Last month I visited this thrift store with my elderly mother. When we entered, we noticed a…read more"service dogs only" sign. My mother has a legally recognized service dog in Massachusetts, so we didn't anticipate any issues. We spent about 15 minutes browsing and had items we intended to purchase. When my mother's back started hurting, I grabbed her small dog to help. At that point, two employees approached us in an aggressive and confrontational manner, demanding to know why she had the dog and insisting it needed to leave. The way this was handled was extremely upsetting and, frankly, humiliating, especially toward an elderly customer with anxiety in the first place. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, we felt singled out and surrounded while simply trying to shop. I ended up taking the dog out to the car, and we left shortly after. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed what should have been a simple visit. Between the high prices and the way customers are treated, I would strongly recommend choosing one of the many other thrift stores in the area. Compassion and basic respect go a long way, and this was a very disappointing experience.

We were sold the wrong length (cathedral, presented as being the longest type that exists, which is inaccurate) and once again, they didn't call us when it arrived. After we tracked it down and picked it up, we realized the color was not the one we had ordered. With little time before the wedding--and now zero trust in Allure Bridal Boutique and its ability to deliver on its promises--we drove to Orlando and got exactly what we wanted from a knowledgeable and professional store (The Bridal Finery, which we highly recommend). We went back to Allure to request a refund, which they refused as ALL sales are final--even when they mess up. Other than an offer to overnight the right color, no attempt at resolving the issue was made and no apologies (because they blame the manufacturer). Despite the owners' inability to accept responsibility and unwillingness to issue a refund, we left the veil in the store; it is completely useless to us but hopefully a reminder to the owner of their incompetence and to be better for their customers. Please save yourself some headaches and shop somewhere else.

They then proceeded to gossip about the interaction after she'd departed, loud enough for me to hear, which I'd have preferred to not hear. The first interaction was a woman tapping on her watch as she approached, not to say welcome, but to tell me they're closing soon. I was aware of their hours, but figured I could run in and find enough new pieces to cover my week-long business trip. This acrid interaction was enough for me to simply put the clothing back and leave. Immediately after exiting the shop, the open signs were pulled in...15mins early. TL:DR: Excellent selection of clothing, ranging from casual chic to nice flowey formal pieces. The staff are, ironically, not down to Earth and not very pleasant or attentive.

We were so impressed that all of us did the scan to resolve issues others were having. When I entered I was overcome by a horribly strong odor of what seems to be a combination of bad incense & herb burning for many years. The store suffered from the 4Ds.....dark, dingy, dusty & dirty. In fact any merchandise that isn't sealed should be considered used as it is all tainted with a layer of residue from the burning of items. In so far as pressured sales, yes they do suffer from that also even to the extent of as you're heading toward the door. The couple of items I had a somewhat interest in the shopkeeper could not demonstrate or explain them correctly. Personally I couldn't get out of there quick enough to get fresh air in my body. To add to the dismal experience I had to maneuver myself around beer cans in the parking lot.
