I had a taco last year; it was small for the price, tasted old, and the tortilla was hard. The bread on the kolache I had recently also tasted days old and the sausage tastes like it came straight from a pack of wieners. The combo left a weird aftertaste that made me nauseous and now I have 2 large kolaches that I don't want to waste. On top of that, I'm signed up for points for awards but they're not clear or don't seem to know their own rewards system that well? I had 40 points for a free large kolache. I said it twice, showed her my phone, and gestured with my hand for one kolache. The lady grabs three kolaches and puts them in the microwave. I asked her if the rewards said it came with 3 and she said yes. She then proceeds to charge me for 3 kolaches, which is around $10. I took it anyway since I thought they were going to be good, but they weren't. I wish I were more assertive on the spot.

We usually visit their coffee trailer in Surfside Beach, which is the perfect stop before heading to the beach. If you haven't made it to their brick-and-mortar location in Oyster Creek, it's definitely worth the drive. They have a larger menu with delicious food, plus a fun selection of gifts, home décor, and unique items to browse while you wait for your order. It's easy to see why they've become such a favorite for both locals and visitors. Great coffee, wonderful people, and a business that is always finding new ways to make each visit a little different. Salads are okay, but sometimes they just put too much eggs and olives on them. Allstars is not a first choice any more. But then Lake Jackson really has no good other options. There is a list of places that have pizza, but not good. Pearland has some good places, like Russos for example.
