We've gone into Barrel Surf a few times this summer on the way to the beach. The staff is always so friendly! I like that they offer healthy options for food, however we really miss the ability to order a normal sub sandwich for the beach. It is set up pretty differently from the Island Market that used to be here. The coffee they serve here is really good though and I believe they do still have bagels in the mornings. We will continue to stop in from time to time for their coffee and things like Gatorade.

Looking forward to see this place grow! Got 3 orders of avocado toast for pickup to bring home. Food had lots of flavor and is visually appealing. There is no inside seating, but lots of outdoor options. It took a little longer to get our order, even after showing up after the specified time given on the phone. Good addition to LBI food scene!

Adorable cafe. Loved that they offer pumpkin spice oat milk on the side, for no extra charge. I'm sensitive to milk and some places don't have dairy free flavored options. The food looks fresh too!

Dawn Patrol sandwich- egg, bacon, arugula and lemon poppy aioli on sourdough-great breakfast sandwich.

Food is fantastic! Staff are friendly and attentive and the ambiance is perfect for a beach cafe. Great to grab breakfast or lunch to toss in cooler and head to the beach for the day.

Cool vibe, great coffee and best of all they have pumpkin spice oat milk for your cold brew or hot coffee! Happy Fall, I added the pumpkin oat milk to my nitro coffee .

Both the service and food is top notch. Best breakfast place I've found in LBI so far.

I'd like to tell you to stay away. To go and choose another spot. To completely avoid this place…read more Why! Because it was simply the best experience I've had with Korean food and personnel since I've started trying out this cuisine type over the past year. I was joined by my friend who ordered the bulgogi beef (which I did not get the opportunity to taste because it was so good he forgot to offer me a try) as well as a kimbap(?) as an appetizer. I tried a piece of the app and it was scrumptious. He said his entree was spicy but ok the best way. He was content with the portion, the taste, and the plating. I did warn him that most folks who come here do end up needing to bring food home. Boy, was that right. So, be kind and bring your own container(s) so you can delight in your leftovers another day. They do have takeout containers but they do not offer take out. You must dine in. So, please do keep this in mind when coming here. It makes sense because otherwise the transit time to take it offsite to eat your meal elsewhere is just not the same to get the full experience they are giving here along with their culinary expertise. The food came out fresh and with a little bit of wait. Patience may be required but it's so worth the wait. What did I have you are asking ? Well, my first ever japchae. Non-spicy option for me. The way the noodles were, I can't describe it. It's a whole fun experience on top of the goodness of the dish. The place has some modest touches to let you know what sort of cuisine they serve. There is a kimbap (?) bar area and a few tables. I imagine it can fill up quickly at lunch or dinner. I highly suggest arriving early to ensure you don't feel rushed. Definitely support this restaurant, make sure it has a longevity they deserve and continue to educate us - ok me- on the deliciousness of Korean cuisine. Of course, I took home my meal leftovers. And I enjoyed them the next day. The parking is easy and free at the Cardiff plaza.

The smells are authentic, but that's all we experienced…read more We arrived and were never greeted. The mom & pop operation is a little overwhelmed as we had to seat ourselves. The 'mom' did drop some chopsticks off at our table, but I'm pretty sure she didn't say a word to us. As we waited for her to return to take our order, we were disappointed when she said that she had to wait to take our order until another table did. At that point, we decided to leave. I want this place to be successful. There aren't many Korean options in this part of south Jersey. Please do better.

Holy Smoke & Fuego! A highly recommended incredibly romantic and delicious experience!…read more We missed a class in November and had a credit pending so we waited 9 months for a similar class to come up and this was it. Saturday August 4th - Raspberry vinaigrette salad, Lamp lollipops, Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, Lobster tail and mushroom risotto. I had to have it. They made drinks, appetizers and dessert pre prepped for us. Our main instructor Chef Christina was incredibly sarcastic and witty. There was a couple that was annoying AF (but this is Atlantic City what can you expect) so she had to continuously say, "if you're still LISTENING." I'm sure it gets frustrating for a professional team so if you're signing up for a COOKING CLASS be sure you're ready to LEARN to cook. Ignore the momo's. Chef Vincenzo is straight out of Italy and will teach you right at your table if you're not prepping properly which I enjoyed incredibly so be sure to make some mistakes! The class was so much fun and the food was delicious. They gave us a packet with all of the recipes and we got to keep the aprons. Can't wait to come back!

If I could give this experience 6 stars I would…read more I have always passed by the beautiful Viking cooking school any time I stayed or visited Harrahs and always wished I had made prior plans to try it out (classes book fully in advance, so by the time you are there only if your super lucky will you get a spot) for our anniversary we decided to plan way ahead and attend the 11/19/18 class. If you are a group of two, you will be placed with another group of two. Groups of four were together. This gave us a chance to chat and get to know another couple which was really cool. There is a welcome cocktail, but besides that only wine with dinner as a safety precaution - fire, sharp knives and intoxication probably don't go so well together. As we entered the kitchen, we were welcomed with a cocktail and a pre made app to munch on (think crackers and a home made dip or bruschetta) then we went over the menu and started prepping. Everyone was SO nice. Any questions or curiosity's were answered. Great sense of humor, we laughed and joked through out the whole evening. Only criticism I have, would be them having a bit more ingredients to work with. For instance the app was a pepper salad, so there were two peppers for the four of us. Shallots were called for in our smoked mushroom bisque and there was only one shallot. We worked it out well because we became friends with our partnered couple - but I could see this being harder if people or couples prefer to work to themselves. Overall the experience was out of this world. Something that I rave about to everyone.l and can't wait to try again. They also mentioned that they do private party's of groups 12-16! This would be a blast with a group.
