I took in 2 Totes of clothing. And then a couple months later, another tote of clothing. After 6 months I called them to ask if I had sold anything and they said I had $17 cash or $23 credit. Mind you, this was after waiting six months for things to sell. I was told it would take three months though for a check to be cut! After 3 months I still had not received the check so I called them and they told me I could just come on in and pick up the check. It really made me wonder if they are struggling financially, and if that's why they can't pay people in a timely manner. I asked if I could find out how much stuff I still had left there and I was told that they don't keep track of what has sold and what hasn't!!! I've never heard of a business working like that. I'm not trying to be mean, but I've just decided to let it go. Waiting 9 months to make $17 definitely is not worth my time and I honestly think they need the money more than I do. It's a shame because there aren't that many thrift stores and consignment shops in this area. But I honestly just feel like i'm done with Valerie's Loft.

Within its walls can be found artisan gifts of handmade jewelry; unique mobiles & clocks; purses, clothing, scarves and hats; musical wall art; pottery; baskets; and beautiful woven clothing made by Malgorzeta herself. The loom is on the premises so you can see what she's creating. (Malgorzeta has 20 years of weaving experience.) Art pieces on site rotate out so new artists are featured; over 200 artists are represented.
