Since then I've been in twice and I've had a great experience! The office staff I've encountered has always been nice. Wait times have never been rough for me, both in the lobby to be taken back and then when needing to get x-rays. I have been seeing Dr. Kevin D. He's been really personable and kind throughout my experience! Overall this has been a great office to help me throughout the healing journey for my hand.

They saw my brother for a broken femur, which is obviously not a small thing, and from the moment we were there, the care felt different. The provider who saw him took her time, didn't rush through anything, and actually answered all of our questions in a way that made sense. You could tell she cared, not just about the injury, but about him as a person going through it. Same goes for her medical assistant. Super kind, attentive, and just easy to talk to. It didn't feel cold or clinical the way some places do. It felt like they actually wanted to make sure we understood everything and felt supported. Honestly, after seeing how they handled his care, I've been seriously considering switching my own care over to them. That says a lot coming from someone who's pretty particular about where I go. If you're dealing with anything orthopedic-related and want a team that actually listens and treats you like a human, I would absolutely recommend them.

Max put each of us a complete Lean Cuisine roasted chicken with red roasted potatoes and broccoli and red peppers and mushrooms in a fire roasted chicken sauce. It was a complete meal. The ER got slammed, and Max got pulled into two or three other rooms, our males have been heated, but he refused to let them bring those to us and threw them away and have them reheat two brand new ones and bring to us so we could eat. That's going above and beyond the call of your nursing duties! Does he need to be commended for his care of his patience and their family absolutely as much as he can possibly get because nursing care like what Max gave us is few and far between. It's much appreciated and we think he should be acknowledged for his good work. We thanked him. He said that that's my job. That's what I'm here to do is take care of you. He actually got my other half to smiling and so that was really good. They were cutting up and joking back-and-forth so yeah he was very nice and was with us the whole time until we got brought upstairs. We would also like to extend our thanks to and the rest of the nursing staff the doctors the CNA's they x-rayed text everybody the phlebotomist everybody that helped we appreciate it very, very much, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts! i'll be taking him home today soon as we can get the discharge hopefully in another hour or so!! While waiting for a room he got 5 stickers attached to his chest and stomach and when we got into the room the staff never needed to use them. Then when the new nurses needed blood, one nurses proceeded to talk badly about how the nurses in Emergency always take the good veins and they never care. From the lack of communication between medical staff, a mislabeled sign at the door, there was the fact that they kept the door open and continued to have conversations right outside the patient's rooms while charging their cellphones against the wall. It was hard for a few patients to sleep with the conversations right outside their doors. What I did find out that was nice. Night shift was nicer, cafeteria staff were always smiling, and the public bathrooms were cleaned. What I wished was different: daily checks on the patients, clean patient robes, change pillow cases when people sweat through, more awareness on areas of pain and some patience and grace with treatment. Also maybe learn to close the doors better. Either way, this place need to change. I used to go to St. Joe's for my mom and they were all so diligent with her care. Here its like the bare minimum for their patients.

The first week I called I was told it was being referred to the spinal specialist and they would need to review it so they could schedule me. I called back the next week and was told they still had not reviewed it but they would send another message. I called the following week and was told it was still being reviewed but they would send an urgent message and I would hear back with 24 hours. I called back the next day and was told it takes 48 hours for a response to an urgent message. I called back the next week and they said they still did not have it. I called back again the following week and was told "Oh it's been accepted we can schedule you now". We scheduled for two weeks out. The next day I got a call saying that was an accident that I shouldn't have been scheduled because it had not been reviewed yet and they needed to cancel the appointment. Today I finally got a call saying we need to refer you to someone else. So it took 5 weeks for them to tell me that they need to send me somewhere else. Meanwhile I'm in pain and doing what I can to alleviate it. The administrative process is awful. People should not have e to wait 5 weeks for a case to be accepted or referred out. On top of that no one at the office even knew what was going on as I was given several different messages.

My (good) doctor wanted a ct scan to see the extent of the injury and all Dr. Komatsu did was another x-ray that showed the same thing I knew before and said I was healing. How would he know?? He never did the ct scan to see the damage, not to mention it took over a month for an appointment. This is my second bad experience with them. He just didn't care in the 10 minute appt I had talking to him. He didn't listen to what I was saying, I felt invisible. He showed me the brace I needed on Amazon so I could buy one!! Then he referred physical therapy so I could get a wrist brace from them and they don't even do that! It's like he wanted me to be someone else's problem. Don't waste your time with this place. So now I have a broken wrist and have no idea what to do...if I could give zero stars I would.
