To stay in business for 91 years you know they must be doing something right. I stopped in here for lunch on July 20th 2025 with eight friends. We are all Bears fans and were a little apprehensive about stopping in Green Bay - but I'm so glad we did. Al's is a quaint little diner, but it was a beautiful day and Al's has an inviting outdoor biergarten so we opted to eat outside. I had Al's 1/4 pound Classic with America Cheese and a side of fries. The burger was good but a buddy and I agreed it was a little too salty. The fries were delicious. Service was friendly and quick. If you ever find yourself in Green Bay and you're hungry, you might want to give Al's a try.

Ordered the "surf n turf" which the pepper steak with Cajun shrimp added. It seemed "rebellious" to top a cheesesteak w shrimp. The rebellion worked!! It was great. I actually took half home and it was even better after the ride home. We ordered tots to share. Maybe I wasn't paying attention, because when the food arrived I thought the tots looked weird. Then my son showed me that they are "Tetris Tots" (see pic). So fun!!!! Anyway... get out and support local business serving delicious fun at a reasonable price!!! Totally recommend.

The golf hitting bays right by the restaurant without any division is odd but nothing that should shy you away. I'm assuming it's a hard place to attract people to beacuse of the location. But id recommend a try because one person worked hard to keep patrons fed and glasses full so that tells me there are some good people behind the business. Isaac's needs our support! Wish more places worked this hard!

Unfortunately the drinks were super poor. Ordered a simple Whiskey ginger ale and there was no alcohol taste at all. That was very disappointing. Tasted like nothing. So I would not order any cocktail if I came back. Ambiance was nice. Dark and moody.

The service was friendly and attentive, and while I can't tell you exactly what I ordered for lunch, I DO remember the Bloody Mary -- it was really good!
