Shore Good's donuts are very good! They have fun flavors to choose from and the donuts are super fresh (and still warm) when you order them. The inside out Boston cream was great! They are made to order, so if there is a line or a big order, be prepared to wait a little. They also have ice cream and coffee on the menu.

It was a wonderful Sunday morning and had this placed planned. Great Donut shop, magnificent verity of donuts, and the service was good as well.

Oh man this place is a classic; delicious, fresh, and really perfect for a sweet tooth craving. It gets busy but always keeps it moving, friendly staff and clean shop all around. Always a part of our summer!

My daughter raves about Shore good donuts, as matter of fact she liked them better than the grand daddy of all donut shops....Peter Pan in Brooklyn- Bet We were in the area for a wedding so I told her we would buy some and give them a shot. You hit the counter and order what kind of donuts you want. They have a large variety and add the toppings once you order. The donuts were freshly fried and topped. The machine they use to fry the donuts is worth the trip. The machine automatically drops the batter into the fryer, moves it through and drops it into a cooling bowl....very neat. The donut is then topped with whatever is called for and boxed. The donuts were solid but honestly they are not anything I would go out of my way for. Peter Pan is definitely better and I would go as far as to say that Battleview orchards produces a better sugar donut. Donuts are Approx $2 a piece. If you are in the area, give them a chance and let us know what you think. The store also doubles as an ice cream shop that serves Turkey Hill ice cream if memory serves me correct.

Even made it home without scarfing them.

I'll make this one simple. Needed breakfast and coffee. Was coming back from Farias and the sign was finally flashing OPEN. Great customer service. Damn good coffee. We went with key lime pie and strawberry shortcake. Easy on the eyes and tasted oh so sweet n fresh. Proud of myself for showing enough discipline to stick with just one. Could have easily done 3 or 4. The jelly and boston cream were speaking to me. I said Next time I gotchu cuz I talk back to donuts.

Stopped by on the way to the beach just to check it out. They had so many lovely flavors, we just had to try... 4. These were the best donuts you will ever have. Fried to perfection and they are so moist on the inside. I hadn't had them before and I have been going to LBI for a few years. I absolutely was missing out and will now never return without a trip to good shore donuts. We had the cinnamon and sugar, maple bacon, s'mores and to round them out a seasonal pumpkin. Our ranking: maple bacon, 1. Cinnamon sugar, 2. Pumpkin, 3. S'mores, 4. Give them a visit, get a to go counter and get yourself on the beach with shore good donuts.

They have a great Jelly Donut with delicious filling. I liked that they had a great amount of powder sugar on it so it got messy eating eat. The Glazed however was soggy from the melted glaze. The counter person got a bit annoyed when I asked one to many question for her

They're good, warm, nice toppings but def not the deliciousness I thought they would be. Nice customer service, the line moves quickly, fair prices. I saw a lot of people get ice cream which we did not, maybe we will try that next time. You should see for yourself

Good donuts, but very expensive and the tinted windows from the outside make it look closed and dark all of the time.

However, I've developed gluten intolerance and it's hard to find places that offer options that accommodate celiac and gluten sensitive folks. I found that Surfside offered gluten free bagels and wanted to give a pork roll, egg, and cheese with salt, pepper, and ketchup. I was worried they wouldn't have any since I came late into off-season, but luckily they had plain and everything as bagel options. We took two orders of PREC w/ SPK - one on a GF everything bagel, one on a GF plain bagel. The GF bagels tasted almost like sandwich buns, but overall the breakfast bagel hit the spot without causing any terrible reactions. The everything bagel's seasoning definitely made it more subtle of the fact that it was gluten free. There's no seating at this place so it's more grab and go. They also offer coffee but I didn't opt for any. What's nice about the inside are the cool gift items they offer as well as the literal surf shop ambiance -- felt almost as if you were inside a shop in Hawaii. Price is premium in general on the island. There was a $4 upcharge for gluten free bagels so altogether we paid an extra $8. Total was around $25, but again during off season, we feel for the business as things start to slow down. Happy to support island businesses as long as the service is friendly and the food is great! Will give Surfside another chance next summer!

