I called ahead yesterday specifically to ask whether this store accepted custom-made suits because another consignment company I use does not. The person I spoke with told me they did and simply said to bring them in. Today, I brought in four custom-made suits worth approximately $12,000. They were folded neatly and brought in bags. When I arrived, one employee greeted me politely and asked how he could help. I explained that I had called the day before about consigning custom suits. Another employee turned around and said, "It was me." He immediately and rudely asked what size the suits were. I explained that they belonged to my husband and I wasn't sure. He then said, "Well, first of all, you need to bring custom suits in on a hanger." I apologized and explained that I hadn't been told that when I called. His response was, "You didn't ask." That was the entire interaction. At that point, I thanked them for their time and left. Businesses are free to have whatever intake requirements they want, but basic customer service and professionalism cost nothing. Had I been told over the phone that the suits needed to be on hangers, I would have happily brought them that way. Instead, I was made to feel like I had done something wrong for not knowing information that was never communicated to me. I also own a business in the same neighborhood, so I understand firsthand how important customer service is. Every person who walks through the door deserves to be treated with respect, whether they're bringing in one item or several. The way I was spoken to was dismissive, rude, and unnecessarily condescending. It was such a poor first impression that I immediately decided to take my business elsewhere. I will also be sharing my experience when customers, colleagues, and neighbors ask for recommendations regarding local consignment businesses. If this is how potential consignors are treated before they've even become customers, I cannot recommend this business.

I just submitted a change, we'll see if it gets updated. It is a Kohl's store with a Sephora located inside of it. Even the signage on the building clearly says Kohl's + Sephora. Anyway, we had been to another location the day before to look for some dress shirts for hubby for an upcoming wedding that we are attending. Somehow we ended up with a wrong size shirt. The label on the shirt was what we needed but the sew in label says L, but we needed a M. We found the identical shirt in the correct size to take up to the checkout to exchange. As I passed by the Intimate's department, I couldn't help but notice the huge inventory of bras and panties. It was such a joy to have so much selection to look through! I found multiple bras to buy (because of course, it was buy one, get one half off, so you have to buy 2 if you're getting some). That really helps the cost seem more reasonable. I don't like paying full price for anything! It's great having so much selection to choose from and that you can try them on. So much better than buying online and have to ship back the rejects. We had bought a bunch of stuff at the other location and received Kohl's cash, so sometimes it's a pain to go an exchange or return because it impacts your Kohl's cash. Luckily, we found the correct size men's dress shirt and I had brought along the Kohl's cash and my receipt and the exchange was painless! I mentioned what a great big Intimate department that was located here. The sales clerk was very kind and had a nice smile and attitude! The selection in the Wylie store is limited but a good variety. Better selection in Mckinney & Rockwall. Value is good, they stand behind their products. Not hey don't worry you can return the hat for zero shipping and we can t get a new hat ordered. Nope. For the price you can literally buy a hat if this quality online for 1/4 or less of price. Given their attitude, lack of service and poor price to quality I ended up just buying a hat with a competitor and I couldn't be happier.
