Great beer and service with a welcoming atmosphere. You can order food at Pizza Factory and they will walk it over to you when it is ready. Clean bathrooms are a plus.

    Cute decor throughout

We loooveee breweries and were visiting from out of town so of course had to stop here. The bartender was so friendly, she let us try multiple beers before choosing some for in house and some for togo. Super friendly locals with cute dogs too! Perfect tap room vibes. It's a cute small spot with great beer! Hopefully we can visit their brewery location someday as well. Fun to checkout in the area and now we can happily check another brewery off our list.

A good old classic Disco Ninja on tap.

My go-to place in town. Staff is great, beers are great, and a wonderful place to hang out with your friends and play a game or just chat up the locals.

Simple decor ....expensive. The Coco Taco Bell Stout costs $39.99/4-pack. Did a sampler of their stouts, Minden, and Beer tender wasn't friendly at all...seemed more interested in talking to his friends about hard rock bands when he was in Idaho.

    Key lime pie sour

Has sour that tastes great in the summer. Great crew. I came back for the new "whitmore" double hazy IPA and a bottle of porter to take home next day.

We liked the service. Bar tender was great, friendly and had many recommendations. We found beers to please our pallets, as my hubby and I have different tastes. Music and atmosphere is great! Hungry? Get Mexican or pizza for takeout next door. Great place to hang! Brand new and rocking design! Glad they're in Minden now.

You have to go next door to get food. The beer is awesome and it's an old bar ambiance. The service is great as well.

AWAY. So I have this little belief that has so far been proven right... If a brewery has food, it's good food. And honestly, I can say that this keeps that belief up. My burger and fries were SPECTACULAR, and any chance to eat beer cheese is a good time for me. Also, my mom with her gluten allergy, said that throughout her years of terrible gluten free alternatives, this one was the most amazing, tasty, and was hard to believe it wasn't full of gluten, but somehow it was, and it was awesome! We sat outside, and they have a nice seating area, a lot of games in a grassy area and a few others scattered around, as well as a fire pit to give it a chill atmosphere Staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and honestly made a really good impression on us before we even started talking. All that to say... To management, you WILL be seeing us again, I don't care how, we will be coming back.

The only downside is that if you're sitting outside, it can be hard to hear when your order is ready. If you order through the QR code, though, you can enter your phone number and receive a text notification, which is really helpful. We did have one small issue once where I received a text saying our food was ready, but it wasn't. I think the tickets may have gotten mixed up and someone grabbed the wrong order. The staff fixed it quickly, though, so it wasn't a big deal. The soft serve is a great deal, and they rotate flavors regularly. The lemon flavor was our favorite. We've tried several of the sandwiches and burgers, and everything has been consistently good. They also offer a nice variety of wing flavors, and the wings are always one of our go-to orders. Overall, it's a cute spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, and the patio is dog-friendly. I've heard people mention that it's expensive, but honestly, the prices seem pretty standard compared to most other restaurants in town. Nothing felt overpriced to us.

It was our first time going to a drag show and it was a blast having a Mother's day reunion this way. The entertainers were fun (Maria you're the best) and the drink service could have been a little faster. There were many of us at our table that ordered bottomless mimosas. The rest of our mommy's had tequila and other hard liquors. The food options at the outdoor parking lot were delicious. It did take some time. This parking lot is horribe. I recommend ride share or getting dropped off here so you don't have to leave your car downtown on the streets. This part of 4th street isn't the best area. Shout out to the hubbs for shuttling me. We'll have to come back and have beer on the other side. I love their peanut butter stout and usually have a chilled pack in my fridge in the Summer. Thanks to the Lead Dog for hosting The Twampson's drag brunch for a fun and memorable Mother's day celebration.

