This small café is located just a few minutes' walk from the Fulham Broadway tube station, in an area with a number of other cafés and restaurants. It's a small space with a few tables inside and a few tables outside; I imagine it gets harder to get a table during prime brunch/lunch hours, but I was able to snag a table outside on a Saturday morning around 9 AM. There were a few customers having their coffee there, but most customers seemed to order takeaway. I got the scrambled eggs with toast and avocado and a small latte. The food came out fairly quickly and was a generous portion and well presented. The latte was great. The tables outside weren't terribly clean, as there were crumbs left over from the previous person, but it wasn't a big deal and was easy to mop up quickly. For an area with so many Antipodeans, there is not much in the way of excellent coffee in Fulham. Perhaps that's changing, because Shot Espresso makes one of the best espressos in London. Don't be turned away if coffee is not your thing, or if real Italian-style, thick hot-chocolate doesn't do it for you - this is some of the best "here made" food around. There are Italian sandwiches, hot food, and delicious cakes made from the finest ingredients to temp any foodie. And if you'd like a drink, you'll find that too. Perhaps quality food and drink is not enough for you, perhaps you value the friendliness of baristas, or the attention to detail in a café's decoration, or maybe it's just "the vibe" you're looking for -- in any case you won't be disappointed here. read more

I love this little place, I would live here if I could. It's a tiny little Italian café with gorgeous pastries and quiches and most of all, aperol. It's situated on a little cobbled street so I've spent many an evening sat outside in the sun, feeling like I'm on holiday rather than 2 minutes from my front door. Aperol spritz is popular (and very well made) here so it's rare to walk past without the whole outside area full of bright orange wine glasses. They do aperetivo too, sooo worth the visit. There's a (very) small charge I think (not fully sure as it's always just included in the bill with your drink) but it's no more than about £1-2 per person, and the food is all you can eat and really gorgeous, fresh and flavoursome. There is only a small outside seating area so you may have to be patient, but it's worth the wait and if the weather's nice it's just as pleasant standing. Shot is linked to Ice and Slice over the road too, who do Pizza and Gelato and is another of my fave places. A really lovely combo of cafes. read more

Fantastic service, great breakfast food, delicious lattes. This was our go to place for breakfast during our stay nearby.

The barristas are the best I've encountered. They remember your orders and even your name. Mike the owner cares and gets his hands dirty. Apparently they have a restaurant in Parsons Green too, which I am keen to check out. read more

Fast service, good staff and great coffee. I only came here twice while in Fulham, but both times were excellent and took me to Flat White heaven. It's an intimate shop on a quiet side street but not so far from the beaten track as to be not worth the trip. There is a broad selection of treats to accompany your coffee and outdoor seating. Definitely worth the trip. read more

Haven't had any of the food options here but the atmosphere was cosy and the coffee delicious!

I have supported this cafe since the moment it opened. Food is ordinary but the coffee is very good and the staff are outstanding. Today I was exposed to management and it was not good. At 5pm I sat at a table six feet away from a 50ish man in full fake army uniform and sunglasses. I thought nothing of it. It was the last spot in the sun on a cold September afternoon. As soon as I sat down I was sure he was staring at me behind ifrom behind his Iimpenetrable blue sunglasses. He then appeared to take photos of me with his phone. I heard the shutter sound. I asked him to stop the photos and take off his glasses. He told me to shut up and continued to say this. I went to the counter and described this to a staff member and explained that I felt seriously uncomfortable. She said she would call the building security. Security never arrived and in the end I persuaded the man to leave. Seconds later, the cafe's manager approached. I told him it was a bit late. He then told me it was my word against the man's. And he could never ask a customer to move or leave. I asked why he didn't turn up earlier. No response. I asked what he would have done if he turned up earlier. He said "nothing" as it was my word against his. No attempt to negotiate. He repeated over and over it was my problem nothing he would do. I burst into tears. A staff member brought me a glass of water. I composed myselfand walked towards the exit. Manger was sitting there with a laptop. I sat down to talk. He said I should haves moved. I said why do women have to move away from abuse. He said, I'm gay, l don't get the women thing!!!!!! Your choice...., Lynne read more

Never ever get eggs - they microwave cook them, so eggs are inedible. Go just for coffee.

I must say that I am a big coffee lover and for years I've never found the perfect latte. I'm very particular with how coffee tastes and looks, it's all about the pour and obviously good coffee. Let me just tell you now, shot espresso has the BEST coffee I've ever ever tried, it's sooo good and I have recommended everyone to it- don't miss out- they will expand in the future and I hope they become the biggest in London. They deserve it. I live in Kingston upon Thames and we don't have shot espresso... so guess what I do... I wait until I get to Fulham and get my morning coffee... does that not tell you how good there coffee is????!!! Enjoy it guys. It's worth every Penny!!! read more

Avoid Shot Espresso by all means!!! As a local, this used to be my favourite café until arrogance kicked in! A staff refused to give me a double espresso to go one morning. He simply said: 'It's not worth-it for me to prepare it if you drink it away. Honestly, this is not a joke! As a loyal customer, I was too shocked to even react. But worse, he did confirm that he wasn't joking and again he repeated it: 'It's not worth-it' For no apparent reason whatsoever. Try asking for an espresso to take away yourself without telling him this story, i'll be curious if he'll say something else. His face happened to be featured on their official website. But whether they realised their odd shit service, especially to a loyal customer, sadly they have lost not just one as I have asked all of my local friends to avoid this place. Perhaps these people at Shot Espresso became too deluded from the praises they get for their coffee that they think they are invincible, and therefore they can afford to be arrogant.