They also have a small grocery section with organic and higher-end items, fresh salads made in-house, a deli, and even a grill. I came here this morning and ordered a cheesesteak with fries. The portion of fries was huge--honestly enough to feed a family of four. I was glad I had someone to share with, but keep that in mind if you order. The cheesesteak itself was just okay. The bread was good, but overall it lacked flavor. Personally, I wouldn't come back here for a cheesesteak, especially since there's another spot on the island that does them really well for half the price. I also grabbed a cold-pressed juice from the fridge. None of the drinks are marked with prices, so I didn't find out until the register that it was $7. A bit of sticker shock considering you could find something similar at a grocery store for about half that. That said, I'd absolutely come back for their coffee and pastries. They're delicious and feel special. I may just skip the deli/grill next time.

A fantastic choice for coffee and snacks take-away…read more A bit inconspicuous, except for the giant "espresso bar" sign on the roof, this is a small little joint that's ideal to pop in and out of on your way from here to there on LBI ... or as a quick jaunt in the morning if you happen to be staying nearby. The service is swift, though the design makes ordering impersonal and a touch awkward. While the staff are working in a central pit of sorts surrounded by the artists' tools, as it were, the ordering ipads are in the back right. A quick hello and you're scrolling through menus exploring your (extensive) options. Pretty easy ... but maybe a little awkward give you have to walk by the staff and then turn around and loiter somewhere in the square surrounding the pit until you get your stuff. Seating is minimal. There are a few stools by the window making it POSSIBLE to drink you coffee or eat your food there, but clearly sending visitors a recommendation not to. Drawbacks aside, the coffee really is VERY good and they've got some interesting options if you'd like to experiment. Both the espresso with cold foam and strawberry matcha drinks were top picks for our family. Bottom line: you won't be disappointed.

Do NOT sleep on Big Dipper Ice Cream! This place blew my mind with the amount of ice cream flavors…read morethey had to offer. I made the mistake of coming here solo and then having to call hubby to read to him alllll the flavors because I couldn't dare do that for him. One flavor sounds better than the next - strawberry cheese cake - what?! Moosetracks? Yeah, i'm gonna need that too! Then they trip you up with toppings! Too many decisions! I'm on vacation! I opted to get two scoops for each of us because no one walks outta here with just one. I got the strawberry cheesecake and moosetracks - a deadly sinful combo, while I got for hubby pistachio and cookies n' cream. We didn't come up for air while eating these! I found these flavors to be far superior to Ship Bottom Ice Cream - yes - I said it! There's a reason why everyone comes here as soon as the sun comes down. It's a great little family establishment with the hardest working teenagers and young adults I've ever seen. Sit on the benches outside or drive back to your beach rental and enjoy while watching the sunset. HUGE fan!

This is our go to!! I love the coconut icecream with rainbow sprinkles and get it everytime. HUGE Generous portions and toppings!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they put sprinkles at the bottom of the cup before your ice-cream is scooped to ensure you get sprinkles in every bite! This is a key differentiator that will bring me back every time!! With this "small size" barely anyone is able to finish it...they say it's two scoops but you know no scoop like the Big Dipper...it does live up to its name! If you ever saw the movie Uncle Buck the best way to describe the portions if you imagine how it was when uncle buck has to "eat and finish the grizzle" for the steak eating competition and it's nearly impossible! I used to get a lid and would save 1/2 in our freezer when we were staying in Harvey cedars but now we are further away so that's no longer an option. TIP: After several years of ordering the "small" (which is anything but small) I noticed they have a "Little Dipper single scoop" option and went this route this time without whipcream or the cherry...which was a smart choice...as it was still a generous portion but I was able to finish it this time! Before, I felt like I was often unable to finish the "small" and felt bad throwing out 1/2 the ice-cream...every time...there's so much wasted. One time I told my son to just give me his mint chip before he threw it out because it's really a big enough portion for two to share. If I was having a birthday on the island I'd like to have an ice-cream cake from here bc Johnny's cakes look like the best ice-cream cakes I've ever seen outside of cold stone creamery. I'm always blown away at the people who order anything other than a small or even the banana splits which offer a ridiculous and obscene amount of dessert. The milk shakes also look amazing if you're into them. The only heads up I'd say is if you have a peanut allergy be careful because I did wind up with a few Reeces pieces in my topping which was actually a nice surprise/accident for me but might not be for everybody esp if you have an allergy. Kids bring your quarters! One other watch out: If you get a blue gum-ball make sure it's the cerulean lighter blue color vs the dark royal blue so you don't get your hopes up about getting a free ice-cream as was the case for us! The staff is always kind even though they have a huge line! No shirt, no shoes is no problem! However the floor is sooo gross and sticky I'd highly recommend wearing footwear!
