Aamir is who you want to speak with at customer service. He is so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. My MIL shops a lot at Kohls and we have never had an issue. We went in after Christmas to exchange a pair or joggers not sewn correctly. The girl at customer service was rude, unkind, and NOT helpful. We didn't give up, but luckily Aamir saw us struggling with her and offered help. So glad he did. He was so kind and did everything in his power to find us a solution we were happy with. Thank you!!! The selection in the Wylie store is limited but a good variety. Better selection in Mckinney & Rockwall. Value is good, they stand behind their products. I have always loved shopping at Kohl's despite the fact that some locations are not managed as well as others as far as organzied and orderly displays, but most recently things are changing in their service and coupons and returns. 1: I tried to return a pair of pants, albeit I had no receipt, but tags still on and not worn. They would take them back or issue credit because it been over 1 month. 2: Went in to drop off Amazon package and received coupon for $10 off (used to be 20%), and also saw a sign in the shoe department that said 35% off if using Kohl's credit card. When I went to pay for my purchase the item "did not qualify". Too many changes and exclusions and even the cashier tried to find me some savings but nothing would work, and he even told me to try somewhere else, I'd probably find them for a better price. NO SALE THIS TIME and more than likely not again. read more

My rating is 3.5 stars. I had shopped a few times at various Kohl's stores while in the Dallas area that I ended up with Kohl's cash worth $10. I was eligible to use it a day before I flew back home. I was on a mission to use it. I did a quick search to find the closest store from my hotel and found this one in Wylie. I drove over here first thing on a Tuesday morning. This store is clean and nicely stocked. I decided to look at spatulas in the housewares section. I recently bought a stainless steel one a month ago, which is safe on nonstick pans. I wanted a larger one for pancakes. I found an OXO Good Grips one that has a silicone handle and the spatula part is metal encased in silicone. It felt better in my hand than the Food Network version. I bought the former. This Good Grips silicone spatula normally goes for $15. With my discount, it was just over $5. I can't complain! I just used it the other day to make an omelette for breakfast. It works well. I am pleased! The only downside was that there was only one cashier and three customers in the lineup at 10 am. One customer took a good seven minutes to complete her transaction. Another Kohl's employee came over to help, but was locked out of her cash register and had to call support. Called got a very specific shirt. We're going to my husband's fathers funeral and we need a shirt to match. My husband is a large tall man, so we are calling all around town for this shirt. We were sent to the big and tall section and told very rudely, they had no polo shirts and then hung up on. The main problem here, other than the rudeness, is we did not ask for a polo shirt at all. I called back spoke to the manager on staff 7/4/2022 at around 1:45. She was so gracious in helping us track down the unicorn of a shirt. I'm very appreciative of her help, and I hope she is able to hug the young lady in the men's department. I'm not normally this disorganized especially since my husband is not the "average" stature, but in this unfortunate case it was unavailable. read more

