I say I won't (alumni driving through). No other word. Just tears receipt and hands it to me. Again, I get it. Midday Tues. My sale is nothing compared to your game days. But honestly awful experience and I'll never come back or tell others to come here. TONS of other options. Just do better. Like, basic politeness.

My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.

Something happened to where she couldn't pick them up, but she called and said she still wanted them and they refused unless she paid again even though they were sitting right there. And they said that they are doing work in the back of the furniture department so she couldn't get them the next day, they told her to come after, so she did. Then she decided to come into the store today (Friday, June 26th) when they told her to come pick them up and pay for them again and my grandmother said that they weren't very kind by doing what they did. And she began to scream at my grandmother. Turned into a screaming match over $6 shelves. Very unprofessional. I've worked at SeaWorld as a manager and I know nasty customers, my grandmother is NOT one of them, she was just talking about how they are supposed to be a community place and it didn't feel that way nor did they act like it. But either way, a professional establishment wouldn't do that and just be calm and nod. Even if they don't agree, fine, move on with your day. But there is no sense at screaming at an old lady. It's sick and disturbing. I really liked this place and I'm very disappointed how they have treated my grandmother. Not sure if I will go back. At the end of it all they said that they didn't have the shelves anymore (not sure if I believe that) and said they would refund her (not sure if they did after all that) the lady had glasses and long grey hair. I'm very upset and disturbed. I can't imagine being that way to someone. UPDATE: I went there to confirm the shelves were gone, they weren't. They lied. And the lady wasn't there.
