I had my first facial with Yadira and WOW! she was kind, helpful, and informative. I am a new regular for sure!

I had Cienna do an express facial to do an extraction. As you can see in the before picture, there was a lot of red spots on one side of my face. I don't normally have acne, but people started noticing how one side of my face was just a problem. I wasn't originally stressed and I didn't have a specific side of my face that I slept on so I didn't know why that was happening. It ended up stressing me out which made it worse. I tried Paula's Choice clear extra strength exfoliator to clear it up which it temporarily did. Once the redness went away, I realized there was a deep blackhead that I assumed was causing the redness. I tried popping it but I couldn't get the head of it out so it persisted. In desperation, I went here to get a professional extraction. Disclaimer though, if you're expecting one of those extractions you see on Tiktok, you might not get that here. Cienna didn't believe in puncturing or damaging the skin, so she used two Q tips to pop things on my face. It did a good enough job, I still had blackheads on my nose but my biggest concern was that problem area on the right side of my face. The after pictures were taken within a week after my appointment and my face cleared up considerably even after those pics. Currently, I am about two weeks post-appointment and the problem area is hardly even there. Cienna was also not able to get the head of the blackhead out, but her massaging my face flattened it some. On top of that, since my pores were open from the steam, when I got home, I put a pimple patch on the problem area and it sucked everything out of there! Although I didn't get the tiktok extraction I was hoping for, Cienna made up for it by giving me advice on my current skin care routine and customized the facial to specifically tackle any problems my skin was having, which was specifically dryness. My face felt refreshed and hydrated for the following week. And this was all with the cheapest facial offered so I can't imagine the better ones. I highly recommend, although I personally want each and every pore extracted so I might try to find a different place. read more

I stopped in today to see Ms. Renee'. My right hand has been swollen and I have been hitting the gym a little more. Ms. Renee sat me down in my chair and got my water ready for my Detox. She placed a heating belt around my stomach which felt so good with it being cool in the office. The foot Detox is only 30 minutes but some how I find myself going to sleep. I guess with the aroma therapy oil diffuser and the soft music playing -going to sleep was easy. Today my Water was a Strong Green. Today it appears my liver, gal bladder along with my bones and joints needed cleansing. My hand that has been hurting for the last two weeks- is not hurting at all. I have to start this out by saying the customer service here is amazing. they got me in same day but on top of that my Uber took me a 30 minutes away from their location. I called them to let them know assuming that my appointment would be canceled and they called me back to let me know that he could wait, and I could come in even though it was almost an hour after my appointment time. They were extremely friendly and even had a deal going on. Overall a great experience will definitely be returning. read more

First of all Brenda is all that! Everything they say she is! I waited for over a month just to get an appointment with her because everybody loves her so much, she is seasoned and very educated and amazing at what she does. My husband was very happy with his facial , he got Gabrielle and she was wonderful as well, and they are adding a new girl Jennifer Brewer who is more than amazing I know her from different salon we can't wait to be with her as well! I liked shining way. My wax was almost pain free. Michelle did my wax one week. Went back three weeks later and she was no longer employed there had to use someone else. Now why the wax was pain free and the new chic made me feel comfortable I do not like the grow back phase of the hard wax. Oh my gosh felt like I had fleas down there. I tried putting Vaseline to soothe the area no help. I put ice to cool the area no help. It was simply unbearable to me. Back to chocolate wax I went. I'll take the mild pain over the intense itch any day. read more

I went to Shining Way Esthetics yesterday (12/28/18) for a HIFU Skin Tightening procedure. Brenda Musia is a fantastic esthetician. She went out of her way to make me feel at easy and comfortable during my time spent with her. She is a pleasant and friendly person who is easy to spend time with. The HIFU procedure took about 2 hours to complete. I did not have any lasting redness nor swelling afterwards. I'm looking forward to seeing my results over the next few months. I bought two Brazilian waxed from Groupon for $41 and I went yesterday to get my first done. Inside, the salon was incredibly clean and well put together. Brenda was my esthetician and she was amazing! She had a lot of patience and was really friendly and informative. I don't get Brazilian waxed as much as I used to, so it definitely could have been more painful, but she helped make the process as smooth as possible. There aren't very many waxing parlors I've gone to that I'd like to go again (because the places and/or people make it uncomfortable), but I'd definitely go back to this one! Went to see dr herb for lip fillers and dysport brow lift.... was definitely nervous bc I don't usually just go to anybody but gave him a shot and I am so glad I did... he was very informative very kind and I couldn't be happier with my new plump lips! I purchased a laser tattoo removal session via Groupon. Brenda, the esthetician, treated me very nicely and respectful. The procedure wasn't too painful and Brenda was explaining everything along the way how the laser works and how to take care of the skin afterwards.
