Michael @Shine My Glass is the best power-washing/outdoor cleaning service in the Hill Country!! I called Michael in a huge rush because when we got up to paint my Daughter's Senior parking spot at school we had a big surprise: the prior paint was the wrong kind of paint it was bubbling and chipping in tiny pieces. Paint stripper had to be applied and now we needed to rinse it off with a quickness as to not disturb the other student's fresh paint (the spots next to her were not yet painted). Not only that there's no water source at the school and we were about to resort to 5 gallon buckets of rinsing water. We would have, but we also had a jam packed week and very little time to get up there before the other painters got started. Michael answered my call (which is amazing in itself) and heard the urgency in my voice. Even though he had a very busy day at work he did everything he could to come out and assess the situation. By the time I got there he had power washed the area very thoroughly. I told him thank you I really appreciate you and I expected him to leave. He did not. When my Daughter showed up a little while later Michael was there on his hands and knees peeling/chipping off paint with me. He stayed to help us for a very long time and also very very thoroughly power washed the whole parking spot again just because he wanted to help us. What a kind, considerate man who came to us out of the kindness of his heart, in the heat, and stayed to help us far longer than we ever expected because he wanted to. We are so extremely grateful for Michael and the work he does. We definitely made a friend that day. As a Realtor I will refer Shine My Glass to all of my Listing Clients in the future. I have been following Shine My Glass on Tik Tok for about 6 months admiring his great work so when I found myself in a situation needing someone with portable water I knew Shine My Glass was exactly what I needed. Michael you far exceeded our expectations, thank you so so much. read more

We happened to cross paths with Michael, the owner of Shine My Glass, this past weekend in Marble Falls. He took 30 minutes out of his dinner to help us rescue a litter of kittens from a drain. He had the right extension tool to reach the week-old kittens and safely extract them. His selfless act should be recognized - I have no doubt his kindness carries over to his work and company. read more

I knew my windows needed cleaning, but I honestly had no idea they were THAT dirty... yikes! By the time Mike finished, the windows were so clear I could count every leaf on the trees outside. He even put in extra work to remove some paint overspray from a previous job. He is honest, punctual, professional, and easygoing. I highly recommend his services -- you won't be disappointed! read more

Early last fall, I began researching companies to install our Christmas lights. After contacting 8 companies, Mike had the best prices and it was also important to me that I kept my lights. I feel that companies that do not allow you to keep your lights are renting them to you each year and if you want to go with another company, you do not have that option. Initially, I was told if I paid in September, I would be one of the first neighborhoods on the list and I was also assured that my lights would be installed prior to Thanksgiving and that did not happen. Things I did not know then, that I now know are that Mike's main business is a contractor and lights and etc are put aside if emergencies arise, which a couple had. Also, because he sends out invoices to prior customers first, then schedules by neighborhood based on payments received, that also affected when my lights were installed. I am not going to lie, I was given specific dates and I followed up and kept getting excuses and because I also lack patience and I take people at their word, I had my husband contact him and literally days before I was going to hire another company, our lights were installed. I was out of town during installation, but when I arrived back in town around 10pm, my jaw literally dropped when turned the corner. I felt our house was a classier version of the Griswolds. It was definitely worth the wait and we got loads of compliments from everyone. After getting to know Mike, he really is a cool dude and my husband and I really like him. We appreciate his work so much we hired him to install yard lights and have also recommended him to several other people. read more

Mike and crew did an amazing job on our windows which were really dirty and covered with tough limestone scale. They were in and out in a flash and he was also able to remove paint that another window cleaning company left behind (I was told it was 'inaccessible'). We will definitely utilize them for routine sparkling clean windows and highly recommend! read more

UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE... "Its unfortunate that we were unable to accommodate your design request. We did message each other over the past few weeks but in conclusion we felt it would be better to reimburse you so we could continue focusing on the clients that are more prepared and dont expect last minute changes." This is in no way truthful or accurate Mike. There were no last minute changes. About a month after we had paid in full...in advance...for your services, I asked what it would cost if we were to add in the sidewalks. Due to it being an additional $500, I said thanks, but we will stick with what we originally agreed to and paid for. Not a single thing changed. What DID change was you telling us that unless we spent more money and did more than just our roofline in Christmas lights, you were refunding my money. In fact, here are your exact words..."I am going to go ahead and refund you your money for this project. I am not comfortable with doing only the roofline because my company has its name on the design. We can revise a new work order (ie: spend more money) or try again next year." So, in fact, Mike...YOU are the one who was trying to change what we had agreed on...not me. Not only are you not a man of your word, Mike, apparently you are a bold faced liar as well. I am more than happy to attach our entire string of texts to prove this. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Mike came recommended, and I'm sure he is excellent at what he does. He just has absolutely zero integrity or is a man of his word. We decided to splurge this Christmas since my 90 year old mom will be with us and it will most likely be her last Christmas. I contracted Mike on October 25th to hang Christmas lights for us after he had sent over a proposal for $411 to do our roofline. I agreed to all of his terms and paid him the $411 with a text from him stating he would have them in "sometime in November" which I was fine with. I texted him on Nov 22nd to check on his timing and stated that we may want to add some more lights and asked what the price would be. I had asked about wrapping our trees, but he said since he hadn't previously purchased the tree lights, he wouldn't be able to the trees. Our other option was to do our sidewalks, but that came to $500 as we are set back quite a ways from the street. So I told him we would pass on that but stay with our original order from a month ago. I reached out again on the 22nd to see if he would be able to get to us by the 29th as we were hosting a party and I'd love to have them in by then. He pulled over to the side of the road to look at our order and his schedule, and said that he would let his assistant know that he would have our lights installed by the 29th. On Thanksgiving evening, Nov 26th, he texted me and said, "I am going to go ahead and refund you your money for this project. I am not comfortable with doing only the roofline because my company has its name on the design. When you are a little more confident in wrapping trees (which he told me previously we were too late in asking) or getting some walkways done then I will be interested. I feel like our conversation was not 100% clear. We can revise a new work order (ie: spend more money) or try again next year." To say I was speechless is an understatement. I begged him to please honor the contract we had had in place for a month, because at this late date, there is no way we can find anyone to get this done. I reminded him of our conversation in case he had me confused with someone else. I reminded him that this was something very special we were doing for my mom and how important it was to me for him to complete the job he had agreed to do a month ago and that I had paid for a month ago. His response, "Please stop harassing me." I have never in my life been so shell shocked. Business is off the chart and he has people clambering at his door, but he clearly had the opportunity to make more money with someone else and literally kicked us to the curb. I own my own business as well, and have a completely different set of work ethics than Mike obviously does. I'm sure he's good at what he does, but just be forewarned that his word is not to be trusted. read more

Contacted Mike at Shine My Glass to install lights for Christmas. Called him last minute for first time install. He came out quickly, met with us, gave us a fair quote and stuck to his installation time as promised... actually finished a day early! Lights are beautiful and photo doesn't do them justice! Honest company and a man of his word-how refreshing in this day and age! We have already booked for next year and will even expand more. He does more than lights too! Excellent work. Mike is a real jerk! I asked for an estimate, so I was expecting to make an appointment and not having to measure the Windows myself which included second story, and when he inquired whether I was still interested, and I told him I was going with someone else, he was a real jerk about it!! Not a way to conduct business!!! read more

We had them power-wash our boat house with high ceiling and tons of spiderwebs (very difficult), the dock, very high ceiling and rafters over our patio, and our windows. They did a great job. Showed up on time and left the job spotless. I was provided pictures prior to them leaving the job. Their equipment is truck mounted and very professional. The price for this hard job was great. I highly recommend them. We will be using them again. read more

Mike and his assistant were great, start to finish! Mike was super responsive via text and gave me a quote within the hour...he was really busy but was able to do a weekend for us, since we needed it done ASAP. My windows have never looked cleaner! We have had terrible luck with big companies and small local businesses in the past but were beyond happy with Mike. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great, reliable results. They have many services, so we will definitely be using them again for windows and more. My only regret is we waited too long to have them cleaned! read more

Mike was amazing and so knowledgeable about the screens/ windows in my new townhouse rental. His communication was outstanding and his service was impeccable. He took the time to educate me on the types of screens I would need based on the direction of my windows. He went above and beyond getting in all the nooks and crannies of my challenging front elevation. When he learned that my housekeepers had not cleaned the high inside windows, he quickly came in and took care of that at no charge . He was highly recommended by many of my friends - and I can see why now - I can actually see out my windows now Mike also installs holiday lights and displays so hit him up for that service as well - Thanks Mike !!! read more

My windows sparkle thanks to Mike!! Mike was very professional, prompt, courteous and wore a mask. Highly recommend!!

I am completely shocked. I have never been spoken to with such a demeaning, disrespectful and unprofessional tone and language as a female and customer. Complete disregard for human decency and customer loyalty. Mike hung up on me numerous times and spat ugly remarks and accusations after we have used Mike for three years for our holiday lights and even referred several others to him. Incredibly unfortunate and poor service. I would not recommend a service provider to anyone who cannot handle conflict with dignity and kindness. In addition, he told me to write a review on Yelp when I called him again to talk this out before he hung up on me. Yikes... read more

Mike with Shine My Glass did an awesome job with replacing 2 sections of my double pane glass windows. From the time I called him for the initial review inspection visit it was only 2 weeks until the sections were replaced, he was very courteous and professional during the whole process from beginning to end. He has also installed solar screens on all of my windows at my home and my two office locations and they look and work amazingly well. Thanks Mike read more

