This store is absolutely amazing! They have great products, a large variety of products, and some of the most friendly and kind employees I've ever met! These employees are absolutely amazing and were so personable! I absolutely recommend this store! It's incredible!!!!!! read more

I've never had anything but positive experiences coming here. This past week I took my teenage son for his first time so he could blow some of his birthday money. He was blown away by the service, the way multiple people took the time to talk to him, and just how personable everybody was. He's already excited to go back. There's a reason this place has been around for so long. Yeah, they have a LOT of cool stuff. But more importantly, they treat their customers well. read more

This place is awesome! The employees are always super friendly and helpful. If you love shopping online for alternative clothing, this place is for you! Honestly it's so hard to find cool things like this in AZ. I love this place since I don't have to buy the things online it's right at my convenience. I especially love this place because you can order something they don't have and ship it to the store for you. I bought a purse there but it wasn't in stock and the owner got in touch with the whole seller and was able to pull strings and get me my amazing eyeball purse. This place has everything! From brands like kreepsville666, demonia, tuk creepers, and so many more cool brands. Not only that but they have a band tee wall that stretches across the store and have a awesome sticker wall with every band you can think of. Such a cool place! read more

Shirts 'n' Things - Kreepsville666 eyeball purse. The cutest purse ever! - Men's Clothing Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I cannot say enough positive things about this place. I have taken my nieces here twice, and the staff is always super friendly, helpful, attentive, and ready to answer any questions. They have the most amazing selection of t-shirts- bands, movies, anime etc. My niece has been looking for a pair of Demonia boots and finally found a place to try a pair on. Thankfully they also had her size. She was so excited!! Thank you guys for being the greatest in customer service, attitude, and selection. Highly, highly recommend!! read more

I love the cramped cluttered feeling of Shirts 'n' Things. Eh, where to start I love the belt buckles they keep in the case since I am a belt buckle person and they have some cool and beautiful belt buckles. Cool lighters, stickers, posters, gothic hair accessories, hats and even cute baby outfits with a metal or gothic twist. Huge music memorabilia selection to choose from whether it is shirts, posters, stickers, bags, patches, and hats. They have a great shoe selection from Demonia, creepers, and boots. Nice purses as well near the back of the store. There is way too much to look at in one shopping trip, just take your time and do one section at a time. Nice assortment of jewelry and altogether weird items. Right across the street from MCC, next to Cheba Hut and Subway. read more

Staff is super friendly and the store is gorgeous inside. Lots of fun novelty items and cute apparel/accessories.

This place reminds me of the University District right outside of the University of WA. And the owners and their employees are incredibly chill and laid back. You certainly didn't feel pressured to make a purchase. I drove 30 min from N. Phoenix to get to the shop, and it was worth it! I got a personalized t-shirt for a friend for his birthday. They were incredibly accommodating, and made the entire process easy. And I didn't have to order 200 t-shirts; I was able to get just the one. The base price was $19.99, and only $2 more for any size over 2XL. It was only $9 more to get some on both sides of the shirt. Their selection of kitsch is impressive, and eclectic. There was so much interesting stuff: iron on patches in various characters/slogans, large ( even vintage) movie/band posters that were flattened out against sturdy cardboard, incense, lighters, wallets, purses, cute clothes, and more. A person could definitely spend all day in there, and enjoy it. Oh, and easily spend your life savings. Lol!!! I'm a huge fan of this shop, and for sure a loyal customer. It's a mom and pop shop, and I believe in supporting local business. Mom and pop shops put in a lot of effort and love in what they do; that's certainly true of this place. read more

I wandered in here to check it out from curiosity and was quite amazed at their huge selection of T-shirts and posters from every imaginable rock group and concert. It's really one of those places you have to see to believe. They have a website too, www.shirtsandposters.com. Check it out. read more

