H&M recently opened their doors in Town East Mall...and normally I'd say "ehhh...go to the one in…read moreNorth Park Mall", but I am about to shock you. THIS STORE IS BETTER THAN ITS NORTHPARK COUNTERPART! First the selection of clothing is exactly the same as NorthPark. Looking for Versace for H&M? Its here. Want that amazing $39 sweater...yup they have it. Also, this store is NOT as chaotic as the NorthPark store. Waiting in line for a dressing room doesn't exist here. Also waiting in line to pay isn't a pain at all. This store IS two stories (just like NP) with Women's on the second level and Men's/Children's on the first level. Overall...this is a VERY nice addition to Town East Mall and may be something that helps keep Town East from falling into ghetto mall hell! Definitely recommend this H&M Store to all fashionistas! Check it out!

I enjoy a large variety when shopping cause you never know what your on the mood for. The music was pretty down-to-earth and got the theme of the store. One con is that you definitely need to be able to have outfits in mind to match and pair different items. I do not have that talent so I make sure to bring family that does so I can get good outfits. Overall, it's a great store for casual attire.

I tried clothes on and asked if they could keep them at the counter while I continued to look, the girl working at the register didn't even make eye contact with me, she just said ok, with an upset face. Hmmm while I continued looking for clothing for an upcoming vacation, a gentleman that works there offered if he could put clothes in a dressing room for me, he was he only helpful person there. In the end I found lots of great clothes for my vacation however, I feel the need to write this review because the only reason I feel I was treated differently was because of the color of my skin. I find it weird because I'm Hispanic and it looked like everyone working there that was ignoring me is Hispanic too. Next time I will rethink going there. Perhaps some customer service training needs to be revisited.

First of all, who doesn't love The Gap?…read more This is a cute lil Gap. Right in the heart of the Inwood Village. The reason for (fyi, there is a Gap kids right next door...surprised?) I was getting so frustrated cause I was looking for this dress in my size and it was like the 3rd Gap I went too. Not only did the lovely sales lady notice my frustration, she took all the clothes out of my hands and got me a dressing room. She then told me to start trying on and she would look for the dress so I wouldn't end up having a stroke in the store. Smart girl. Fast forward 4 minutes later...VOILA! Dress in hand. Easy as pie. She was cute and talkative, but not creepy talkative, like trying to get me to buy stuff. Oh and the new 1969 jeans are in and they are TO DIE FOR! Fit like a glove... I left with my dress, two new pairs of jeans and a new found love for the Gap on Lovers Lane.

The sad part is I bought it on my credit card, and I wasn't looking to return them, but she wasn't willing to help at all, even when I associate let her know that's all I was trying to do. Definitely not a customer friendly manager, and should maybe reconsider the position that she's in. Since then I've dropped in several times to check out their selection and have been pleasantly surprised. I purchased a wallet about a year ago for about $35 and it has held up really well. After passing my principal certification exam, I wanted to splurge a bit and buy myself a new bag so I dropped in Kate Spade to check out the selection. I found a couple of bags that caught my eye and settled on a nice handbag that was classic, understated, and had a matching wallet. The price was fantastic and allowed me to grab a few wallets in addition to the handbag without feeling guilty. Although the store is often busy, the staff is always helpful and friendly. The deals are definitely worth the wait in line and I think that Kate Spade has replaced the Michael Kors outlet just across the way as my favorite store in the Grand Prairie Premium Outlet for handbags and wallets.
