Was coming home from a trip up north and decided to stop at Shoots, with the wife, for some fish. Got there about 6:15, knew it would be crowded at this time, and I was right. Only one table for six was open so we sat down and in about 5 min a table for two opened and about that time the waitress came over and I said we could move to that table if she would clear it. She said no problem and cleared it right away, came back and wiped it down and then took our drink order. We both ordered the bluegill when she came back with the drinks. In about 10 min she came with our dinners, this was a surprise because the place was packed, the table we left only a few min later 6 people came and took it. The waitress was really moving and taking orders and serving food. The bluegill was perfect and melted in your mouth, and the breading on it was light and perfect and I could tell these were hand breaded, and the sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked. For being as packed as hey were I watched as orders were taken and dinners coming out they were really fast. Everything there was super great and I would highly recommend Shoots if you want a great fish dinner on Friday and I've been there for lunch on other days and never been disappointed with their food. read more

We went Sunday of St Patrick's Day weekend. Fun atmosphere. Watched the Badgers game and shared a HUGE order of nachos. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious! Friendly bartenders. read more

Very disrespectful and passive aggressive torwards me. I go to enjoy the environment and good company of others since a bar and grill is more about the people rather then the food and drinks. I take a great deal of passion in these environments, as it can be very calming and fun at the same time. Onto the review. Very disrespectful and passive aggressive torwards me since i got a soda at 230ish in the afternoon. Its a work week and i would rather not drink on work days as most people dont. I dont like beer, im a whiskey guy. So the barkeep (shelly) keeps holding off on letting me pay for my drink and the bar is dead mind you, and yet she cant seem to do her job properly. I actually pity her and the other co workers of hers having to deal with such a disrespectful woman. Im a customer, i pay for my order, i get out. Simple right? she kept on trying to buy my own soda in front of the other customers. Very disrespectful and uncalled for. I will not come again, i will go to the other bar located near as they are more Friendly and give better service. You lost a potential future customer. read more

Unique atmosphere with hundreds of tiny lights attached to the ceiling. Lots of TV's but all set to the same station. Had a hamburger and chili for lunch. Hamburger was bland and spongy. Really? Normally, I'd give shoots a high rating for their delicious burgers, and still do. Jus a few minutes ago I called and ordered a 1/3 lb burger for my husband, the woman who too the order was great, and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Within 5 minutes, I called back and got the grill cook. I said I had just ordered a 1/3 lb burger and would like to change it to 1/2 lb. He says, "It's already done." I said the woman who took the order said it would be done in 15 minutes. I asked him to please change it. He told me I'd have to pay for two burgers. I said, "I don't know you, but I'm certain you don't make the rules." He replied "Well, I don't know who you think you are, but if you want me to make it again, you'll have to buy two burgers." If this young man can make a burger in 5 minutes, or less, can't he make two in 15? So much for the customer always being right and giving the customer what they want. read more

The worse service ever! Didn't even get acknowledged after sitting for quite some time. Finally had to ask for a menu. Then the waitress went in the back somewhere for sometime again. She didn't come out with our menus. She went past us again and then came back with the menu not Saying anything. We looked and waited. No one acknowledged us! We Finally walked out. We told the bartender on the way out, no one waited on us. She was not very sympathetic. She just shrugged her shoulders like oh well. She never even said oh I'm so sorry. I stopped for lunch after hearing about how good the burgers are. I had stopped once before in the evening but it was far too busy at night to get food as quickly as I was looking for it at the time. I am happy I tried again. Lunch special was a cheeseburger and small get for 7.75. The burger is a third pound and you get your choice of cheese and onions. I order pepper jack and fried onions and was not disappointed. Good potion of fries came with it, well worth the price. Service was quick and friendly. The owner walked in and was very friendly to everyone in the bar. So was the bartender and the lady cooking in the kitchen. The decor is a dive bar, but it's Suamico's BEST dive bar. Came by with some friends on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I was excited because this was my first time eating there. We got our drinks, and shortly after we ordered our food. A buddy and I went in on a pizza. Thirty minutes later, the server brings out some of the food for our group and tells me and my friend that their pizza oven wasn't on and it would be another 40 minutes to get our food and gave us the option to order something else. I ordered a ham and swiss cheese sandwich with loaded waffle fries. That food came out came out super fast. The problem was there was still some people in our group that didn't receive their food. We then saw other tables getting their food. Eventually everyone go their food, but took longer than expected. I honestly think it was more of an issue with the kitchen then our server. I mean, you didn't have your pizza ovens on? I don't think the cook was paying attention to the orders very well. What also slowed things down was our server was waiting on every table and acting as a bartender. I was under a time crunch and was looking for my bill. I hate being pushy, so I went up to the bar asking to pay my bill. I overheard the server and a bartender talking while sorting the bills. They both sounded stressed and acted like they had no idea what was going. It was a pretty steady crowd , but if you think you're going to be super busy on a Saturday afternoon, maybe you need one more person to specifically wait on the tables. Oh that sandwich I got...meh. Nothing spectacular. Would have really liked to try their pizza. Not sure if I want to take the trip out there for sub par service and food. read more

What a fun little dive bar. We came here to see a band that my friend recommended. The bartender helping us was very kind and helped me pick out a delicious amber ale that they had on tap. They have a popcorn machine which always makes me happy as well. The Christmas lights on the ceiling are super fun too. The only reason for a lack of star is it was dirty. I would like to come back for the burgers $1.50 (Mon & Wed) for them sounds like a steal. read more

Definitely a dive and biker bar, but a fun atmosphere overall. They have Christmas lights hung all year round inside, a great tiki bar area outside with games and tables, the burgers are amazing (great bun, well cooked, and 1/lb of meat) the fries and perfect between thick and thin so they are crispy...all for a great price. I wasn't a fan of the fried mushrooms, nor the pepperoni and onion pizza (tasted like a jacks pizza). read more

What looks questionable from the outside is a false illusion. Step inside and be greeted by some of the best bar servers in the area. They and the other customers will make you their new friends. Very varied menu with their hamburgers and homemade pizza the star attraction. The hamburger is a hearty 1/2#- they also offer a double- ( they do offer take home boxes). In the past couple of weeks they have offered bratwurst- for a quick lunch while on a ride its perfect. Fantastic taste- try one! They are thinking of dropping his from the menu- no room in the coolers- please reconsider this decision. The patio is now operational and greatly improved from last year. Can you think of a better venue to take a break, have a cool one, grab a snack, and listen to great bands. If you haven't stopped in you are missing a fantastic opportunity to have some fun. After a review like this Shooty I hope we can negotiate. Saw the new tables and they look fantastic. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Been there twice and both times they screwed up my orders. First time waited an hour for our food and it was not prepared properly, second time ordered a pizza only to be told 30 minutes later my ticket had been misplaced and had not even been started yet. Best burgers you will find on the west side. A true bar, we carry out instead of dinning in. They don't cheat you on the portion size.

Best burger by far! All around excellent bar food-burgers are the best in the area, loaded fries are a must, pizza is excellent. Don't be scared off by the bikes in the parking lot ;) everyone is welcoming and the food is always consistently great. They do have a $1.50 burger day but i recommend the regular size burgers-the prices are still low compared to the size of the burger-somethings just shouldn't be downsized. read more

I would have to say over all the food was decent. I liked how they had free popcorn to eat while you wait. There was a lot of people swearing very loudly at others. Yeah I get that it is a bar but it's also not necessary. I also thought the music was too loud and I couldn't hear the people I was eating with. read more
