I waited in line for a shoe drop and actually had a fair chance at purchasing a pair--until the doors opened and everything completely fell apart. There was an immediate bum rush to the front, and somehow two separate lines were allowed to form with no explanation or enforcement. Security did nothing to control the crowd or restore order. People were openly cutting the line, and individuals who had already purchased shoes were allowed to get back in line and buy multiple pairs. During this chaos, I personally witnessed someone get robbed of the newly released shoes they had just purchased. The environment felt extremely unsafe. Several people appeared to be carrying weapons, which made it intimidating and dangerous to speak up when others were cutting the line. A shoe release should never put customers at risk or create a situation where theft can happen right in front of staff and security. This event was completely unorganized and poorly managed. If this business plans to host high-demand releases, they need clear rules, proper crowd control, and active security. I will not be attending another release like this unless major changes are made. read more

I have never experienced this type of service anywhere else all the employees don't care let the phones ring without even making a effort to want to pick up the phones ... at this point what's the point for a business line ? This was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I bought a jacket from this Shoe Palace as a gift. The first time the zipper was used, it broke immediately. The jacket was brand new and never worn. The person who received the gift tried to return it with a gift receipt and was told they needed the original receipt. Annoying, but fine. A few days later, I went back myself with the original receipt to exchange it. The employee, Tanikko, refused the exchange because the zipper was broken. That makes ZERO sense -- the zipper being broken is the entire reason for the exchange. This was clearly a defective item. Instead of helping, she argued with me and then actually called me "bruh." Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I am a paying customer, not her friend, and definitely not a "bruh." The lack of professionalism was shocking. On top of that, refusing to take back a faulty product with the original receipt is ridiculous. This store needs serious management intervention and better-trained employees. I was given a hard time over a manufacturing defect. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

So I got to the store at 7:15 it was only about 15 people ahead of me waiting for the release of the flu games. I noticed that around 8:30 a lot of people started pulling up and walking up to the front where they had people waiting or knew someone. This did not give the ones that had been in line a far chance to cop the shoes. Please do better. read more

Horrible service I asked for a size 8 and after 20 minutes the guy comes out and says I don't have 8 but I have 7 did you want to try them out !?!?!?! What ???? Usually I have a pleasant experience when I'm at this store but sadly that is not the case this time. This time I was dealing with the manager in the store , her name was Abri, and she was honestly very rude. When I went to go ask her a question she just told me that she was busy and walked away I didn't see her helping anyone else. When I went back to ask for her manager she just told me she was the manager and again walked away. This event has tainted any other experience I have had there. I would give no stars if it was possible. I left the store today at 6:06 PM and the sales people allowed a man to shop without a mask. The store personnel had their mask below their noses and one lady pulled her whole mask under her chin. When I mentioned this to the sales associate Alexis or Marjorie (there are two names on the receipt) her response was she can only put up the sign. I will never return to the store and I will alert others. There is a real pandemic going on and the way it is being mishandled in this establishment is appalling! The staff and management need to be trained. I will be calling the city, health department, ect. There were other patrons in the store with their mask under their noses as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, even with me changing my mind a few times. They gave me space to look around without feeling rushed or stalked. They were always around to answer questions when I had them. They also had great deals on items I wanted so that was great for me! If there's a negative star, that's what I would give. No customer service at all. The moment we entered the store, no one greeted us. The only guy in the store had on AirPods the whole time we were there. And don't get me started with the cashier who rung us up. Name on the receipt was Ahjanae, she has curly hair. There was socks that had sticker for $1.98 and when she rung it up, it came out as 9.98 I asked if there was a mistake cus there is a whole ass sticker on the label. Oh my oh my where do I begin, let me start off by saying a couple of days ago I started off my day with a terrible morning, it was one of those days where I wanted cereal for breakfast so I went on to pour my cheerios on my bowl and I made my way to the fridge, to then realize I ran out of milk. I was exasperated and starving. So I then made my way to Cardenals on an empty stomach but I seen there was a shoe palace there so I said why not and buy myself something to enlighten my morning. As I walked in I was salutated by this young lady with impressive shoe game! We exchanged names, her name is Aaliyah. Very nice and welcoming, anyways she went on to tell me about the sale they have on, correct me if I'm wrong, mason article. I bought two t's for $22! Can't beat that! She then recommended me some runners to go with my shirt, I said why not! So she started bringing me some options and let me tell you this girl is quick! In and out the stock room before I can even have a seat on the bench! So as I was trying on some shoes she asked me how my day was and I then told her the rough morning I had. She felt very truly deeply sorry for me so I kid you not, may God murder my children if I'm lying but she gave me not 10 but $30 to go on and buy myself and my household some milk! I was so grateful by such act, this lady was absolutely amazing and treating me like the president of the United States of America! I almost cried, how can someone I barely met treat me like this! I couldn't believe my eyes! I told her what can I do as a thank you, she pitched in some cleaners so of course I bought them as a thank you act, this young lady not only cares about her customers but about this company as well!
