Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. We loved the Cali steak burrito, HUGE avocado toast, BBYC sandwich, buffalo chicken wrap, and chicken bacon ranch wrap. They also have fresh pastries, fun flavored coffees, and grab-and-go drinks. I was hoping to try the lobster, but they were sold out...definitely going back for it! The ordering setup is a little unusual (separate lines for food and coffee), and you might wait a bit for your food, especially during the busy summer season. But the kid staff is working hard, so relax! We'll keep coming back.

Such a cute spot for breakfast and had a great one a few months back. Really enjoyed our egg…read moresandwiches, quiche, and our lattes - though had to ask for mine to be hotter. And today returned to try dinner! Had a wait about 45minutes for a table of 3 at 7:50p so walked to Neptune Liquor for wine and beer for our BYO dinner here. Enjoyed our drinks sitting out front on the cozy seating area waiting for our table. Menu board out by us helped us decide what to order once we were sat indoors as it would be close to kitchen closing time. Service staff were welcoming and provided glasses and opener for our wine. Son and husband ordered two of the lump crabmeat pasta - huge order with large amounts of crab - looked so pretty and tasted of the sea with chewy pasta. They both enjoyed it with some leftovers to take home. Their food came out first and I ordered the ribeye medium-rare and it came out nearly 10minutes after, plus came out medium well! The garlic mashed potatoes were amazing, but I asked to return the steak fur being overdone. I wish I took a photo because when I googled pics of cooked steak "doneness" to reference and show the server, I wanted to show how overcooked it was. So asked the waitress to return the order - and so had to wait even longer. Imagine our surprise when the steak arrived with an admonishment from the server, "next time order rare because that [previous steak] was cooked medium rare." And what was set down was a "black and blue" steak. Really disappointing and kind of an eff-you to the customer. Not the customer is always right. No apology. Just plain wrong and never returning again.

They were very kind to me here so I give the service 5 stars! Usually I am not overly impressed with the teenagers working at these establishments but this time they went above and beyond due to my error. While on the beach, I went into the app and placed an order for my go to strawberry banana smoothie and a few other things and I assumed the app selected the "closest location to me" which was down the block in surf city but NOPE my order was sent to Beach Haven (a 30 minutes drive down the road). When I realized I sent the order to the wrong location and didn't have my car the girl said "no problem, we can still make it for you." She called the other location and informed them of the accommodation and made my order without hassle. No exchanging of money or refunding and repurchasing to ensure the store had the right till. I didn't have to spend extra or tip again. Just showed my order and they made it on the spot. I truly appreciated the ease and convenience and fact that I didn't throw away $50!! Thank you surf city staff for making the customer not feel like a criminal and doing the right thing with the customer is always right approach! I appreciate the one brand mindset and customer centric approach and it's the consistent quality producer and experiences like this that get you returning customers again and again! I'll be back.

Today i came in and ordered a banana base with almonds, peanut butter, and coco nibs. I received practically nothing. The bowls that everyone at my table ordered were also very melted by the time we sat down to eat. Service here is also generally very slow.
