From the very first…read moreconversation with Matt all the way through the proposal and contract process, everything felt smooth and well organized. Matt was always quick to respond to my many questions (and changes!) and made the whole process so much less stressful. Brian, our foreman, was truly amazing. Since we live three hours away, we had to put a lot of trust in him--and he completely delivered. He sent us updates and photos every night and kept in constant communication with us. He was patient when we needed time to make decisions and always gave helpful, honest advice when we needed it. He's incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of home renovation and we felt like he was always keeping our best interests at heart throughout the renovation. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. At our final walkthrough, he had already caught and planned to address things we hadn't even noticed. Jeremy also did an incredible job with the kitchen tilework (among many other things)--it turned out beautifully. He was always helpful and stepped in anytime Brian wasn't available, which we really appreciated. Overall, MAST was a dream to work with. The whole team made the process easy, and the end result exceeded our expectations. We'd absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.

Yesterday was the 3rd time they were here, to install a new glass doorway to my office. Dave & Jeremy did the job with expertise, didn't leave a speck of dirt and were so very pleasant. I've commissioned Mike twice now. Once back in November to tile my vestibule and again recently to…read moretile my kitchen floor. I've held off leaving a review until he finished my second project because he's a hidden gem. Once people realize how talented he is, you'll have to join a waiting list to hire him. Mike possesses a true mastery of his craft. I know a lot of people that would do a good job as long as there are no surprises. Mike will do an excellent job no matter the circumstances because he's probably seen it before and knows how to fix it. He has the confidence and knowledge to walk into a room and get to work. He's not going to call his manager or google the next step. He is the manager; he is the go-to guy. Secondly, he has a good eye for design too. For my vestibule, I had an idea of what I want. I explained it in my layman's terms and hazy descriptions and he saw what I was envisioning. I didn't need to over-explain it or draw a picture. He just got it. Also, and more importantly, he's honest. He gave me an estimate and stuck to it. That never happens. Anyone else would have charged extra when they discovered the subfloor was rotted, or when they saw a 10 degree slope in the corner. Mike didn't. He stuck to what he said and even fixed a few wall tiles in the kitchen - no charge. Not to mention, his prices are a bargain. People with half his skill, wanted a whole lot more. Lastly, he's a friendly guy. I know it can feel awkward having a stranger in your home. Not with Mike. He's trustworthy, down to earth, and you'll be friends in no time.

A shout out to Marcos for the hard work of the old cabinet removal and new cabinet installation (and cabinet knob install) and raised flooring installation. Clarksville Construction is the WORST contractor I have ever worked with. From day one, the project…read morewas a complete mess. The quality of the work was terrible, filled with mistake after mistake. The job involved a new door installation and the replacement of wood with PVC panels around the bay windows and chimney box--a relatively simple project, one would think. However, it was anything but simple for Clarksville Construction. Find a better contractor and save yourself all these problems. If you know of any, please add them in the comments. Here is a list of some of the problems encountered. * On the first day, the crew did not bring a generator, which caused the circuit breaker to trip repeatedly.  * On the second day, a drill was left on top of the chimney, which was very dangerous. My neighbors noticed it. They also commented that the crew's performance led them to decide not to use Clarksville Construction for their future projects.* I observed that a section of cracked 2x10 wood was used, despite my instructions to the crew not to use such materials. * Communication with the crew was very difficult. I can't imagine how anyone who doesn't speak any Spanish would manage. * The new door did not fit, necessitating the cutting of a section of the wall. * They failed to order a screen door and realized this 4 days into the job. * There were dark marks on the entire chimney siding. Scratches were noticed on the floor in the entryway.  *There were marks on the interior wall next to the door.* A stain was found on the rug. * There was a 1.5-inch gap at the bottom of the chimney box. * The wrong screen door was ordered, delaying delivery by 2 more weeks.* Insulation was not properly installed under the window boxes, resulting in my furnace running continuously. * The crew returned on February 6th, 2026, to address these issues. OVER four and a half months have passed since this project was to be completed. Unbelievably poor, a nightmare, and completely unacceptable!