Loved our experience! Were there yesterday looking for lounguefly backpacks and we ended up coming out with tool shirts. We got taken care of from who I believe was the owner and he offered the best costumer service! We are from CA but will make sure to come by when we are in town they literally have everything you can think of in store! We got referred there by a worker from Spencer's at the mall read more

I love going into this headshop. It reminds me of the ones that are used to have back in the 80s and 90s like the old high society stores that are now long gone. The prices here are very reasonable and the store attendants are very friendly and helpful. I have been shopping here for years I will always come back for more good old nostalgia read more

Shirts n Things is one of my favorite shops in town. You can find a T-shirt from almost any band or artist your heart desires. The shoes and bags are unique. You can always find a gift for someone there! read more

Been to this place hundreds of times. Never a bad experience. Perfect place for anyone who enjoys music, classic films, jewelry, or anything in between. read more

I think the return policy is actually stupid if all my items are tagged and still in package I should be able to return my items. Fucking ridiculous business practice. read more

The Best Service From Larry and His Wife! I have done business with Larry for quite possibly almost a decade. He has always gone out of his way to be super polite, respectful and absolutely genuine in his dealings with me. They used to also do custom T-Shirt orders for me and I cannot recall having such reliable vendors often in the shirt business. They always have gone the extra mile to make sure I have been 100% satisfied! It is rare in this world to find someone running a business or even a person at all who genuinely is a good person and does honest business with you to the point where friendship is created. If you need something you don't see there, let Larry or his wife know and I'm sure they will do their best for you whenever possible. So by all means stop by his shop and give a good family man some business instead of the big box stores! read more

This is THE place to go for rock T-shirts. They have punk, metal, industrial, goth, new wave, classic rock and other genres covered. And the staff is insanely cool. I visit each time I'm in Arizona, and I buy at least two shirts per visit. Most recently, I snagged Bauhaus, The Smiths and The Pixies. Need patches? They got 'em. Pins? Yup. Boots? Covered. Lighters, posters, tapestries, rock fashion accessories and more are all under one roof. And that SMELL, that Shirts 'n' Things smell, is one of a kind. It's the scent of rock'n'roll. read more

I went in with high expectations and left empty-handed. Problem? they didn't really have what I was looking for at a reasonable price. They did however, have a lot of stuff that maybe I'll need sometime in the future. I was recommended Shirts 'n' Things by a friend in the music scene when I told him I was looking for Demonia boots and other goth/rock apparel and accessories. Despite walking out empty handed, I have to admit that I'm really pleased to say that a store of this sort is found in Arizona at all. Merchandise: -band t-shirts -accessories (body jewelry, wallets, chains, hats, etc) -shoes/boots -patches -truck/car decals -custom designed tees -women's "pin-up" style clothing -decor (posters, flags, etc) -lots more I'm sure Quality: -wasn't over-the-moon in the quality department. Example: cigarette cases appeared to be cheap quality (for $20), patches were not band produced, they are screenprints on black fabric mass-produced in store. -jewelry quality (specifically metal bracelets and chains) were far below the price they were asking ($35-50). Staff: -hit and miss helpfulness. Some were preoccupied with their task at hand, wouldn't even acknowledge someone standing in front of them. -generally seemed more concerned about people filching items than actually trying to sell things to paying customers. Selection: -tons of some stuff, very little of others. Very wide variety of items to browse. -very limited shoe selection -tons of shirts. Shirts upon shirts upon shirts. I guess that's why it's called Shirts 'n' Things. Good business they've got going here-- lots to choose from and they cater to the uprising of rock music fans in the Valley. Bought a leather cuff and that's it, but it's a damn cool leather cuff. Might be back if I'm in the area. read more

