Good, cheap kolaches and donuts. What more can you ask for?

I would go for the coffee and donuts, but not the kolaches. The normal sausage kolaches and breakfast tacos are not worth going for. I had a taco last year; it was small for the price, tasted old, and the tortilla was hard. The bread on the kolache I had recently also tasted days old and the sausage tastes like it came straight from a pack of wieners. The combo left a weird aftertaste that made me nauseous and now I have 2 large kolaches that I don't want to waste. On top of that, I'm signed up for points for awards but they're not clear or don't seem to know their own rewards system that well? I had 40 points for a free large kolache. I said it twice, showed her my phone, and gestured with my hand for one kolache. The lady grabs three kolaches and puts them in the microwave. I asked her if the rewards said it came with 3 and she said yes. She then proceeds to charge me for 3 kolaches, which is around $10. I took it anyway since I thought they were going to be good, but they weren't. I wish I were more assertive on the spot.

This is my new favorite donut and coffee shop and it's closer to our beach house than Lake Jackson!…read more! I had an awesome cream-filled bar and my husband loved the smoked brisket kolache! No Need to visit Starbucks---they have expresso and so much more!

We had a good time with our server John that tended the bar around 9:30am that we decided to stay at the bar. Though a few hiccups with our food. Not a big deal considering how busy it was. We loved the ambiance we loved the team work. As busy as the staff was they never showed frustration! Food was delicious. We Recommend this restaurant and will DEFINITELY be back. Thank you John for a wonderful morning!!

I've been to Asiel's twice this month…read more The first time, I went with my husband. We got there on a Sunday around 11:30am, and it was packed. We had to wait about five minutes for a table. Our server was very nice. He came to our table not long after we sat down and took our drink order and brought our drinks out quickly. Then he took our food order. My husband had a party melt and I had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. I also ordered two scrambled eggs. We did not have to wait too long for the food. A young male server brought us our food, and I told him I was missing my eggs. He said he'd check on that and never returned. By the time our server came, I was done eating so I said no to the eggs even though he said he would go get them. He also apologized profusely, and he seemed genuine. The food was good. It wasn't the best I have had, but it was decent. The prices were decent as well. The second time I went to Asiel's, I went with my 10 year old daughter on a Friday around 11:45am. It was't at all busy. There were maybe like three tables with two people each. My daughter and I waited almost five minutes for someone to come seat us, but no one ever came or even acknowledged us. I won't go back to Asiel's after this last time. First forgetting my food and not bringing it to me after I let them know I didn't receive it and second because we were not acknowledged at all even after waiting close to five minutes to be sat.
