I came in to the shop this morning at 8 a.m. to find that they had pre-placed their debris trailer right next to the area to be worked on (proactive...I LIKE that) and when Kyle and his crew showed up (including his 4-legged foreman, Rowdy), they got to work immediately and kept at it until the job was done. I appreciated that because having a large hole in the wall when the wind chill is 20 degrees is darn uncomfortable, but they handled it all beautifully and as quickly as possible. These guys know what they are doing, were kind, courteous and respectful the entire time. We have rented about 10 different properties and all are true to the photos and descriptions. Check-in is easy and keyless, all have WiFi, and I LOVE that linens (sheets, towels) are now included! They always provide a welcome bag with a couple rolls of toilet paper and dishwasher tabs, etc. to get you started. I also love not paying extra fees to third party sites, so we book direct. I attempted to contact the company by phone four separate times to speak with someone regarding my concerns, and no one answered or returned my calls. A business should be accessible to its customers, especially when issues arise. What was most alarming was the conduct of the crew when they arrived at the job site. They entered the parking lot at an unsafe speed and nearly struck two children who were walking through the area. Instead of slowing down and patiently waiting for the children to move, they continued driving in a reckless manner. When I addressed the situation, there was no apology, concern, or acknowledgment of how serious the incident could have been. In addition, the crew caused unnecessary damage by tearing up sections of the yard and left debris behind instead of properly cleaning the work area after the job was completed. Respecting a customer's property should be a basic expectation. Professionalism goes beyond completing the work--it also includes communication, safety, accountability, and leaving a property in good condition. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those standards. I hope the company takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful improvements so future customers do not have a similar experience.
