did not matter as I was past the allotted time to return. nevertheless i tried what he told me to do to no avail. its a scratch and there is nothing I can do about it. i emailed a few times, sent photos, and made numerous calls to the office. Matthew did say he would "send people out to look at it when they are in the area" but its been over two week with no contact so im assuming its a done deal since they were paid in full. it's just disheartening when you work so hard for so long to save up for your daughters bathroom renovation and it doesn't come out how we dreamed. read more

I had a 90 inch sliding glass door with Low E tempered glass installed. This was a replacement for a 30 year old door. Everything was done just right. The price was right too. The installation guys were neat, well groomed and very professional. They even cleaned everything up after the work was done, they brought a vacuum. The Lady in sales made certain all my questions were answered and options explained. She was meticulous in making certain that I was getting exactly what I wanted. I didn't have Low E glass before and I'm amazed at the difference. This door will pay for itself in AC savings in it's lifetime. read more

Took 7 weeks to get our shower door installed !! would have to call and ask for update - Jeff stated waiting on shower handle to come in. Finally told him install shower doors immediately and when the correct handle arrives he can switch it out. Paid half down up front on CC. Once door installed we received a bill stating Paid in Full ? but we never heard from him regarding how we wanted to pay balance ?? he just went ahead and used our CC without our authorization !! We had wanted to pay balance in cash. When I called him about they used our CC without authorization or contacting us - he said thats what we always do - seriously !!!! when I asked about the handle he said I thought you cancelled that - seriously !!!! Then he said it was discontinued ?? not once did he call to explain or tell me anything . I must say the guys who installed the shower door were very good at there job though. Jeff needs some lessons on customer service and running a business ! would not recommend. read more

OMG! Jeff and his staff haven't changed....Still providing poor quality service, at outrageous cost! My "bid" appointment cost me $500.00 just to get a quote! Then, they lost my order! I called several times trying to get the confirmation from the secretary. Finally, they took my order again. Then it took several weeks to arrive, not just 2 weeks. THEN, the glass was measured incorrectly and didn't fit along the walls, so I have 1/2" gaps on every side and underneath the fixed panels!! THEN, they swapped the side to hang the door from and put it 12" from my bathroom door, so that the 2 doors can bang into each other! THEN, they charged me for the "top rail" because they said I could not have a frame-less shower if I wanted the door on the left hand side, BUT when he came, oh no, Jeff insisted that I change it to a right side door! THUS, I've paid for an expensive "top rail" to hang it all on that I didn't need to pay for! PLUS I get to look at tons of lovely 1/2" thick silicone everywhere because these idiots have never heard of a "U channel" or cutting glass "out of square". Duh! The man who measured it said they would cut it out of square to be flush with the wall, and bottom, but no one put that in the order! These IDIOTS will waste your hard earned money! read more

We had an appointment to install shower glass between 9 and 11 am. Jeff and his assistant showed up close to 1 pm. They mounted the glass to one side of the ledge as requested, but it was totally crooked compared to the wall. Jeff said it was the tiler's fault, which it very well may have been, but I was In the kitchen 20 ft away, and if he had showed me this before attaching the glass, I would have had them mount it in the middle of the ledge where the misalignment would be less apparent. I asked Jeff to move the glass, but he was not willing to do that. First he claimed that the silicone would leave marks on the tiles that could not be removed, which our tiler denied Then he agreed to do it in two weeks when the silicone had hardened.He did not have his appointment book with him at the time, so he would phone me back later to set it up. No call so far, I think I will leave things the way they are, it is not worth this amount of argument. I must say that I am totally disappointed that our beautifully renovated walk-in shower now looks like crap because the $1,200 piece of glass is not parallel to the wall. Cannot recommend these guys. read more
