While on the beach, I went into the app and placed an order for my go to strawberry banana smoothie and a few other things and I assumed the app selected the "closest location to me" which was down the block in surf city but NOPE my order was sent to Beach Haven (a 30 minutes drive down the road). When I realized I sent the order to the wrong location and didn't have my car the girl said "no problem, we can still make it for you." She called the other location and informed them of the accommodation and made my order without hassle. No exchanging of money or refunding and repurchasing to ensure the store had the right till. I didn't have to spend extra or tip again. Just showed my order and they made it on the spot. I truly appreciated the ease and convenience and fact that I didn't throw away $50!! Thank you surf city staff for making the customer not feel like a criminal and doing the right thing with the customer is always right approach! While I do have to give the barrel props on its ambiance, music, and location (as it is in the heart of my childhood hometown) I do recommend scanning over ingredients to make sure they are at the peak freshness, stocking the fridge with more grab and goes (maybe some pasta salad, wraps, or even sandwiches). I look forward to reviewing the barrel again and hope I can see improvements!