Worked there for about 6 months, so I'll try to make this unbiased. This is a family owned rock memorabilia shop that sells everything from posters, t-shirts, purses, shoes, patches, jewelry, and drinking accessories. They also do special orders and keep a pretty good eye on what sells and what doesn't, so there's always something new and a lot of favourites are always in stock. Some cons: Some of the stuff isn't the best quality for the price and they are overstocked on a lot of things, giving the shop a very cluttered, cramped feel. This sucked for the employees because we had to resort everything on a constant basis, and there was just too much stuff. This might be good as a customer, though, since they have just about anything you could want. Great place to go if you're looking for gifts and they have a lot of sales items too, so you can get a lot of things for under $10. Think of this place like a family-owned Spencers Gifts and/or Hot Topic. read more

Love this place! I mostly buy my hair dye here because it's one of the only places in the state that carries it....they have all kinds of cool stuff and will order things if need be! You can also get custom shirts and stickers made there if you need that kind of thing! read more

Food was decent, waitresses were nice but not great at their jobs. In their defense the manager must not schedule enough labor to do the job. You will wait minimum 30 minutes for your food. We waited 15 minutes just for our Coke, another 20 for the food then 15 to get the bill. chicken parm was pretty good read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! I have been coming here since I was a teenager, and now my teenagers shop here. Larry and Deb (the owners) are some of the nicest people you will ever Meet. Friendly staff, great customer service. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will gladly order it for you. I highly recommend this store for all your alternative needs read more

I really like this store a lot. They have tons of band t-shirts, and some pop culture shirts, posters, and other novelty items. I have always felt welcome as soon as I walked in and was offered assistance with finding anything at a comfortable, non-intrusive level. I've been a few times and I'll certainly becoming back again in the future. read more

Just found out about this place today all because I played hooky from work. I've been wanting a place to get metal shirts and patches for my jacket and vest and I have found it. Extremely nice staff, tons of amazing items. I will be a regular here for sure. read more

teenage son and I drove up to Phoenix to do some shopping, and this was first on our list. It. Was. Awesome. So many bands and so many items for so many tastes. In fact, there's so much that it's a bit overwhelming at first. Plan lots of time to just look at everything. My son already has an extensive t-shirt collection, but couldn't pass up a Depeche Mode (Black Celebration even!) shirt. The Russian shirt he wanted was out of his size, but we were shocked to find a Mission U.K. poster--which is one of his favorite bands. We snapped it up for a buck. I was disappointed that they didn't have any Depeche Mode posters, but they explained that those suckers are near impossible to find anymore. I appreciated the explanation. Would have loved to see some Pet Shop Boys stuff. The owners were extremely nice and helpful, and we really enjoyed ourselves. This will definitely be a store we stop into when we're in town! read more

I like shirts and I like things so it seems to make sense that I would enjoy this store. It is kind of a genre store with much of the merchandise being focused on the punk rock/alt rock lifestyle. There are band tees a plenty and patches and belt buckles you'd be hard-pressed to find outside of those walls. I love window-shopping here and while much of it isn't stuff I'd wear, I can't help but admire the amount of stuff they have. I have purchased a few belt buckles and t-shirts that I couldn't find anywhere else when I stopped by randomly. Some people might be quick to label it as a mom-and-pop Hot Topic but I don't think that does it justice. This place is more authentic and has much more interesting stuff for those who don't want to feel out of place with rock and roll tweens. read more

Absolutely love love love Shirts 'n' Things!!!! Me (Goth/Meatlhead) and my Fiance (Meatlhead) were there yesterday just looking for metal band patch ideas. And whether you're goth, emo, punk, alternative, or metalhead, it's worth the trip to see what they got. read more

If you are looking for unique gift ideas or looking for that one band shirt you had a few years back but somehow got misplaced, this place will have it. From shirts to posters and from patches to new creepers, Shirts and Things has it all!! I go here when I, in search of a new shirt, a purse for my lady, some patches, whatever it maybe, its my first stop. SUPER friendly and knowledgeable staff that focus on what you are looking for and making you their priority. I was chatting with the owner Larry and he is honestly one of the nicest people I have met since moving to AZ. Thats customer service at its best! If I could, Id give them 10 stars but I cant so 5 will do. Go check out these fine folks running a family owned business full of awesome goods. So so much to see and so so much to buy. They got it all!!! read more

