Really good burgers and tater tots. They stay pretty busy and it's not as fast as a drive through but worth the wait.

Love the cool diner feel, inside the gas station. Clean and staff was friendly and on top of it. Great deals. read more

Great little burger joint in a BP gas station? Yep. Totally lived up to the hype. Flame broiled burger. Smell is delicious. Friendly young staff serving a bunch of old timers. I had the BP burger which was way more than I needed. Can't wait to bring the fam back for burgers and their famous malts read more

Great food. Rather slow service. Not much ambiance as it was within a convenience store. But the quality of the food made up for any shortcomings. Kind of out of the way, but well worth the trip! read more

Hidden gem along a country road outside of Green Bay in a GAS STATION!!!! I walked in and there was only a couple tables available, and there was also a stack of to-go orders someone was picking up, so I know I was hitting some kind of gold mine. I ordered the BP burger which was like a Big Mac, and my wife got the Bacon Cheeseburger. Both of us had waffle fries. Total time from order to table: 14m 31s. Initial impression, HUGE. Smell? Like it was charred and came off of a charcoal grill. Fries? Large as well. Impressively large. She had a lot of bacon on hers to boot. Taste? Delicious. Moist, tender, flavorful... this you would never expect from looking at it on the outside. Nevertheless, we're coming back and this is going on my "Saved" list. What a hit! read more

Great portions, great price and great food! Definitely recommend the Friday perch dinners!

Always good food burgers very good, perch plates excellent with HUGE portions. Decent prices also

2 things that Hilltop needs to improve... 1.Being more forward with prices over the phone and being respectful of other's time and money. 2. Making sure everything on the receipt is actually in the bag. Over the last year this place has really gone down in quality and popularity, and it's no secret that people don't come here as often because of the things i listed. I don't recommend it. read more

Amazing burgers. Amazing prices. It's located within a gas station so let's not get nuts regarding the ambiance.. Always polite, friendly staff. Great choice for some great food read more

Great burgers! The buns are just so delicious and patties are made to order. My father said the hilltop burger was still his favorite burger to this day. The fries are crisp and also made to order. The staff are very nice, and when busy, still very patient. It can take a while for the food to be ready but, it's worth the wait. The only thing is I wish there were more seating read more

Great burgers, many to choose from. The fries are really plentiful but my favorite is the onion rings. Some of the best. Friendly people and great service. read more

Read a review, and decided to give it a try, when we got there they had a special, a double cheeseburger, and fries for $7.99. We added a chocolate malt for $5 and i was full. Burgers tasted as if they came off the grill. Excellent, and fast. The place was packed read more

Located inside a gas station, this place is great. I have a friend that lives close by this place and it is near UWGB. Very reasonable prices. Clean. They have a nice little set up for social distancing. Places always draws a large lunch crown. Little noisey inside cuz like I said it is in a gas station. Had to wait awhile for the food. Well worth the wait. Two of my other friends got burgers. They were monsters. I got chicken strips. Very good. I had already taken almost half of the waffle fries off my basket and given them to a friend b4 I remembered to take a photo. But. That little basket I had was around 8 bucks. I added a bottomless soda for another 1.40 I think? Great place. Just be prepared to wait a little while for your phone and it is a little loud. Until the next Yelp! Yes-Steve-O, out. read more

Convenient stop on our way out of Door County (late morning start). Prices can't be beat and did try the Hill Top (brat and hamburger patty) and Mushroom Swiss Burger. Good size burger and got tater tots as a side (also generous). Burger and mushrooms even were a tad heavy on the salty side. Drinks can be purchased as single serving or with refills but come as as a styrofoam cup. (I prefer paper over plastic and foam these days) - Pepsi products at the fountain (Mt. Dew, root beer, ice tea, Diet Dew are the choices I recall). We sat at booths close to the window, so was furthest from the tv which didn't seem too loud (yes, Fox News). Should mix sea and land next time with a Perch sandwich (they also have a Seaburger which I assume is cod). Normally would have ordered fries to test, but we got over-fried during our DC visit. Service was friendly and fast and it felt like the place where locals grabbed lunch and met their friends/neighbors. read more

Amazing food and cheese curds only 1 type but they mastered them. The customer service is good and burger is good. The ambiance was horrible but who cares when the food is good. In my family we do not care about ambiance so that is why this place is 5 stars! read more

Always fantastic, the staff is efficient and friendly and the food is priced right. We go there regularly.