The people working at the return counter when you first walk in (especially the older Caucasian woman) are rude and not helpful. I stood in line for over three minutes (with no one in front of me), looking at 4 employees behind the counter. The older white woman had a major attitude and was snapping at the other employees and asking them questions about things happening at the store. I couldn't take it anymore and asked if anybody was working. The younger, scrawny male who was behind the counter asked me what I needed, and when I told him, pointed me toward another line. Mind you, he was doing absolutely nothing the whole time and was literally just standing behind the cash register. I told them I would have gone to the other line minutes ago if someone had assisted me in the first place. I needed to buy some items from Kohl's but decided against it because the employees were so rude and basically ignored me. I'll take my money elsewhere. This location needs training or retraining on customer service. I haven't had any negative experiences in years at Kohl's, so I was surprised how unprofessional and rude the store was. I was trying to exchange, not return several birthday T-shirt's. I've visited over 5 Kohl's to correct the wrong size. I misplaced the receipt, yes my fault from visiting so many stores. But, that doesn't mean to be rude and extremely unprofessional. Was told by another employee she could help me, so I got out of line. Then was told, she couldn't assist me, I had to go to the back of the line. Another employee kept scanning the wrong shirt for the price and blamed me for her lack of knowledge.... excuse me. I'm usually not a department store kind of girl. Not only am I disinclined to wade through mountains of clothes in an attempt to find something that strikes my fancy, but I'm not a super big fan of shopper traffic that more often than not includes rambunctious screaming kiddos that have a tendency to slam into my legs full force and will one day be the death of me. If I had to go into a department store, though, it would probably be Kohl's - more than anything because they are kind enough to send me primo coupons every once and while like $10 off a purchase of $10 or more. The cheapskate in me rejoices! And when they opened this location in Wylie recently I figured, hey, why not use my coupon? This particular store seems a little on the small side compared to it's older brethren, but still seems to offer all the brands and departments I would be looking for. Despite being new, it's kept pretty clean, and most of the time the staff seems on top of it. Once must forgive the clearance racks and the dressing rooms after they have been bum rushed, of course. Anyone with retail experience would understand. Every time I have made a purchase here, the staff operating the checkout lines have been efficient and friendly. The cashier has always made an effort to be friendly with me and offer a smile, and they were quick to respond with back up whenever a crowd started to build up. And I really like the range and frequency of their sales - there is always some sort of sale all the time going on at Kohl's, and they're the kind that are pretty easy to understand and clearly labeled, like so much percent off this brand or these items buy one get one free. None of that buy four get three, but then you get five of something off when you get two bull crap. But of course -as with anything - there are drawbacks. With this particular store, the layout of the women's clothing departments irks me, what with it's semi circle wrap around a major segment wall in the store design that is randomly blotted with the little girls clothing department. And the fact that the pathetically small "Women's" section for the larger sizes is ostracized off on it's own could be seen as outright insulting; it's almost as if Kohl's thinks 99% of their curvier lady shoppers only want to spend their money on stretch khakis and soccer mom plaid button ups and be totally ashamed of it. Other departments that seem a little lacking would include women's pajamas and the "petite" clothing department - whether that's a chain supplier choice or the fact that this store has a below average footprint, I don't know. The little price checker columns where you can scan items you found to check the price and sales are more or less inconveniently placed. In my last visit which spanned probably 60% of the store, I remember seeing maybe one off in the distance on the support column, and not because it's location was well indicated. If I had need of one, no doubt I would have had a frustrating time trying to locate it. Overall I'm in the middle of the spectrum as far as this specific establishment is concerned. I have been to way dirtier/trashed locations of Kohl's, but I have also seen way better selection in various departments. And even though I'm not a fan of the whole department store thing and how they tend to mark things up (seriously, fifty-nine smackers for a regular ole' pillow, no memory foam or anything?), I would defer to Kohl's and even this location because they are generous with their coupons and their service. So if you're totally unlike me and love to get your groove on consumer-style, then maybe you'll be a fan of this Kohl's - especially no that you don't have to trek to Garland or Plano for the nearest location, dwellers of Wylie and beyond. Feel free to give this place a try for yourself and see how it works out for you. No doubt I will be back in with their next coupon, looking for something I kind of need that's exactly the minimum required to use the coupon. read more

I went to this Kohl's because i had a gift card and thought it would be more organized than the other Kohl's I have tried to shop at. My coworker had also recommended this location. This store was just as messed up as the other ones I've seen. I went on a Sunday around 11:30 and there was stock on the floor, shelves that looked like they had never been straightened. We recently signed up for Kohl's credit card and Rewards program because they promised us we would get a 15% coupon. We received the coupon through email a week later. When my wife presented the coupon at the store, the employee immediately accused my wife of trying to commit fraud. She then called it to the attention of her manager and another employee so they could gang up on my wife. When my wife explained to them that this was the coupon that Kohl's sent us, they got defensive and accused her of being a criminal. I have never been treated like this at any store. Don't shop here unless you want to be treated like a criminal. read more

