This is the first time I had a Moroccan bath. The Jacuzzi was so relaxing along with the loofah treatment, scrub, and massage. If you want to feel relaxed and pampered, this as a winning option. I was offered water or tea at the end. They have blockers with keys and a dressing room so that you can get changed into a disposable swimsuit. They also have a nice robe that covers you. You can bring your own towel or buy one for $10. I brought my own. I'm looking forward to returning!

Last night my friend and I went to dinner at Iron Horse before going to the Royal Oak theater. Having purchased online tickets in the past, I did not pay attention to the email that said in bold letters "must print tickets to attend". With 15 minutes before showtime, we were in downtown Royal Oak without a printer and had no idea what to do. Black the Salon shares a corridor with Iron Horse, so just on a whim I went next door and explained my predicament to a staff member who promptly referred me to Mary. Without hesitation and with several customers in the salon, Mary took time out of her evening to print my tickets and save the day. She is a rockstar and her staff was equally as welcoming. I'm not sure how well they cut, color, or style hair, but I will definitely be booking my next appointment for salon services with Black because if their talents behind the chair are half as good as their talents in front of it... I know I'll look and feel amazing when I walk out.

I've given Black three shots now because my husband liked it. My first haircut was pretty good, no complaints. The next visit...I decided to get some color done and made an appointment with a different stylist just based on available times. I got a call an hour before my appointment letting me know the stylist was running behind about 10 minutes. No problem. I thought that was very courteous. So I arrived a few minutes late as told, only the stylist wasn't even at work yet. I waited another half an hour for her to show up. I was worried about the appointment going over, but received no apologies when she arrived. The icing on the cake was that the color didn't even take. The stylist didn't charge me for the appointment, which was the one grace of the day. But I wasted 3 hours and still had to make another appointment. And right now, I am sitting at the salon AGAIN waiting for a third stylist, who is also now over half an hour late to work. Now, there's bad luck and there's bad service, but I'm pretty sure I'm getting equal doses at this salon. Customer service just doesn't seem high priority. I'll think about revisiting my star rating after she redoes my color today, but I already feel stupid for even sitting here.

Went here for lip filler and Botox specials almost 2 years ago. I never left a review at the time,…read morebut now that I'm going to get filler and have to have everything dissolved and redone since it was so poorly placed and overfilled- Im more than a little annoyed and deciding to do so. The injector I went to ended up totally botching and unevenly placing my lip filler here. I reminded her multiple times at the consult that I didn't want the keyhole look because I saw she did that with some clients- she still gave me a keyhole (lol). Also, the top lip was bigger than the bottom and wayyy too much filler was placed on one side, so it was bigger than the other side and lumpy. She said this is how her clients "naturally swell" because of the technique she uses, and to give it a few weeks. After a few weeks, you can see in the picture that the upper left side on my lip was obviously still bigger than the right side. I went back to have it fixed and she ended up having to put more filler in the other side of my lip to even it out (yes I paid for another syringe to do this). When I mentioned how the top lip was still bigger than the bottom lip, she said that we would wait to put more in the bottom lip because she thought the top lip would even out to be proportionate as the swelling subsided (I still had half a syringe left). After a couple more weeks, I called to confirm that I wanted to come in and use the last half of my syringe that I had remaining to fill out the bottom lip to make it even since it was in fact NOT proportionate. The front desk told me that I had no remaining filler left. I reached out to the injector directly about this since she said I could come back, and she ignored me (lol). I don't mind that she messed up, we're all human and that's going to happen. I just didn't care for how instead of owning up to it, she kept gaslighting me saying it wasn't messed up and that it "looked good" and then acted like I was an inconvenience for coming in to get it fixed. Never once did I act rude or upset, and I tipped every time I went for injections and to get it fixed. (This is the first medspa that has also ever asked me to tip for Injectables). Overall, vibes were not good here and I would avoid if you're expecting professional & reliable treatment

We were both very happy with our experiences here. The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is that it's a bit pricey, although I believe it's on par with other places in the area. Both of our services were $50 each before tip, and I got a regular pedicure, not a gel pedicure; a gel pedicure would have been $75. Other than that it was a very nice place and I would return for a manicure or pedicure.
