A person then came over and ask, "Do you know what color you're going with?" I replied, "No, I need to look at the booklet to decide." I continued waiting until 11:50 AM. At that point, I walked out -- 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I could understand a delay if I were a walk-in, but not for a booked appointment. I drove 27 minutes for this terrible experience. Their tools looked dirty, and the overall place didn't feel clean. Please don't waste your time here -- the service is awful, and the environment is far from professional and a time waster.

After being a loyal client for nearly two years, my recent encounter was appalling. On December 26, 2024, Anya canceled my fill-in appointment due to illness, which I understood. However, her dismissive and hostile response when I tried to reschedule was unprofessional and rude. When I reached out about my nails lifting and needing urgent attention, Anya's reply was focused on her personal situation rather than my needs. After escalating the issue to the owner, I was contacted by someone named Maggie, who they claimed was the salon manager yet for the 1 1/2 years I was there never had I heard of said manager nor a manager existing at all. Conveniently enough magically, there was a manager to handle my complaint when I contacted the Abby. Maggie messaged me who not only refused to offer a solution but also told me I was no longer a "fit" for the salon. This unprofessional dismissal ended my long-standing relationship with them, and I was left without the services I had already paid for. What was worse, there is a toxic, "mean girl" atmosphere at this salon. The staff is fake to your face and talks behind your back. They make the client out to be in the wrong falsely implied that I had made unreasonable demands in the past, which is not the case. I have text messages to proof my assertion, Instead of taking responsibility for the subpar service, Anya deflected and failed to offer a constructive solution. They stick together, no matter who is in the wrong. If a client voices a legitimate concern, the staff shuts them down, and as soon as any complaint arises, they retaliate by refusing service. This entire ordeal caused significant emotional distress and financial loss, as I had to seek another salon for repairs at extra cost and inconvenience. I was never offered a chance to resolve the issue, nor was I compensated for my losses. If you're considering this salon, be cautious. The lack of professionalism, the toxic environment, and how they treat their clients is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Sugarcoat Nail Loft.

I picked a color that wasn't that sparkly and they showed me what it would look like and then let me test to see if another one would be better. And I ended up picking the color pictured. They told me they would have to cut my nails shorter for the tips. And sized the tips well for me. I think the shaping could have been more coffin shaped and look more square here, I also think one of the nails on one hand is longer than the other hand. I still love the color and i'm 2 weeks and and they are holding strong and looking great. It took about 1 hr and 20 minutes all together with wait time and finishing the nails. $45.