As it was already mentioned by other customers, Kohl's in Wylie is a poorly operated store - especially ONLINE PICKUP DEPARTMENT. When I came to the store to pick up my online order, there was a group of cashiers talking energetically to each other. I was the only customer at the pick up area at that time. They acknowledged me and one of the cashiers began to help me out. She disappeared for a long 20 minutes trying to find my order. When she returned, she stated in a careless voice that she couldn't find my package and someone else would continue to look for it. Meanwhile, she started to help other customers completely ignoring me. Time passed... The cashier had the chance to serve 6 or 7 other people while I was still patiently waiting for my order. Finally, someone brought my items but they were not packaged. Also, they couldn't find the receipt that would go with my order. I didn't plan to spend the whole evening in Kohl's and I asked to talk to the supervisor. Unfortunately, the manager on duty had the same unfriendly and careless attitude as the employees did. I was so disappointed and upset! However, what appalled me most is the fact that the manager made the sarcastic comment behind my back as I was leaving, and the cashiers began to giggle. Obviously, this local store has turned into a "kingdom" of mess and rudeness. I wish the Kohls Corporate Office could read this review and consider some effective steps to customer care improvement in the Wylie location. I like Kohl's for the affordable prices and nice selection of clothes, but I don't think I'm going to shop here anymore. I don't recommend it to anyone, either! read more

I went into the store late this afternoon and after nearly an hour found several items of clothing. I had to clean out the dressing room as it was filled with clothing left by someone else. I went to checkout and waiting in line, not an unreasonable amount of time, checked out and showed the cashier an email I had with a coupon. She asked for the bar code. I found it...it wasn't bright enough so she adjusted my phone. I handed her my rewards card and had my Kohl's card in hand. I presented a gift card for part of the purchase and was told that it wasn't any good. I knew that wasn't correct. She called the customer service desk person and was told to tell me to call the 800 number on the card. I left the items on the counter and came home. I called the number and the card is fine and worth quite a bit. The person who answered could see that the store tried to use it but failed and wanted me to tell him why customer service didn't step in to help. Good question. I could order a couple of the items online but can't find the sweater I really wanted or the shirts I wanted. The gift cards I have aren't a sale for the store...they are a sale if I use them...which I may not bother to do. As a long time customer I would expect better than to tell me to do their job for them. Would NOT recommend. Customer service used to be great...now I guess it's not part of the management plan. read more

I came here for a suit, I didn't find the right size and I asked Elke if she can find me my size in another store, after few minutes Elke came out with a sticky paper, she wrote all the stores that have my size and she was very friendly, the store is clean,neat and all the associates are very friendly. They made their employees wear dunce hats!! Yes, you read that correctly- dunce hats. Each cashier was given one hour to secure a credit application from a customer. If they were not successful, they were given a party hat with a "D" on it. I asked the Customer Service and was told it was indeed a dunce hat. This brilliant idea came from Rachel M., store manager, according to Carol, the manager on duty. Carol said it was "just a game" and not intended to be negative. Bet the employees that were told to wear the dunce hat did not think this was funny, or a "game". Even my second grader said that would be really embarassing and it was not nice. Would have been really upset if that was one of my children working there and was told to wear this hat. Not funny at all. read more

The assistant manager sucks at this location! Rhonda lets her employee disrespect her customers. I had a cashier roll her eyes at me (Zee) because I told her I didn't need a second bag for my merchandise. When I walked to customer service Rhonda, the assistant manager did not apologize or even say she would talk to this lady for her rude behavior! I waited in the return line forever, because the workers would rather do nothing and let one person run the register than help. The lady in front of me seemed to be doing a difficult return and held up the line. Only until someone lined up behind me did the lady doing nothing finally decide to help. I wanted to exchange some items but she wouldn't let me, because they weren't the same brand. I don't recall seeing that on the return policy. All it said was return within 30 days. I hardly shop at kohls so whatever. Didn't know that. Thanks to that stupid policy, I had to return them and then buy my other items so I lost my Kohls cash. I basically just gave them their items back since I hardly got any credit back. The lady even rolled her eyes at me when I told her I didn't want to buy one of the items I picked out since I got ripped off.
