I love Under Armour! My boyfriend told me I have to get some compression shorts because I have a…read morehamstring injury. (And he said I have to warm up my hamstrings properly.) So after trying on a few different ones at other stores, I decided that Under Armour had the best shorts. When I discovered that Under Armour had a store at the Tanger Outlets in Texas City, I decided to venture out there to see if I could stock up on some shorts. I'm very happy that I made the trip to the outlets. When I first walked in, the guy that worked there helped me find the shorts that I needed. Most of the apparel seems to be about 20% lower than retail pricing. That adds up when I'm trying to stock up on workout clothes. With one of the sales going on, I got an even bigger discount on a couple pairs of really nice running capris. I just wish they had more in my size. They didn't have many in XS. The clearance section has even more discounts. I was able to find 4 compression shorts in my size on the clearance rack and a cute tank top. When I went, they had 3 different clearance racks for women, one for long sleeve tops, one for short sleeve and sleeveless tops, and one for bottoms. They had some clearance racks for men, also, but I can't remember how many. Their fitting rooms are great! They're big with a long bench on the side and several hooks on the wall and big mirrors. You can check to see what coupons and sales they have going on at the Tanger Outlets website. Just go to the coupons section of the website and it's easy to find. I think they also have a coupon in the Tanger Outlets coupon book. I ended up not getting the book for $5 though, but I'm pretty sure Under Armour is in the book. My favorite part about shopping here was the bag they gave me for putting my new purchases in. The bag looks and functions like one of their drawstring sackpacks. This was very helpful because this was the first store I visited at the outlets. After shopping here, I could just wear the bag as a backpack instead of having to drop it off at my car or having to carry it in my hand to all of the other stores I visited. The bag also looks nice enough to use again. To the ladies: If you haven't tried the Under Armour pure stretch underwear, you need to try it! I picked up a couple of pairs of the cheeky underwear because they were on sale, and I love them! I went back to this store the next week just to buy more underwear. The package does not lie when it says you'll never wear regular underwear again. The package also says no VPL, and there are none! I wear them under compression shorts and compression capris and stare at my butt in the mirror, and I am amazed by how smooth it looks! I got a bunch of cheeky ones for working out, but I might need to get some of the thongs for going out. LOL This store is awesome! It's really big and is full of stuff. They have lots of different tops and bottoms for men and women. They had shoes in the back next to the fitting rooms. They also have clothes and accessories for girls and boys. They also have underwear and socks and other accessories. The employees are all very nice. I can't wait to go again!

With that being said, I went into this store around Christmas and could not find any shoes that I liked that were available in my size. However, the two employees that were working on this day were absolutely fantastic. They were both extremely helpful, very friendly, and made the entire experience of not finding shoes totally enjoyable. I left without buying a thing About 30 minutes later, I told my wife about the store (she was at the opposite end of the outlets when I went in the first time). She needed new shoes for work to wear with her scrubs so we went back. Not only did she find the shoes she needed but my daughter also found a pair she needed for college. We left a little happier this time. The main reason for the five stars is the staff that works here. Seriously!! How often do you run across two employees in retail that seem to really enjoy their job and make the buying experience positive when you don't find what you were originally looking for? They were fantastic!! I will be back!! Bottom line - Great employees and a really good selection of styles. I am very happy to have this store in the Tanger Outlets in Texas City.

It was very hot. My most recent visit was in January on a beautiful day. It was cold in the shade, therefore the heater in the store was on, so it was hot! It's a hard time of the year to pick to turn on the heater or the AC! Shoes seem durable & the prices are average. I will return next to check out new stuff!

However most of the bags that I was looking at, had spots or stains or tags that were bent, making them look as if you had bought it second hand in the Internet. Poor condition of the stock here, with apparent discounts over overinflated price tags that are delusional, making you think you're getting some sort of "bargain". The staff was snotty and rude, I had a 10% coupon that the saleswoman refused to take, saying that it wouldn't work there, not even trying to input it in the system. Narrow minded at best. Yet she was insisting in getting my personal information, email etc... when I told her I wasn't interested in signing up for newsletter of seemingly coupons they're not gonna honor anyway she was very rude, handing the bag without care putting it in a wrinkled gift bag that seemed reused. When I kindly asked her to give me another bag because this was a present, she huffed throwing the bag in another bag that although better than the other one, still looks cruised with the gift paper all wrinkled. Horrible experience... I was about to walk out of there without the bag, but I had had a long drive to get there already (with all the construction work happening around the outlets) that I just didn't want to completely waste my afternoon. I've been to the Cypress location, but this one opened a few months ago, and I was overdue for a visit. I was blown away by how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is here. No one greeted us or asked if we needed help finding anything. But I will say that the desk associate that checked me out was very sweet. She actually smiled and was very warm. Now the other desk associate that checked out my sister was VERY rude! No smile at all and she was very short. She acted as if she HATED her job. People like that should NOT be working retail. Why would ANYONE ever want to go back when they are treated so unkindly?! Like I said in my previous review, these retail workers need to get over themselves. They aren't better than me or anyone else. Thank you to the nice young lady at the middle register today. She was pleasant. Her colleagues need to take lessons from her. I doubt my sister will ever want to go back because of how she was treated. Too bad because they have some great deals. It's funny to me that the ladies at the Kate Spade store were MUCH friendlier and upbeat. They actually seemed to enjoy their jobs and they greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. Imagine that!