I love this place never knew this place existed until this year. The burgers have always been good the 2 times I've been there. I mean yes the service was a bit slow but the burgers are worth it because it is a hidden gem inside a gas station that serves some phenomenal burgers and cheese curds. I am hoping to find more hidden gem places like this in Green Bay. read more

I never heard of this restaurant until a few days ago and ended up there last night by accident. I heard they had a delicious olive burger which I haven't had since Hot n' Now from years ago! I ordered the olive burger and onion rings, and they were absolutely delicious! Very nice staff too!!! can't wait to go there again and try more of their food. read more

Great little spot for a quick lunch. It's certainly not fine dining but if you want a burger and fries it's the place to go. The prices are great and the food is good it has been my go-to as a college student. read more

Nice burger The combo of the day was a cheeseburger & fries. Nice sammich served with fresh onions. It's just a place in a BP gas station. Quality burger though. Great place for a take out... or you can stay there and eat in. Nicely done - inexpensive. read more

Hilltop Cafe - a view of the inside of a restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Green Bay, Wisconsin

Solid burger in a tiny little café attached to a gas station. Driving up I thought the place was way small but once inside it had some tables to sit at and booths. You walk up to the counter and order/pay. I ordered a strawberry malt, bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. The malt came first and it was really big. I ended up having to share it with my husband. I loved the flavor of it and it was rich and creamy. Then our food came to the table. The cheeseburger patty itself was a little disappointing as it was small. The rest of the burger was fantastic. Freshly cooked bacon, two pieces of cheddar cheese, onions, pickles and a lightly toasted bun. I loved that bun! The tater tots were also rather tasty I only wish they were seasoned with salt or something. I would stop in again if in the area but I am unsure I would go out of my way to come here. read more

Looking for the best burger in Green Bay? Look no further! Can get busy at times but call ahead and grab carry out. Right near UWGB

Great food, right priced, great staff and always quick turning the order around! Lots of people ordering in and picking up super busy. Only thing I can see to improve would be to not have Fox News blasting on the TV. Especially since it is louder than the customers trying to eat with their family and friends. Not value added to the experience. read more

Went in and ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and fries. I asked that they hold the ham. The very nice girl at the counter explained to me that they couldn't make a grilled cheese only a grilled ham and cheese. She sweetly explained that she couldn't just put a piece of cheese on the grill to melt, she needed the ham too. I refrained from giving her the recipe for a grilled cheese that would have included bread and opted for ordering fries and a coke. As for the claim of "there is something for everyone".... I think not. Clean place with decent people. They just couldn't figure out how to make a grilled cheese. read more

The service was good and the food is good but they are kinda slow on making there food when there weren't a lot of people but otherwise they were very good. read more

I finally ate here after living so close to it for so long and I was not disappointed. I got the bacon cheese burger and fries as well as a chocolate malt. Everything was very good and the price was super reasonable. I would definitely eat here again. The service was excellent too. All of the workers were polite, pleasant, and friendly. The only complaint I have is that it took a while to get our food, but there were also a lot of people who ordered before us so that's understandable. read more

We have had very good food from Hill Top before. But when we last went and the service was super uncoordinated, people that were there after us were getting served before us, and when we did get our food it was extremely salty, (and I like salt) but this was burn your lips salty and actually very difficult to eat, I was very disappointed. read more

Food is amazing!! Prices are so low for the value of the food its insane!! Highly recommend this place!

This cafe is a real gem. Been here many times and the food is excellent! The only drawback is that it is too busy of a place to be located inside a gas station. Not enough seating. It really needs a bigger location because it is insanely popular! read more

What a deal on a burger!!!! If your headed to UW Green Bay or anywhere close to the area, I suggest pulling out a map/gps and finding the Hilltop Café. It's connected to a BP gas station, but don't be fooled, the burgers are great! You are not going to find a better burger anywhere for the price. I think I paid around $3.50/$4 for the Station burger, which was a brat patty, a hamburger patty, cheese, onions, pickles, on a toasted bun! Yeah, it was awesome. Fries are extra, but they have a large selection including Cajon fries, curds, waffle fries, or your standard shoestring. Each around $2-$4 bucks. Totally worth it, and you get a large amount. They usually have a daily special also including fries, burger of their choice, and soda ranging between $5-$7 bucks. That's a deal!!!!! This place is great! read more

Red meat is a treat for me and I generally would steer away from anything resembling a burger on most menus. The reason isn't cuz I don't like burgers either; it's just that burgers are a delicate art that aren't always done to greasy perfection. This burger delivers, let me tell you. It is so juicy and made with the best ingredients. You can tell these guys don't play. Really weird that the restaurant is actually in a BP gas station, but the food is well worth the strange atmosphere. Order a side of fries with your burger at lunch and you'll be full for the whole rest of the day. Not too many burgers haunt my dreams, but this one always seems to creep into my subconscious when I'm having a craving. read more

Food is always good here but the person who answered the phone to take our pick up order needs to learn a little customer service and people skills (I'm pretty sure he's the owner. The one who yells at his help in front of his customers. No wonder he can't keep good help). When my husband called and said he would like to place an order for pick up the guy who answered the phone replied "you and everyone else". Who answers a phone like that for a restaurant business? Husband asked what the specials were and was told one thing but when we got there, the sign said something completely different. Our order included what was on the special board but we didn't get the special price. I really like the food here but the owner doesn't deserve my hard earned money. I'll take my business down the road to The Settlement where the people treat you so much better and appreciate your business. read more

It's a tiny restaurant inside of a gas station that produces amazing burgers and sides. Great deals, as well.

Went to this place on good Friday and after having the fish fry it was a great Friday! The CC Boyz will be back soon.

Located in a conveinence store, you'd never expect the food that they have. The burgers are to die for. Hefty burger char grilled on an egg bun w/all the trimings. F fries seasoned and are pretty good as well. Next time you near the university of Wisconsin in greenbay, you must make this a stop. read more
