Meh. My mom and I went into this location last weekend and weren't super impressed. The store seemed really big at first but we quickly realized it was mismanaged and clothes were all over the place. It felt like I had to squish between the isles and it was a constant battle with other customers. They were having a clearance sale but everything was disorganized 0/3 mixed with 2T and whatever else they felt like throwing on the rack. They had a poor selection in my daughter's size unless I wanted super hot pajamas and long pants, not when it's hotter than heck outside. The prices were okay on Walmart branded items, but I was shocked at how expensive their SHEIN and other overseas items were. I found a dress for $8 and for giggles looked on SHEIN and I could get the same dress for $4.55. No thank you, I'll wait the month and get it half the price! The OUAC near my house doesn't allow brands like SHEIN to be sold, the mostly offer in season clothing, and there's room to walk for everyone. Not coming back to this location anytime soon. read more

It was my first time at this location, and it did not disappoint. The prices are reasonable, and a lot of the merchandise I found is brand new. I also took some clothing in and received a fair amount for what was accepted. I wish I knew about the store sooner! I will be back again soon. Tried to sell a bouncer and walker here today in perfect condition and the associates were very rude. They gave my husband and I very judge mental looks. They took about twenty minutes to inspect both items and then said they only take items from 2019 and up when I looked up a lot of items in the store they were from well before 2018 and lots of their toys were filthy. They offered to take a bouncer for $12.50 that is now $75 at Walmart which is somewhat understandable but they were rude. We went down to buckaroos right after and they were so friendly and offered us $30 for both items which is right around what we expected plus the service was phenomenal. I found a $10 two piece suit (long sleeve shirt and leggings/pants) by Ralph Lauren in great condition, and couple other brands in good condition & cheap. Again, you just have to take some time searching but overall everything is in order by their sizes. The times I have gone I have scored, woohoo! Last Thursday it was 50% off A LOT of selected items. & it's like they always updated their inventory because I rarely see the same items. This was always my favorite store to buy slightly used clothes in Mesquite. I purchased most of my daughter's newborn clothing at this store. They offer new and used toys, games and books as well. When a special event was coming up I would purchase a couple of their overpriced, but beautiful hairbows. Like any resale store, it's a lot about luck and patience. I always had better luck selling clothes to others in bulk because I hated dragging a huge bag down to OUAC and they offer me two dollars in store credit for the TEN things they wanted. I realize they must make a profit to be in business but that didn't make it any easier with a baby in tow! I also recommend Plato's Closet for the teen and adult version of this store. OUAC should really be ashamed to have their name on the Mesquite location. I know that the locations are franchises, however this location makes your company have a bad name! This location is a total disgrace. I have gone there numerous times over the years and it keeps going downhill! I went in this past week and took items to sell. I knew better than to do that. In the last year or so I have stopped shopping at OUAC in Mesquite or selling there. I have since taken my business to another resell shop that is fantastic. But they were closed and I really wanted this stuff gone. I took in about 8 boxes of childrens clothes and a jumperoo. I was called at 423 on Sunday and was told my items were ready. I said I would head that way in just a few. I got up and ready and headed out the door. I got there at 501. Of course they closed at 5 and would not let me in. It would have been nice for the person calling to give me a reminder since there closing time as in 30 mins. I then went the next day to pick up my items. They had chosen a small basket of items- which is to be expected. They said they would give me $20 something. And the rest was for me to take back. I then asked where the jumperoo was. They looked confused. I then explained what it looked like. And they then asked if I was donating it? I said no. Then they proceeded to look panicked. And started talking about someone sold it and what to do. I guess they did not think I could hear them. She then comes back and says she will give me the money for it. Which ended up being $12. This was an $80 jumperoo orginally in GREAT SHAPE. I would have gotten much more if I would have sold it to the other place since they would have easily got $50 for it. However, I did not argue because there was no way I was getting it back since it was ALREADY GONE!! This just pushed me over the edge! I will never step foot in that store again! Makes me wonder if they REALLY donate their items somewhere too? Or if everything donated is sold since the girl flat out asked if I had donated it. It wasnt good enough for them to purchase from me and sell... but it was good enough for me to donate and them sell???!! This is very unethical and I will post my review everywhere I can! you should really looking into this location and the practices there. Don't waste your time trying to sell here. I took the time to organize and fold the clothes. We brought clothes, shoes, baby monitor, doorway jumper, Ergo baby carrier, and a few other name brand items. Everything we brought, their website said they needed! So please explain to me why they only bought 3 items?! All in incredible shape, even some were never used. I went in looking for some preemie clothes for my new niece, and the selection was very limited. Specifically, i went looking for bows or hats, but everything they had in stock was too big and ranged from $6-$12. More than half the preemie clothes still had the original sales tags on them, and their prices were about a dollar cheaper than the original sales tag (some from marshalls, ross, carters, ect.). I did like the sales person, who pointed me in the right direction, because she handled herself very well. There were kids running all down the isles (without parents) and she did a great job at calming them down without being rude. I might be back when my niece gets a little bigger. read more