I stopped by to find a denim jacket and was immediately offered help. The gentleman who helped me let me try on multiple jackets. He was super chill and had great costumer service skills. One our very special sponsors for #miketoberfest2017 Step Up to the Mike just brought us here to find some era appropriate garb for this season's "1987 High School Reunion Party". We found exactly what we needed, and much more. Whether you need a ouja board kitchen magnet set, Dead Kennedys 3/4 sleeve shirt, Iron Maiden jacket patches, custom decals or full size David Bowie cut outs...THIS IS THE PLACE. Ya, the selection was great, but that's not why I'm writing this. Larry, the owner, provided all three of us a level of service I am RARELY treated to. He helped each of us find the perfect 80's concert shirt that flattered our figures and tickled our funny bones, all this while he answerved my questions about this family business's long history here in the valley. Everyone who works with the public should come shadow Larry and learn what service really looks like. read more

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They special ordered me a pair of tuks shoes. They told me 2-6 weeks as an estimated delivery time and they came in two weeks! Shirts 'n' Things - Men's Clothing Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

This place was great - so many T-shirts, tanks, purses and other neat accessories! The staff and owners were there - super friendly and helpful. The only downfall was the v-neck t-shirts I tried on didn't fit right - extremely low cut and open gaps at the shoulder blades. The tanks fit normally - bought a couple and the men's crew neck t-shirts fit fine - my husband bought a Tool t-shirt. We'll definitely make this a regular shopping trip while on vacation in Phoenix. I could have spent hours in this store with their overwhelming excellent selection of merchandise! read more

Shirts 'n' Things has ALL the shirts, but their lunchbox and cigarette case selection is pretty impressive as well. It is a great place to get rock-a-billy clothing and accesories. Naturally they stock the iconic Johnny Cash poster (the one with the finger) but I was delighted to find a half dozen other, less well known posters of him. I would like to clarify a point made by an earlier reviewer - Shirts 'n' Things DOES NOT do copyright infringement. They will screen print or vinyl cut your original design but their outside merchandise is completely legitimate. Which reminds me - the girl who takes your design and gets it ready to be printed is a genius! She is patient and seems to really know what she is doing. read more

This place Kicks ASS!!! It's the perfect place to find birthday and Christmas gifts. Besides all of the cool t-shirts there are plenty of rock accessories and memorabilia as well. Bullet belts, patches, flags, incense, studded armbands and belts, watches, belt buckles, posters, cutouts, and buttons are among some of the things you can find. I've been buying shirts here for years. The staff and ownership is second to none! The selection is as eclectic as it is diverse. Not once in all of the years that I've been a customer here have I not been able to find the shirt that I desire. Shirts 'n' things puts the special in special order, whether you're looking for Van Halen or Discharge, Mayhem or Boy George, this crew will track it down just for you. This is the place you go when your looking for a band tee or poster or stickers or hats or anything else you can possibly think of that you might need to buy your band stuff on haha. In all seriousness this place has everything for the person that doesn't want the same cookie cutter bs clothes in the mall. I love this place, In all honesty I've bought my shirts here for the past 3-4 years...only here. If your looking for anything dark, rockabilly, goth..ish, different.. then this is the place for you. They also have baby and toddler sized stuff too to rock your kid out hahaha! read more

Even at my tender age of 30-sumtin' I still like to wear the occasional band shirt and if it isn't getting it from the show - this is my first stop. I love the selection and the customer service is top notch. I love that they greet you but really leave you alone as you look at the wall-to-wall shirts. The female tees are not the most selection but then again there isn't much online. I also like the fact that in every trip I have yet to meet a condescending employee - you can buy anything without someone giving you a look or their unkind opinion like most music or specialty . It is a far drive for me and most tees average 20 bucks but I am buying local and save on shipping so it evens out. read more
