We were trying on a pair of shoes at the end of an aisle and on the next aisle over, I heard a lady on her phone cursing and discussing personal habits (of the dr*g type) with the individual on the other end....... The shoe selection is average and the layout of the store is very much like Payless Shoe Source so I didn't expect to find anything I want. I noticed name brands like Nike, Sperry, Clarks, Reef, which is a cut above Payless. read more

Awesome first experience! These ladies in here were super helpful, super patient and super knowledgeable. I spent a grip of an evening in here and walked out with a boat load of shoes. I knew I was moving to NYC so I wanted to load up on walkable shoes. They really helped me to make the most of the deals and helped me to choose some well-structured sneakers and other flats. I ended up with two pairs of Adidas with that lovely cushion - oh my- it's called like Sky Cloud. I got a pair of Nikes, some tennis from Polo, some lace less slip on tennis from Firefly and Nine West. I think that was it. I got a great selection because they have a great selection. I bought from both the men's and women's section. They were awesome. I know I was there past closing and they let me finish up without being pressured and then helped me calculate which of their multiple deals would give me the biggest bang for the buck which was going beyond to provide great customer service. My first time at this location and my experience was TERRIBLE!!! Alex the cashier was rude and unhelpful and the manager was the same . I went to this location to get my 6 month old shoes. I couldn't find the size I wanted in the style I wanted because it was so unorganized. I went to the front to ask if they had any in the back. When I walked up, Stephanie and the younger gentleman were talking about food and completely ignored me until I said excuse me, can you see if you have this shoe in the back in the size I need. She blew me off and said we don't have anything in the back. When I got to the front the guy was clueless. He ran my card and when it came time to enter my pin, the screen went blank. So I told him it went blank and he without a beat called Stephanie up front. She figured out the card reader had come unplugged. While they are trying to figure out what is going on, I checked my bank balance to see if the transaction went through and it had so I let them know. Stephanie told me that they had to run my card again charging me double. I got frustrated and I showed her my account. She continued to dismiss me and told me she had to run my card again. She told me the other charge was pending and that it would "fall" off tonight. I still have 2 charges for 1 item on my account. Stephanie has no people skills and dismissed me without a blink. I don't think the store employees are being trained properly and it seems like everyone is making up "rules" as they go. I will be contacting corporate tomorrow. There was no reason to charge my card when I had already paid. Thanks for ruining my Sunday. read more

My husband and I visited this location to get shoes for my mother and myself and interacted with 4 different associates, all of the customer service provided was sub par and the only one I could possibly forgive was the cashier who seemed new and very apologetic. When I asked one associate for help finding shoes (plural), he said the shoe I had in my hand was the best one and went back to another customer. When I found another shoe and asked another associate for help with a size she said they had a limited selection and if I don't see it it isn't there- glanced at the selection herself and said it wasn't there and gave me the display shoe back. When checking out the cashier was very nice and polite but one pair didn't ring for a sale price so the manager came to "help". She didn't acknowledge us, the customer, she didn't apologize for the inconvenience - if it wasn't for a time sheet on the back of their cubby I never would have guessed she was the manager. But she was only too happy to void the sale when I said I didn't want the shoe (due to our time constraints and her lack of working their system), she still didn't acknowledge is even then. Yes I left with two pairs of shoes, I also left knowing I will never return and based on their customer service I doubt they care. read more