Here is what we liked: - Great vibe inside, including some comfy couches and lots of seating. - There is an area for live music in the back, which was just starting as we were leaving so we didn't get to enjoy that. - Very broad range of beers on tap. - We ordered a flight (4 5-ounce pours) and absolutely loved each of the beers, which isn't always the case at other places. I can't believe I'm actually going to give this review a one star review…read more Great Basin Brewing has been a favorite of ours for well over a year almost 2 years now. It's been our go to place. Today being Father's Day, we were out and about in town and decided we would eat there. All the way there I kept bragging to my grandson how great this place is and it's our go to spot. yada yada yada. It wasn't very busy and we were seated very quickly. The service has always been pretty friendly. The service today was adequate and I'll get to that in a second. My grandson ordered the pork belly, Mac and cheese. I kept saying how that is a really good choice and he's really going to like it. My wife ordered the half rack ribs with fries and coleslaw. I had what I think is called the butchers platter with ribs, chicken wings, and pork belly. The food arrived and looked pretty darn good. But that's where it ends. My wife kept saying how salty the food was. And I got to thinking about that as I was eating my wings with the so-called Memphis dust flavoring on them. Those were equally salty so I thought wow OK maybe it's just our taste buds. Then I tried my ribs and they were also salty. I tried my wife's ribs just to see if they were that salty and come to find out they really were and dry. The fries that came with my wife's food tasted like they were old like they've been sitting out for a while. The coleslaw was also bland. After bragging about the pork belly and cheese, my grandson stated that it was pretty bland with very little flavor. So I tried it just to see what was going on and sure enough it was really lacking something what I don't know. I'm thinking garlic because it was pretty darn bland. I honestly hate to give a review like this because I really like this place as I said before it's been our go to spot. Now, as far as the service the server, she was very friendly, but that was pretty much it, after getting our food she didn't even check on us until it was about time for us to leave and she brought us our check. It's just kind of weird because there's a couple of servers here that are exceptional. So I don't know what's going on, but this was a very big letdown for a couple of regular customers. As usual, the place is clean and spacious with plenty of TVs to enjoy sports. In the end, the beverages were about the best part of the meal. It was Father's Day, so my beer was free so thank you for that maybe this was just a rough day. I don't know. I don't know if you have new cooks or what but this was pretty bad considering how much we like this place and how good it has always been.

I loved the stockyard vibes of the patio that sits just off main street and I imagined watching a parade or enjoying one of the town's special events from there. The patio also has a big stage and quite a bit of outdoor seating, suggesting good times there too. The brewery is small and they make 6-7 styles. There was a solid local vibe and constituency enjoying the beers here. The bartender was friendly, talked to us a bit about the beers and was quick to provide samples to help us make a selection. I chose the red ale and enjoyed the roasted malt flavor. At the end of the day, this is a microbrewery in a small town. I rarely drink beer anymore but this one went down so nicely, which I think was because I knew I was supporting a small local business. Cheers to Big Meadow.

South Lake Brewing Company is located in the same plaza as Target, with plenty of parking available. South Lake Brewing Company is also dog friendly for those traveling with their pups When we walked in through the back entrance, we were greeted by an employee. After looking over the menu, we ended up ordering: Pilsner, $8- My husband ordered this one for himself. He liked it and had said he would order it again. Not really big on beer (although I do like German beers), I didn't have any. 2 Towns Huckleberry Cider, $8- I ordered this cider for myself and I thought it was fantastic. The sweet flavors of the huckleberry was prominent and excellent as a hard cider. --------------------------- (Total= $16) After my husband paid, the employee helping got our drinks right away. Then we just sat in the corner inside to just enjoy and relax for a while. The place itself was pretty empty, although a small amount of traffic was coming in. The brewery inside was pretty clean and so were the ladies' restrooms. Outside there was a corn hole for those that wished to play and also it was nice that there was some shade as well. If I was a local, I would definitely come back.

Thanks for the convenience. Even though you are only a block from the Heavenly Gondola, my wife was nice enough to drive to pick me up. So many conveniences. Fairly simple menu that is done well. The beer was good! Got the two best IPA sellers. Angora House WC IPA and Fog Nozzle Hazy IPA. Both of which were smooth, too smooth; I could have drank even more. Well I did, as we went to South of North Brewing for more beer! See other review. I almost got a flight here, just to get it on a ski board. It was very cool; see my pictures. As for lunch, we got the following: Sticky Fried Chicken Sandwich - Made to order. Good quality, but a little small and did not come with fries or chips. In summary, tourist prices, lol. Wings - Pineapple BBQ flavor. Good size wings. Order of 8 for $20; again, tourist prices, lol. Overall the food was good and complimented my beers well. Specials available. Kids menu. Ambiance - Decent size location. The place still looks new; I like your decor. See pictures. Indoor and outdoor seating, see pictures. Cornhole outside. Lounge, table, and bench seating. We sat at the bar for the best service, otherwise it would be counter service as the bartender was the only front of the house employee. After lunch, I opened a tab and we took our beers outside to enjoy the beautiful day and the live music from across the street. Open 7 days a week from Noon to 9pm. Plenty of 2 hour limit mall parking. Well it is the off season now. Events, food trucks, Thursday Trivia, etc - See their website. Service - Good. The bartender did a good job handling both us sitting on the bar and ALL the counter service. And she still had time to let me try a few tasters. Self service water, utensils, etc. Price - $62 + tip. Expensive for what we got. Beers were $9 each. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2003 and 2017 at this location.
