    Crab Soup with no crab
    Renia S.

I went to Shore's last Saturday and I got the crab soup and it didn't have no crab meat in the soup at all it was watery and had nothing but vegetables in it. I been coming here for over 10 years and I never had a bad experience here. I always get the catfish nuggets with steam broccoli and potato salad that will be my last time every getting the crab soup and then they have a nerve to say on the menu if you want ex crab meat you have to pay for it. I didn't even have no crab meat in my soup at all ‍‍‍ to begin with.

Baby that fish is 5 star for sure. But the customer service is crappy .... The girl on the register always seems to have an attitude. Lines here always side to it being amazing .... Today I tried the potato salad as a side it was horrible. This is a must go stand to hit for fresh fish and fried shrimp. They're gonna filet your fish and fry it while u wait. Takes about 25 minutes so walk around and spend more money like I did.

The best crab dip in Baltimore! I go here at least once a week. Don't judge me lol! But their crab dip is amazing!!! Among other things! Their jumbo shrimp is great. I always get extra cocktail sauce. And they have a crab cake wrap that's delicious!! The large size is pictured and comes with two bags of chips. I recommend the large!

If you are ever in Baltimore and looking for good seafood , at a reasonable price this is the spot for you. It's located in the North East Market which is set up like a mall with various food vendors and even bargain flea market type vendors. They offer lunch specials which comes up to $9.95 including tax. I ordered the bluefish special with coleslaw and fries, the fish was fried to perfection and humongous I literally could not finish both pieces in one sitting. The crinkle fries were good not overly greasy, the coleslaw was some of the best I've had in a while omg. The wait was about 30 minutes but for the freshness of the food it was well worth it.

Fast. Healthy options. Competitive prices. Right inside Northeast Market. Butter mmm!

2pc. Lake Trout with french fries for $10. Hot, fresh, and tasty. Worth the wait.

Located in Northeast Market. This market is a renovated and smaller version of Lexington Market. Metered parking lot and street parking. Lunch time can be very hectic. Same environment with a mix of JH employees and patients. A man was selling crabmeat in front of my car. Yes, crabmeat. Anyway, Shore's is a fresh seafood stall who sells cooked food as well. The seafood is fresh and the prices aren't too high. Family owned for decades. The food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait. The offer clams, crabcakes, shrimp, salmon, lake trout, etc. The main seafood entrees are good, but their side dishes are a miss...except for the french fries. They lack flavor. *When I'm in the area and don't feel like cooking, I stop by here. I only get fish or crabcakes and prepare my sides at home.

Shore Seafood is a stall in the Northeast Market. Shore sells seafood both ways - raw and cooked. Whatever you get, though, it will be fresh. Shore is probably my single favorite destination for seafood in Baltimore. I love the Northeast Market in the first place, because of the mix of prepared and unprepared foods they offer. Most people go there to get lunch from Hopkins or the neighborhood, but like the area (Hopkins aside) the food is not upscale. Shore, for example, offers fresh fish dishes fried or steamed. Many of the fish they use in these dishes are taken straight off the ice from the retail corner of the stall , filleted, and cooked. I've had the rockfish this way several times, steamed with a mix of broccoli and cauliflower and served with drawn butter. Very simple but incredibly good because the fish is fresh! I haven't tried the soups or the fried fish. On the retail side, Shore offers lots of fish you can't get elsewhere, certainly not in the grocery. In addition to rockfish mentioned above, I've seen porgies, Spanish mackeral, bluegills, steakfish, lake trout, oyster trout, white perch, and salmon... as well as mussels and clams, and there are others that I know I have forgotten. They're great at describing the fish and how you might cook them, and they'll fillet them for you at the stall. I think that they often have oysters, too, and crab meat, but I'm not sure about whole crabs. And the prices on the seafood are very reasonable! There may be other seafood markets like this in Baltimore, but I really like the combination of freshness and salt-of-the-earth ambiance at Shore Seafood.

Driving Southeast, my boyfriend and I had to try some of Maryland's seafood, crab cakes included. A Yelp search took us to Shore Seafood. When we got to our destination, I was confused. It wasn't a restaurant but a marketplace called Northeast Market. What an incredible surprise! Not only was it thriving with various vendors ranging from seafood to meat to baked goods, but the customers were informative. We ordered jumbo shrrimp and crab cakes. The shrimp were crispy, extremely well-seasoned jumbo nuggets of deliciousness. And, the crab cakes? All worth the detour from I95 - again, a well-seasoned, crunchy exterior w/large lump meat. Wow! What a find!

