Great atmosphere, everything is clean and nicely decorated. You can tell the food is fresh and homemade, also delicious! Service was also fantastic. If you haven't been it's definitely worth a stop. read more

Food was great overall. To start the off, the drinks were exceptionally good and tasty. The food itself was good, but not as good as the drinks. Next off, the service. I liked the service with the two employees serving being really kind. Not too much besides that to comment on for the service. The ambiance on how it felt was well, nice music but an overall quiet place. There was an issue with the cleanliness though. When we were inside the place, there was food on the floor and lots of crumbs still on a lot of the tables and eating areas. Also, there were ant(s) inside of the towel-thingy we got. Overall, would've been a 5 if it was cleaner. read more

We walked in on Sunday around 4:30 p.m. with our family of four, knowing the rest of our group would be meeting us shortly for a total party of 12. When we entered, the employee behind the counter appeared to be having a personal conversation with two young women who were seated at the counter. She looked over and immediately told us it would be at least 20 minutes before she could even take our order, but that we could seat ourselves. We began looking for a way to accommodate our larger group and initially combined two tables that seated four people each. Before rearranging any additional tables, I asked if it would be okay to move another table. She directed us to a different booth and suggested pulling over a single table, but even after explaining that we had a party of 12, the setup she suggested still wouldn't have provided enough seating. When I pointed that out, her demeanor became noticeably frustrated. She told us to go back to the original tables and said she would have to "pull something together herself." The interaction took place in front of other customers and felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and embarrassing. As more of our family arrived, we decided to leave. It wasn't the 20-minute wait that bothered us--we completely understand restaurants get busy. It was the lack of professionalism and the way we were treated. We felt like our group was an inconvenience rather than welcomed as customers. It was disappointing, especially since we had been looking forward to eating there. Don't go there if you are a larger party. read more

Wow! My husband, mom and I ended up here after a failed attempt to get a table at Archie's. Our food at 888 was delicious and our server was great, too! My mom commented on how nice and clean the restaurant was. Those cheese curds are legit. Our main dishes were a great amount of food for a pretty good price. All three of us left happy that we gave 888 a try. read more

Such a lovely place if you are a grilled cheese lover. The atmosphere and menu felt very nostalgic, but there are lots of fun unique twist on grilled cheese to keep it fun and unique. I had the Grilled Cheese Flight which was so perfect- a mix of classics and twists. And a sparkling cherry lemonade, which was just a nice fresh drink. I would ABSOLUTELY come back. read more

We stopped here for lunch after exploring Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve. It's literally 3 minutes from there. Pros: grilled cheese sandwiches were all served hot and tasted great. Chips and dip were delicious. I brought my kids and the atmosphere suits families. Service was fine. Cons: soup portion was tiny. It's more money than I would typically pay for lunch. read more

I only have a couple words to describe this experience THE BEST GRILLED CHESSE I also love the interior

Great grilled cheeses! Lots of variety! Definitely good place to try!! Recommend for anyone!

The place seemed very quaint when walking in and was met by a young woman who told us to look at the menu and come up the register to order once we are ready. My group of 4 decided to go sit down and take a look at the menu to see what we would eat as this is our first time here. Two of the people in my group decided to get the 888 mac and cheese with brisket. While us other two decided to try one of their specialty grilled cheeses. We waited for the food to come and when it was brought to us we received 3 specialty grilled cheeses and one 888 mac and cheese with brisket. The two that originally ordered the mac and cheeses looked at the server and explained how there must have been a mix up as they had ordered two mac and cheeses with brisket. The server then began screaming stating "You may have thought you ordered the mac and cheese but you didn't, I can go print out the ticket". Proceeded to go to the register and complain that we were harassing her and that we were in the wrong. When in reality it was a simple mistake on her part but for some reason in this establishment the customer does not come first. The lady then began to be very rude and stated she could not help us as we were wrong. We ended up leaving as it completely ruined our appetite. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy as I don't think they deserve such a bad experience. Terrible service and woke up feeling awful as I imagine the chicken in my dozo was fully. read more

Ahh..this place was such a gem...we didn't expect half of quality or service we received here....great job! Please keep up serving this amazing fare. Basic comfort food but they just do it so well!! You can see they're proud of what they put on the plate! Just read some people commenting on high price...but please don't discourage such restaurants to lower their quality by complaining about prices... Quality over Quantity and they definitely serve good quality read more

A grilled cheese restaurant sounds really great to me. I mean I got a great grilled cheese at 2 other restaurants recently. I know this place is new but I will say I think they have a lot to improve. You walk in and order at the bar. Then take a number (similar to Culver's) and sit. They will bring the food out to you. the regular grilled cheese didn't have the cheese melted in the middle. That was disappointing. The soup was in a bowl that was much bigger than the portion. It made me feel like I got 1/4 of the soup. To me, the 888 and soup was bland and underwhelming. The PB Juan was good and the jalapeños are thick and fresh. Aka expect some spice to come through. It's an okay restaurant but I hope they can make the food a little tastier as they work out the kinks. read more

The drink was amazing! Grilled cheese was a good grilled cheese, and the tomato bisque was a bit much on its own but eaten with the sandwich it was delicious! They have outdoor seating and it's a cute little place right off of hwy41. You order when you walk in and drinks and food is brought to your table and the server was pleasant and checked in on me a couple of times. read more

Where's my cheese? The classic 888 grilled cheese was advertised as being "ooey and gooey". I'm very disappointed. Where's my ooey and where's my gooey, . If you look at the pictures, you can see the cheese doesn't fill the sandwich, and where there is cheese it's not a good cheese to bread ratio. Where's my cheese? On a positive note, the bread tasted good and was nicely crisp. The cheese that I had tasted good, the ratio was just off. If, in the future, they up the ooey and gooey factor, I'll be back but until then I'll save my $9 and make my grilled cheese at home-where I know it'll be as ooey and gooey as it should be. read more

Kicked off New Years Day with the newest restaurant in Suamico! Sampled the FRIED PICKLES, BURRATA CHEESE, MAC DADDY and the GOAT I recommend the GOAT very unique and tasty. The fried pickles were ok- I expected cheese inside them. The Burrata cheese also good but at $15 I expected like 6 slices vs 4 of bread. The sandwiches were both very tasty! read more

First off I really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. Was meeting a business friend and this place was inviting. The menu was great, filled with several solid food options. Reasonably priced given the bread is made in house and uses local farmers products. The service was also great! Even though you ordered at the counter we were asked several times if we content or needed anything. For sure will be back! Oh, and of course it tastes amazing. I got the chow-down sandwich. The cornbread was great and the portion was good, and matched the price I paid. Will definitely be back and hoping to cater this for work lunches too! read more

The food is amazing. The ambiance is really good too- I love the layout. The only complaint I've ever had about this restaurant is that there is cold air that blows directly on to every table, so I typically keep my jacket on but the food and the friendly owner and staff make it so very worth it. The service is fast, and you can literally taste that each item is prepared homemade and with care. If you are unsure of what to try, I suggest the pickle fries, cheese curds, the Mac Daddy and the tomato bisque. You will NOT be disappointed. read more
