No greeting, no welcome, no engagement, no smiles - just rude comments because I tried a lot of samples. The wives were not there, who have been super-nice to us in the past. I tried their stingy samples while being insulted for asking for them. (By the way, I normally tip generously because I know how hard it is to run a profitable business.) I wasn't impressed by any of the samples, which seemed bland, but bought one to be nice. The beer slingers still acted like they couldn't care less about us, despite only having a handful of people in there. Never again! They lost us as customers. When your competition brings smiles, and you come across as grumps, it's time to tweak your business model, such as charging for samples, and getting some customer service training. Other places do it. Figure it out!

I tasted their mead -- my first-ever experience tasting mead -- and I liked it. I don't think mead would be my beverage of choice, but I love that they're making it here. I also tried a few of the hard ciders and seltzers they make, like the Wisco Hard Seltzer, which comes in several flavors. I tried the Bomb Pop, which tastes exactly like a Bomb Pop popsicle! It's the perfect sip for summer. You can get a flight of different beers, hard ciders, hard seltzers, mead, etc., and sample your heart out. I did just that, and tasted several of their offerings. I kept coming back to their hard seltzers -- these were my favorite! Stillmank really knows how to check that box for adult beverages that are refreshing and light, sweet but not too sweet, and has interesting flavors. This is a brewery and tasting room only. It's not a restaurant, so it's basically a room with a bar and some tables, with a foosball table in the corner. Which, when you really think about it, what more do you need sometimes?
