    Burnt crumb cake
    L.A. K.

Went in with a friend on our way off the island. Walked in and my friend was greeted by one of the girls working. She was very friendly. The other girl was about to greet the person behind me, but I asked for assistance, as I was ordering too. She had a bit of a chip on her shoulder. Anyway, we both ordered a few things. I got a Bastone, 2 apple fritters and a piece of crumb cake. Brought them back home for treats for my family. The bread was very good and the apple fritters were the best we've ever had. The crumb cake was very disappointing. The whole bottom was burnt. Had to throw it out because of the bitter taste. Would stop in for the fritters again.

Cannoli lil guy for $2.50. Lightest and fluffiest one bite pastry on earth.

This jelly powdered donut you should only have once or twice a year. It's that special. It's that good. Don't abuse the privilege if you live close to this bakery. Just buy a dozen for friends or something so you at least can look at them throughout the summer. Still you should frequent this bakery weekly for pork roll egg and cheese sammies, turkey and cheese is as simple as it reads but it's solid, stuffed breads yes !! , cakes yes !! And the enormous elephant ears. I picked up a cannoli filled puff lil guy for $2.50. Get those !! Bring cash .. they don't take cards but I think they have an atm.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich on a Sunday. It was relatively busy but they got our food out to us within five minutes. My boyfriend and I both got pork roll, egg, and cheese on rolls. Unfortunately they were out of bagels. However, the sandwiches were still very good and cured our hunger. We also split a chocolate icing donut which was tasty. I would definitely come back

Ferraras is easily my favorite spot in LBI. I came here once for breakfast sandwiches and instantly fell in love. Their donut display is out of this world. They have absolutely everything you can think of, custard, lemon filled, banana cream, strawberry cream, cannoli, Nutella and yes quite literally the best jelly donuts ever. As advertised. They have a nice sized parking lot on the side and a ton of street parking available. Even when there's a line out the door (which there normally is) I'm able to easily find a spot. When it's busy the girls behind the counter are quick and efficient. Their donuts are super fresh, decadently soft and over filled with all their delicious creations. Having tried quite a few already, I think my favorite is the Boston cream and anything that's custard filled. The dough on the donut is so soft and perfectly cooked while the custard is jam packed and always delicious. Donuts aren't the only star here - breakfast sandwiches! They make the best, my favorite is an egg and mozzarella cheese with ketchup on one of their fresh baked round rolls. The rolls are always perfectly soft, they're one of my favorite breads ever. They also make great sandwiches, I've gotten a turkey and cheese to take to the beach and it was perfect. They're also famous for their stuffed breads which I also tried. The pepperoni and cheese is pretty good. Perfect to slice up and serve as an appetizer or even take to the beach. Come here if you're looking for a great donut, personally my favorite in LBI. Possibly even NJ.

    Their wonderful coffee stand.

The fabulous bakery displays, the friendly service and great tasting bagels and coffee. Will go again.

Cash only! Good donuts and fritters! Had the jelly, fruity pebbles, frosted and apple fritter. Long line but they were pretty quick inside.

Peanut butter and jelly donut was fabulous!

Ran into Ferrara's to get lunch and dessert. Picked their sausage bread and a peanut butter and jelly donut. Got strawberry frosted donuts for the kids. They advised me to heat the sausage bread for 10 minutes and said that it could be done on the grill. I put it on the top rack of the grill on medium and it worked great. Delicious blend of sausage, peppers, onions, and mozzarella cheese. Very tasty! Had the donut later, peanut butter and jelly was decadent. Kids enjoyed their strawberry frosted donuts. Keep in mind, it's cash only.

They have the best Italian bread and rolls on the island. The donuts are truly amazing. Be sure to bring money. It's a cash only business.

I really love this little market on Long Beach Island for what it has to offer. It's super cute,…read morenestled right as you come onto the island, and has a cozy coffee shop with lots of homemade pastries (the homemade Pop-Tarts and cinnamon buns are a must-try!). They also have a small grocery section with organic and higher-end items, fresh salads made in-house, a deli, and even a grill. I came here this morning and ordered a cheesesteak with fries. The portion of fries was huge--honestly enough to feed a family of four. I was glad I had someone to share with, but keep that in mind if you order. The cheesesteak itself was just okay. The bread was good, but overall it lacked flavor. Personally, I wouldn't come back here for a cheesesteak, especially since there's another spot on the island that does them really well for half the price. I also grabbed a cold-pressed juice from the fridge. None of the drinks are marked with prices, so I didn't find out until the register that it was $7. A bit of sticker shock considering you could find something similar at a grocery store for about half that. That said, I'd absolutely come back for their coffee and pastries. They're delicious and feel special. I may just skip the deli/grill next time.
