Two words - LOVE IT. This is the best garden center in the Humble/Kingwood/Atascocita area…read more Kingwood Garden Center is a great locally owned and operated place. They carry a great selection of perennials, annuals, shrubs, trees, vegetable plants and herbs. They also carry a great seed assortment, bird feeding supplies, and plant pots. They often have special events and get local gardening experts to come and give advice. At Christmas, they have really wonderful tree selections and a great ornament and gift selection. I enjoy the facility itself, especially their garden out front that showcases some really nice plants. I also like all the fountain examples they have set up all through the shrub and tree area. I always visit the goldfish in their little tank as well. I have shopped for plants at other garden centers in the area that are much less expensive, but they do not have the quality of plants that Kingwood Garden Center does. I have never been disappointed by a plant or other product that I have gotten there. The staff at Kingwood Garden Center is knowledgeable and very friendly. We generally find we have a good time chatting and shopping there. I can't remember having such good experiences at other places. If you live in the North East area of the metroplex, give the Kingwood Garden Center a try. You will be glad and you'll have a beautiful garden to boot.

I wish I would have gotten their names ... the lady immediately took me to the coolest pots and told me they were 50% off. Meanwhile, the gentleman asked me how I felt about Dahlias. He picked out a beautiful one that fit my pot, and then potted it for me while I was paying. Could not have had a better experience.

When, I called to complain I was shamed for leaving a negative review, instead of first calling them. I thought the retailer should be the one calling me. Especially since I was clear that the bouquet had to include the orchids. Yet I was the one who is remiss in giving a review? Feeling shamed, I revised my review, to a 5 star, which was not honest. After, my dear, sweet cousin, who is 72, and very ill also lied to me, telling me the bouquet is beautiful. Then when I told her I complained she thanked me, and told me she was sorry for lying to me. Sorry here, sorry there. Sorry everywhere. There. This is at least honest now. Sorry, not sorry. Repenting after being shamed by the florist, telling God I'm sorry, and sorry to the florist too. Then, I had to return to God, once again for lying and giving a glowing review. I am one sorry sucker, but boy did I ever get sucker punched, I wonder if God is as cross-eyed, and dizzy as me now. Signed, Too darned old for this stuff.