We used this service to clean all the windows in our house. They hadn't been cleaned in many years. He did a fantastic job! He worked diligently to get some old hard water stains and dirt off the glass. He went above and beyond by even cleaning the glass on our garage door! I highly recommend his service. Mike did an amazing job cleaning our windows and removing the screens. The house was so much brighter - I think it made a big difference in selling our home. Shine My Glass (Mike) is wonderful. He put up my Christmas lights. So enjoyed meeting him and his helper. He took the time to explain how the lights would work on the timer. Shinemyglass.com did the best job of window cleaning that I have ever had at any house I have owned. Window clearer spent hours meticulously cleaning each pane, inside and out. He also cleaned the ridges around the windows, which exceeded my expectations. He carefully moved small pieces of furniture to get at hard to reach places without my asking him to do so, which was very nice. Price was very reasonable and service was polite and efficient. Window cleaner obviously cared about the quality of his work. I am entirely satisfied with the job and would definitely hire this young man again. Kudos Michael for a job very well done. read more

Mike power washed my fence a couple weeks ago, and I wanted to wait a little bit to write this review, because I needed to verify something. Engineers will get this: lightening the wood has decreased the radiant heat in my yard, and on my house, so my electric bill has dropped about 30 kwh from the week preceding Mike doing this job, while the outside temperature went *up* 3-5 degrees that same week. It may not be a huge savings in the one month, but for the rest of the summer, it will add up, and the following few summers since he clear coated it to keep the mildew at bay. So nice to have my house be more comfortable while consuming less energy! oh yeah, and it looks a lot better too! Thanks Mike! read more

Great job! Called him last minute for a window cleaning before some house photos and he crushed it. Showed up as promised, hit the deadline and most importantly our windows shine! We highly recommend Mike and Shine My Glass. read more

Friendly, friendly and friendly guy. My wife hired this guy as a referral from our solar screen installer, and wow is he nice, good with our kids and boy does he work hard. It was so hot outside when he came to clean the windows, and he acted like it was no big deal and just worked and worked on our windows to make them look perfect and as clean as he could. We were so impressed. I mean he was so cordial and nice with our kids, that it was just refreshing to see a guy (all by himself, let me add), sweating his tush off, but yet in such a great mood and spirit. He cleaned the inside and outside of our windows, and we weren't remotely worried about having him in our home going from room to room to clean the inside of our windows. Not to sound overly paranoid, but we are not too hip on letting just anyone into our house, people that we don't know and certainly don't have a trusting relationship with. We actually have a friend that got robbed some years back in South Austin, and the thief turned out to be the employee of a plumber they hired. I mean you just never know, right? I always size people up before I let them in my home, and with the internet, if you know the name of the service person coming to your home, it's really easy using their name to look them up. The safety of my family is just way too important to me to not be paranoid about who is coming to my home. While Mike was cleaning our windows, our neighbor stopped by and he has an enclosed patio porch that has some tears in the wire fabric, and Mike told him that he can do that as well. I guess so, as he does work for a screen company as well. So while Mike hasn't done the work yet, I feel confident from getting to know him that he will do a good job. Thank you Mike, and keep up the great work ! read more

If you want your windows cleaned, at a great rate, by a top notch provider, look no further than Mike and Shine My Glass. Mike was quick to come out and give us a quote and put in a lot of extra effort to get the job done right. Great guy to work with and he looks out for you and your home when it comes to getting the windows (and screens) looking good as new. We had Mike put fresh black screens on our windows without having to replace the screen frames, which now looks great. (We even had a bit of trouble with a recent other service person, who's spray painting of our deck got all over the place, and Mike jumped right in to look out for us.) I have been recommending Mike and Shine My Glass to others in the area and will continue to do so. Great job and will be using him again. read more

I didn't think my windows could look this good. They are 24 years old and have never had much love but Mike has this thing figured out. They hadn't been washed for 7 years and I have 3 little kids. The tracks were gnarly but they came clean. Plus, surprise, I had overspray but Mike has his ways. It took a lot of elbow grease. Now when I look at the windows they are so clean that I think they are open. I like his patience to do it right and transparency (not a pun, I mean he educates his customers)! I've never had this service before but my friend said, "I paid a lot less than you, but they didn't look half as good as yours." read more

My windows have never been this clean and I have lived in my house for almost twenty years! Mike Savely of Shine My Glass cleaned them inside and out for a very reasonable price, and even replaced a couple of screens for me. I had a quote from a large company several months ago, but had delayed having them because of the rain. In the meantime, I had seen a review on another site for Mike's work and decided to give him a try. His quote was less than the original, and I can't think that anyone could have done a better job! Not only is he extremely personable, he is meticulous in his work. You will not be disappointed! read more

We needed our house windows cleaned after 4 years. We are so thrilled that we read reviews and chose Mike Savely,,owner / operator of Shinemyglass.com. We have a home a 2 story home with 38 windows, with all the front windows being French Pane. These types of windows are very labor intensive and time consuming. Mike, is so detail oriented and meticulous, that he cleaned EVERY PANE and every window to an utter sparkle. He also cleaned our screens and repaired the ones that needed repair. Our home just sparkles with the sunlight coming in after Mike's hard work. Do yourself a favor, and hire Mike for your window washing. But , do not end there.