(09/05/2013) One of the longtime and popular stalwarts of the Northeast Market. Great for a stop by the raw bar, traditional Maryland and Cream of Crab soups and seafood pretty much any way you want it. If you need some fresh local seafood to take home, they've got you covered. Don't be put off by the gruff guys, they know their fish.

When you get there, you're sure to be met with security guards, some with or without bullet proof vests. There are people lingering/ loitering outside for various reasons, particularly in the summer. Some are hacking, selling "things", and waiting for people to leave the store to ask them if they need help with their groceries. One of the reasons people will need help with their groceries is because the carts cannot exit beyond the cement pillars. So, if someone is shopping by themselves and has bags that would require more than one trip to the vehicle. They would have to leave their cart and get their vehicle or ask someone for help which can lead to a number of other issues. These options are a major safety concern particularly for women shopping alone. Food Depot a good place to get staples and a few things when you don't have time to travel to your favorite stores. The quality of the fish varies. I have seen fish displayed that have obviously decayed beyond an acceptable amount of time and was destined for the trash weeks prior. If you go on a good day, you can get great quality wild caught fish which is a bonus for those looking for a relatively good price. The fish mongers are the professional and knowledgeable. This department is the primary reason I go to the store. The Hot foods section looks unappetizing and unhealthy. I had a horrible experience with a cashier who was the only lane open for people with more than 20 items. I have vision issues beyond the need to wear glasses and I was barely able to make out on the screen that she charged me twice for onion rings; however, I only had one bag. she grabbed another bag of chips and asked me if I could see this bag (which she held in her hand) and asked me if I could see this bag up there (on the screen) I said no. She said, " that's because the other bag of chips could not scan so, I scanned the onion rings twice. That cashier needs training, she didn't have to ask me if I saw this bag on the screen. She should have simply explained one bag couldn't scan so I scanned this one twice. That was insulting, and disability (vision) harassment. I paid and left, without the intent to return. When you check out, you'll see vendors along the wall selling T-shirts, hats, perfumes, etc. that section makes the store look like a flea market. And, then you see the broken glass exit door, which makes you wonder what happened here. Then, the cycle begins again, people with various purposes are waiting outside. It's a shame, food depot could be better if they had better customer service, management and removed the riff raff. This type of experiences is one, if not the only reason I spend/ grocery shop only in the county. I have been trying to spend money in urban communities, however, experiences like this make it difficult.

We were kind of expecting a small crowd, but we were the only people in the entire restaurant. There is no fountain drinks, only canned soda. There's no waitress. You take your order on the kiosk and then pay and sit and wait. There's no utensils given. Everything is self served We actually came for burgers, but the seafood boil caught my eye because two meat options were only around $40 .really kind of seemed like a good deal. The cheeseburger was a little bit underwhelming. boyfriend didn't even want to eat it because it "wasn't worth the calories." The chicken sandwich on the other hand got devoured. My crab boil. Devoured. We also got some fries and mozzarella sticks. I definitely rate this place a solid 7.3/10 All of the food aside from the burger was actually amazing and I would definitely go for the seafood boil alone. that lady in the kitchen knows what she's doing back there. The mozzarella sticks were really good highly recommend. For the crab boil, the crab clusters i received were big and juicy full of meat! Even without getting sides, you still get corn and potatoes. I got broccoli with mine and it was really delicious. I didn't realize that you had to pay extra to get the metal utensils to crack them open. I used the plastic fork provided at the utensil counter and my hands and I was able to get the meat out perfectly fine with very minimal struggle. Ask for the service it was OK. not very friendly. The girl at the front desk was on her phone on FaceTime the entire time that we were there and kind of seemed annoyed like we were bothering her whenever we asked questions or want drinks, dessert, etc..She was even like spraying the table and cleaning the counters with one hand holding the other hand up on FaceTime. My recommendation for this place would definitely be and a fountain drink machine possibly have a hostess seat guests ,Bring a roll of utinsils and do refills. I feel like that's really big for people if you're going inside to enjoy a meal to sit down. Also maybe smile or sum idk
