I received my $10 birthday coupon so why not use it on the sneakers! The cost of those New Balance sneakers are $74.99. Not bad considering they're $80 on New Balance website. I also grabbed a pair of socks to wear w/loafers/mules/booties. I didn't realize you get 5 pair for $14.99. There are several colors/styles. The store is very clean well stocked. I hardly ever find empty stalls. I can say if you wear a 9 or larger those sizes are slim to none. So if you see that size is available I would suggest buy it. It won't be there tomorrow:) The associates are very nice . There are 6 registers and at least 4 cashiers are there to assist you. This DSW is located next door to Kirkland's and Sprouts. Conveniently located in the Webb Ginn shopping plaza's. If you're in the area, check out this DSW. I've been to several and this is one of my favorites. The Service: The customer service is meh and here's what I mean. When I'm in the store, I'm never greeted, never approached, just gazed upon. No one seems to be of help in-store. Now, when I called to inquire about the punching bag, the guy in team sports was super helpful and very friendly. I say this to say, I know the customer service is there, I just wish more of the associates would show it. I worked at an Academy well over 10 years ago, and the service we gave compared to what I see today, is night and day. When I came in to pick up my punching bag and stand, I was told to wait to the side after I paid. I was then told to pull my cat around to the back. I waited for about 10 minutes and no one came. I called and they apologized and told me to come back to the front. They were there waiting for me. So it was definitely a bit of a run around. The only thing that's giving them a three star review is the guy who helped me over the phone was really nice. I wish I knew his name.
