Since then I've been in twice and I've had a great experience! The office staff I've encountered has always been nice. Wait times have never been rough for me, both in the lobby to be taken back and then when needing to get x-rays. I have been seeing Dr. Kevin D. He's been really personable and kind throughout my experience! Overall this has been a great office to help me throughout the healing journey for my hand.

They saw my brother for a broken femur, which is obviously not a small thing, and from the moment we were there, the care felt different. The provider who saw him took her time, didn't rush through anything, and actually answered all of our questions in a way that made sense. You could tell she cared, not just about the injury, but about him as a person going through it. Same goes for her medical assistant. Super kind, attentive, and just easy to talk to. It didn't feel cold or clinical the way some places do. It felt like they actually wanted to make sure we understood everything and felt supported. Honestly, after seeing how they handled his care, I've been seriously considering switching my own care over to them. That says a lot coming from someone who's pretty particular about where I go. If you're dealing with anything orthopedic-related and want a team that actually listens and treats you like a human, I would absolutely recommend them.

After a car accident I was referred to this clinic for follow up. The referral was sent on 11/13. I…read morefollowed up multiple times. The first week I called I was told it was being referred to the spinal specialist and they would need to review it so they could schedule me. I called back the next week and was told they still had not reviewed it but they would send another message. I called the following week and was told it was still being reviewed but they would send an urgent message and I would hear back with 24 hours. I called back the next day and was told it takes 48 hours for a response to an urgent message. I called back the next week and they said they still did not have it. I called back again the following week and was told "Oh it's been accepted we can schedule you now". We scheduled for two weeks out. The next day I got a call saying that was an accident that I shouldn't have been scheduled because it had not been reviewed yet and they needed to cancel the appointment. Today I finally got a call saying we need to refer you to someone else. So it took 5 weeks for them to tell me that they need to send me somewhere else. Meanwhile I'm in pain and doing what I can to alleviate it. The administrative process is awful. People should not have e to wait 5 weeks for a case to be accepted or referred out. On top of that no one at the office even knew what was going on as I was given several different messages.

My (good) doctor wanted a ct scan to see the extent of the injury and all Dr. Komatsu did was another x-ray that showed the same thing I knew before and said I was healing. How would he know?? He never did the ct scan to see the damage, not to mention it took over a month for an appointment. This is my second bad experience with them. He just didn't care in the 10 minute appt I had talking to him. He didn't listen to what I was saying, I felt invisible. He showed me the brace I needed on Amazon so I could buy one!! Then he referred physical therapy so I could get a wrist brace from them and they don't even do that! It's like he wanted me to be someone else's problem. Don't waste your time with this place. So now I have a broken wrist and have no idea what to do...if I could give zero stars I would.

Dr. John Steedman Jr and Total Hip arthroplasty ( replacement)…read more It only took me 3 years of hip and back pain, multiple hospital surgical and orthopedic surgeon researches, in attempts to identify the lowest rate of hospital surgical-related Staphylococcus and Streptococcus infections. The pain was debilitating at times. As a hospital- based healthcare professional, I knew surgery was unavoidable if I wanted to live pain-free, while the risks of hospital born infection was more than I was willing to take. In my research of top orthopedic surgeons I wish I had extended my search from King Co to Pierce Co years earlier, while I am grateful that I listened to my fears and doubts and I did not go with the first orthopedic surgeon's recommendation! I cannot say enough about the care received by Dr. Steedman and his entire team leading up to and throughout surgery. Surgery in their facility was far safer than a large hospital setting, fewer risks of human oversight and life-threatening risks. Going home the same day, taking a total of 3 Tylenol in my recovery, walking 3600 steps within a week - and a minimally visible scar 8 weeks later. I haven't felt this great in YEARS!!!! Top influencers for me, leading to my initial consultation, included Dr Steedman's education at John Hopkins and.a US News favorable (5 stars) review. Dr. Steedman (as well as his entire staff) were all professional, kind, patient, and thorough, with not only providing all the information I needed to prepare for surgery, but answering all of my questions as well. Follow up appointments have all been equally meaningful. He even provides his cell number to patients for ANY concerns that arise within the first 48 hours emphasizing, "anytime, day or night" and that included a weekend following my surgery. Words cannot express how thankful and grateful I am for doing my research and receiving the best medical care a person could hope for! SSC