This Mesquite store owned by Waseem, who apparently is never there is nothing more than a scam! ANYONE who takes their items there should be aware that they falsely advertise that they pay 30-40% After I looked at several items & asked questions it was clear that if someone walks out with 10% they are lucky. Even worse it's left up to the discretion of young girls (who are NOT friendly), probably have no kids or do not care abt the moms & families bringing their children's clothes, toys, etc hoping to have some extra cash for groceries, a bill, or gas. I'd taken at least $300 in different items...2 bags had barely been looked at, if at all. And their go to answer is "we already have too many of this." In my case that WAS NOT true. 2nd "It is left up to our discretion what we take and what we pass on." For a consignment shop that is unacceptable if the items fit in the parameters of what they take and it's in good condition, which was exactly my case. The workers at that shop should be required to take a class on customer service and just common courtesy...out of the many nice, several NEW (tags still on) items I took they offered me $12 for 9 items...so you do the math. They aren't cheap so there's NO WAY I was paid 30-40% If you want to be treated fairly take the time to go to downtown Terrell to Mother Goose. I will NEVER chose convenience again, especially when the employees treat customers so terribly! read more

I have bought amazing things for both boy and girl and found some good brands from Marc Jacobs, juicy, Gap, Zara and much more... This is the place to go for baby girl abs boy under 24 months, not as big of a selection for older though :( read more

It was very easy for our family to do business and we ended getting rid of more than we thought we could.

We went to this location in Wednesday. I purchased over 60 dollars worth of clothes for my 2 year old son. To be exact 9 outfits, a pair of swim trunks and a pair of shoes for my daughter. I brought the bag home and set in the laundry room to be washed. When I went to do the laundry today j discovered that they had only given me about half of my order. I had 3 outfits, a shirt and my daughters shoes in the bag. I am missing 5 outfits, a pair of shorts and a pair of swimming trunks. I called the location as soon as the opened at 10 am and spoke w a young lady who took down all my info and stated she needed to call the workers on shift that day and find out where they placed my bag. No apologies or kindness at all. I waited 4 hours and still no return phone call was made so I drive up to the location on my lunch hour. A young man looks around and says he can't find it. I ask what the protocol is for items left behind and he says "I dunno". He then gets rude and tells me to come back tomorrow and speak to a manager. Since when do stores not have a assistant manager or team lead or someone capable of running the floor on shift when the manager is absent??? We then leave and call back to the store to speak to another person who states she "guesses" she's in charge and again is rude and takes my info down to supposedly give me a call back. I AM LIVID! That money was my sons birthday money and we chose to spend it there to get more bang for our buck. And now we are walking away with 3 outfits and a shirt for 60 bucks! Are you kidding me?!? Not to mention, the customer service was horrible. I have 7 children and have been a loyal customer to once upon a child's from Michigan to Texas for over 19 years.
